Flynt moves up to Aurelius. "If there are more, sure thing that was a sentry. It's using our own trick against us. It wants us to follow it. We should fall back and come in from another direction. Or at least wait and see how they react. Maybe slide around to the opposite corner over there. See if we can take cover in the ruin. Force their reply into a bottle neck." As Flynt delivers his suggestion he pulls out from under his sarapé a pair of glasses. The lite blue tint in the lenses only intensify his already steely blue eyes.
(I would say Flynt talking to Aurelius and putting on the glasses would pretty much constitute his turn. So, Aurelius is up. Note that since Elyria is still line-of-sight with an enemy we're still in combat technically. Though we might drop out here depending on what everyone does.)

While scanning the battlefield intently for enemies, Aurelius replies, "Agreed. We definitely do not want to end up surrounded by a swarm of these abominations. And it would appear that walls offer no barrier to them. One of these roofed enclosures might provide protection, but it would also trap us. I think seeking high ground and attempting concealment is the best option.... Elyria?"
Unless his comrades object, the paladin will attempt to scale the wall immediately to his left, and look for cover atop the wall.

"We must go after it Aurelius. Your magic will protect you still. Would you prefer we entered from above?"Elyria says, scanning the tower for threats, eager to finish this. Perception with help from Aelric: 21
"Yes, you are right as usual, Elyria. We are here to eradicate the infestation, and waiting while they hide in their stronghold will accomplish nothing. I do think they will not be expecting an attack from above. Flynt, what do you think about climbing up here and we can follow the wall around to the roof where the creature disappeared?"
If Flynt agrees, Aurelius will move swiftly westward along the wall, and then turn north at the bend. Any sight of the creatures so far?
Elyria does not see any more sign of the "Eelhead"
(Flynt is up. Aurelius is next - though I think he's already pretty much given his turn. I'm continuing with the initiative order just to keep track of where everyone is at despite not seeing each other.)
(Also, unless someone offers a different suggestion, Triserla is staying back with the blink dogs right where they are at.)

"No, I'm not coming up there. No one said we weren't going after it, we just shouldn't go in the same way it did. We should find another way in. Following it gives it and what ever else is in there control of the battlefield. Combining that with knowledge of our presence is a recipe for disaster."
He sets off along the base of the wall heading west and then north. He uses his turn to pause and check the body of one.of the creatures before following Aurelius as he moves along above.
Flynt investigates one of the creatures you had killed previously. They do not appear to have anything at all upon them.
(We are out of combat at this point - but obviously there is still an enemy in the vicinity which may move depending on how much time you take. We can probably wait for Aurelius at this point.)
(OK, so unless he has seen any enemies, Aurelius has made his way to around H17 or so. What can he see on the rooftop? Is Flynt on the east side or the west of the wall?)
Note that the top of the tower is more or less level stone floor except for the descending stair, which is shown. (The flat, south side of the stair is the top, flsuh with the rest of the roof.)
Triserla, Acorn, and Sozi follow Flynt around to the corner of the wall and stop there to observe.
"They don't seem to be coming out, so we must go in,"observes Aurelius. "We can enter from above, or the ground floor. I would vote for the upper entrance, but if you all feel strongly about the lower, then we will do that. But we must strike quickly!"
Round 2
Elyria misses with her shot from her Longbow.
Triserla answers Aurelius, "Three or four I think. But there could be more." (She moved up closer to the wall, west of the gap.)
(Flynt is up and will be followed by Aurelius.)

Round 2
Aurelius is able to climb up along the wall. Given the rubble at the top, finding a hiding spot is not a problem.
Sozi, Acorn, and Triserla do not move.
Round 3
The "Eelhead" runs across the second floor to a spiral stair and disappears inside the tower.
(Elyria can hide if she wishes by flying lower then back up to attack. But there are no visible targets.)

Just before the party enters, the paladin will renew his protection from evil and good spell.
