Flynt returns just in time to hear Elyrias last statement. "Can't help with what?" he asks. After Aurelius explains what his line of thinking was Flynt nods in agreement. "I'm thinking along the same lines." He says. "I think we need more information though to make this happen. Hags are naturally competitive, we just need to find the thing to make them disagree." He turns to Yoë and asks her "I noticed smoke on the horizon to the north. Do you know what resides there?"
Yoë thinks a moment. "To the north? Well, it's some distance but there are some satyr settlements as you get to the edge of the forests as you head to higher elevation. That's outback what you're seeing."
Responding to Yoë, Angus asks, "How do the satyrs, especially those in the outback feel about Leilatha? If we revealed her as a hag, would they care? Might we find any allies among those outback satyrs?"
(It was thin whisps of smoke - probably simple cooking fires.)
Yoë considers Aurelius' question for a moment. "Well, I'm not sure that any satyrs would want to follow a hag. Yea, if she was a hag and we could show people, then they'd probably stop supporting her." She pauses, not sounding like she really things Leilatha could be a hag. "I think for the villages closer to her fortress in the mountains, she is rather important. I mean, she offers a lot of jobs and puts together a fighting force to serve her and helps us defend ourselves when needed. Those further out don't really have much to do with her. Other than they're supposed to help provide soldiers and such. But usually there's plenty of volunteers."
She is quiet a moment, before speaking again hesitantly. "You don't think that when Rahkeshi said there's something about Leilatha and her sisters that she knew they were hags do you? I mean, she would have just said that directly, wouldn't she?" As she speaks, she seems a bit more worried. "I mean, I've always thought Lady Leilatha was great for putting together a fighting force to protect us all. But I guess if I think about it, most of the conflicts we've gotten into have been things that the Lady started."
Elyria listens to Yoë. "I'm not sure what they are Yoë, but we know there is something about them, something that needs to be exposed. We will just have to see how the satyrs and the eladrin reacts when we do I guess." She says. "So how do we proceed with finding the rest of the Raiments of Nature Flynt? Will the compass point to that cloak all the time now or can it somehow be set to find the next piece of the set."
Yoë looks at Elyria, "So what is this Raiments of Nature? Is that why you were so concerned about me wearing it, Flynt?" She turns to looks at him as she speaks.
(OCC: Sorry life got in the way. Also I was having a hard time remembering some details from the start of Flynt mission. But I think I have away around it. Forgive me if I get some details wrong.)
"It wasn't that you were wearing it dear Yoë, and I'm sorry if I caused you concern, but in our line of work it pays to be proactive when you can. Things that are unexpected, like my compass pointing at you, tend to put me on the defensive. I was simply being over cautious and I apologize again if I caused you concern. As for the items themselves I only knew to follow the compass but I know someone who can tell us all." Flynts goes to his gear stored nearby and digs through it for a moment soon producing a smooth river stone. " Let's see if our spikey haired friend is around." Flynt speaks at the sending stone. "Hey there, this is Flynt. Can you hear me? (Insert name I can't remember,) this is Flynt. I need to make a report." The man pauses with bated breath awaiting for a sound to emanate from the stone.
(It was a gnome named Nesben Dimplunis. Typically a sending stone allows you to send a short message to the holder of the other stone. Then they may reply. I'll allow here that you contact and do not send the real message until they 'pick up' the call so to speak. But then you only get one message and will only get one reply.)
"Yes, Nesben here. You have a report Flynt McGraw? Go on with it!"
"My friends, I would like to wait at least another day to hear from our half-orc companion. If we hear nothing, I think we should try sneaking into Leilatha's fortress. If Rahkeshi does reply, and asks us to wait, then we can see about scouting the satyr village or returning to the Harengons, or infiltrating Alvahollow or whatever else you think best. This is my opinion, I am open to discussion."
Elyria nods. "Yes, wait for Aelric to return first, then decide our next course of action." She says, curious over what Flynt will have to tell them about the Raiments of Nature.
"We have the cloak, but we need a detailed description of the rest of the Rainments and their function. Also will the compass point me to the next piece. We have located Rakeshi and are planning a rescue." Flynt sets the stone down and waits for a response.
"What!? Why are you rescuing Rahkeshi? Please report tomorrow. The Raiments consist of: armor, cloak, crown, boots, staff, bracelet, amulet, and feather charm. Oh, and evidently a pearl. Can't go into too much detail on each of them. But they have some connection to the World Tree, Yggdrasil. Some powers are said to revolve around the Eagle, Nidhogg, and Ratatosk. That's about..."
(OOC So... we seem to have stalled. Is the story waiting on us to make a big decision of some sort? It is unclear... )
(I was waiting on Flynt's response. Then Aelric's return - which I will post in a bit. But then, yes, the group needs to decide on a course of action. And I presume Flynt will share what he heard.)
Flynt repeats the message allowed as he hears it in his head. He goes on to say after,
"Well not much to go on but at least we know a little more than we did. I will craft a short message for tomorrow. Anything specific I should ask? I will explain that Rakeshi has been indentured into a year of servitude but we're working on it. Oh and of course that we may be facing a coven of hags."

"Best way to make 'em allies is to help them out of a jam. I suggest we go see what that smoke was all about. " says Flynt
(OCC: I'm correct about it being more smoke than just a couple cooking fires, right?)
