 Assessing the situation and seeing that there is a dragon at the end of the corridor they are in Mal backs up some steps and then aims at the knight and fires a couple of bolts into him.

Sneak Attack on 1st hit: 9

Two crossbow bolts slam into the Gith closest to the group, sending blood spraying against the wall behind him. Clutching one of the bolts with his hand he gasps in pain as necrotic energy seeps out from the wounds. 

The dragon opens its mouth and lets out a high pitched screeching roar that echoes painfully down the hall.  Then it clambers forward, tucking it's wings so it can fit down the hallway, and rushes through the wall of light.  The odor of sulphur and pumice waft into the hallway ahead of the large beast whose eyes lock on Kari's...the first enemy in its way, her long polearm waving dangerously before her.  It attempts to pull up short of her but it misjudges the large orcs reach and her weapon slashes out three times, two of the blows slicing through the thick red scales of the dragon and sending sizzling blood splattering to the floor. The creature, wounded, gets a look of pure malevolence, and its eyes flicker to the badly wounded Gith knight in the midst of the group, before sucking in a deep breath...and exhaling a plume of flame that fills the hallway. 

Everyone: DC 17 Dex Save : 60 fire damage, save for half.

As the lava hot fire permeates the air, the Gith has a brief scream and then drops to the ground, a smoking ruin. 

The fire flickers all around Zendrak who grimaces and comes through it with smoke pouring from his body...but also a light haze of energy surrounding him like a nimbus. 

As the fire clears, you hear something further...the not too distant cries of other dragons somewhere within this place screeching out....followed by one particularly loud one that seems to shake the very ground you're upon. 

Zendrak looks about and mutters, "One of those days I suppose...." and then his eyes fill with blue crackling energy and his muscles seem to ripple with some arcane energy. He advances towards the dragon, his two handed blade out and humming with energy.

Kurik, Mordekai, and Kari can all go.

Stones endurance to reduce damage by 4

Kurik drops concentration on the wall or light after that massive burn.  He figures at least the dragon was wall enough. He rushed forward with sword in two hand and chopped at the dragon, swiping out at whatever limb and bulk he could reach.

Move: move up to dragon

Bonus action cast faster to teleport back to his original position

If either strike crits, will drop a smite into it otherwise save it

Mordekai will drop concentration on the Faerie Fire affecting the Knight at the far end, and turn his concentration to Hex on the dragon instead (1st level).

3 Eldritch Blasts at the dragon:

Attack: 31 Damage: 16

Attack: 26 Damage: 13

Attack: 23 Damage: 13

Then he'll move forward a little, stepping over the corpse of the Knight in the corridor - just to spread us out a little... not that it'll have much effect against a cone.

Rolling extra crit damage on that first hit: 7

Kari's allies are quick to help.  Buzzing, crackling blasts of energy fly past her from their newest ally, Mordekai....each one striking the dragon sending jarring strikes against the dragon's body...staggering it....while Kurik leaps into action next to her, his blade sweeping into the dragons flesh, his second blow glancing off....just before he vanishes with a faint pop, returning to his previous spot.  The dragon is bleeding and looks injured but the massive thing is far from dead.

Kari's action!

Kari Dex Save: 20

As her skin burns she moves to swing again, hacking away at the dragon as she yells "We came to talk, but if you just want to fight then that's what you'll get!"

Attack 1: 12 Damage: 14 Slashing, 3 Rage

Attack 2: 16 Damage: 7 Slashing, 3 Rage

Bonus action Pole attack: 13 Damage: 8 Bludgeoning, 3 Rage

Extra Effects:
-Ancestral Protectors - The first creature I hit has disadvantage on attacks against other targets, others have resistance to damage from that creature, until the start of my next turn
-Slasher - reduce a creature's speed by 10 until the start of my next turn
-Slasher - On a critical hit the target has disadvantage on all attacks until the start of my next turn

A host of semi-transparent orcs seem to swarm around Kari, harrying the dragon as she swings her weapon.  The first blow bounces off of the things thick hide, but the second and third both score solid hits as the dragon squirms under the onslaught. 

The wall of light evaporates, as does the glowing Faerie fire...leaving everyone's eyes sparkling with the after images of the bright light. 

The gith seems to be done rubbing his eyes clear and blinks up at the group fighting the dragon, then he begins jogging forward.  How he hopes to pass by the girth of the dragon within the hallway is unclear, but right as he arrives at the dragons rear end he vanishes in a cloud of silver....and then appears standing near to Zendrak and Mordekai.  It's the Tiefling that he decides to target however...swinging his two handed silver sword twice at Mordekai. 

Attack on Mordekai: 11 Damage: 22   (slashing + psychic)

Attack on Mordekai: 11 Damage: 18  (slashing + psychic)

If the blade strikes, the cut from the huge sword is bad enough, but screeching voices seem to howl in your head with each blow. 

Mal's turn!

Swearing under her breath for not just finishing the job earlier and now stuck in this situation, especially with a red dragon way too close for her liking, Mal startles a bit as the 2nd knight appears winging at at Mordekai.

She shifts her aim and then begins firing at freshly appearing knight.

Sharpshooter H. Crossbow: Attack: 29 Damage: 27 Necrotic Damage: 10

Sneak Attack on 1st hit: 6

 Precision Attack on 1st hit: 6 adds to hit.

Precision Attack on 2nd Hit: 3 adds to hit.

[OOC: and once again the forums screwed everything up, the correct rolls are as follows, sort of cauz I don't remember what the damage was for most of it, but will retype what I remember.

1st To Hit 14 plus precision of 1 for a total of 15 to hit.

2nd to hit 14 plus precision of 7 for a total of 21 to hit.

Sneak Attack Damage is 10.

I do not remember what the 1st damage was but let me roll again: 24 Necrotic: 10

2nd Damage: 26 Necrotic: 8

A bolt slams into the Gith warrior who grunts in pain.  Then the dragon begins backing away...

Kari is quick to take the opportunity to strike at the retreating dragon.

Bardic inspiration if the dice roll between 7-11, or add to the damage roll if my original roll hits: 7

The dragon backs away, and receives a harsh slash for his troubles. Shrieking in pain he backs away just far enough, still harried by the swarming orc warrior spirits, and then once again opens it's mouth.  A jet of fire erupts from its mouth, washing across only Kari and Zendrak.....

DC 17 Dex save : 50  fire damage.

Zendrak save : 18.   28
