It's weird... as standoffish as she was when grilling you about your reason for being here, she's completely flipped and is being genuinely pleasant to whoever this is. Stena must just be one of those folks that are hard to get on their good side, but once you do, you've got a friend for life. Either that or something weird is going on.

"Hey boss? There's some of those flat, fishy things with the tails under the boat... you wan to take a look?"

"Oh, I know, buddy, maybe there's someone else on board that needs a bath? Or someone who you've been wanting to prank? Sneak in real quiet and pick them up and toss them in the water! Wouldn't that be funny?"

They show you a small school of finned creatures clustered under the boat, with one single one holding position ten feet or so off the side of the boat.
The school is circling under the boat, while the one to the side is at the surface of the water, facing towards where you can see Stena and yourself. Each of the creatures is maybe two or three feet from wingtip to wingtip.
They are the same sort of creature that your familiar was avoiding under the docks back in Sloobludop, the creatures that made quick work of the duergar body that was thrown in.
((Will give Stena a chance to do somethings, but you can make some sort of Knowledge check if you'd like.))

"Prank..."
Stena looks thoughtful and then her face clears,
"Oh, aye got someone who needs a bath in mind. Get ready!"
To Neth she says,
"Ye stay here and be quiet. Aye don't want ye messing this up."
Stena will then stealth downstairs a few steps before turning back to tackle Neth over and in.
Stealth: 7
Athletics for the tackling: 22
((Sorry about that, too many spoilers and too tired of a brain. I was wondering why Stena's friend was talking about the ceiling, but they're best buds so it didn't matter. Edited this, rolls were 17 and 10 if they change.))
As Stena impacts him, Neth manages to grab hold of her and they both go overboard, splashing into the water as the tiefling cries out, waking the lighter sleepers on the boat.
The water is cool, but not frigid as the pair of you struggle to get your bearings, managing to surface and tread water (assuming you both know how to swim, at least).
Ten feet away a toothy maw and some glistening eyes set in a flat plane of slick dark skin, a long tail trailing behind.
"Hey buddies! Isn't the water nice? Who wants to race over to that rock? I'll give you a head start!", it says through a series of clicks and burbles that you somehow understand.
@Neth:
"Bold plan boss! Take the fight to them! I like it! Now what?"

Galingal pops open his eyes and rolls out of the lotus position he was sitting in. His hand goes to his face, rubbing where the dream raven had pecked at him. He's not surprised when he sees the speck of blood on his hand.
But before he thinks more of the dream, he stands and moves to the deck, seeking the source of the strange call for help. Was it the boy?
Not seeing anyone on deck, Galingal goes to the edge to look around.
The rock is a stalagmite sticking up above the water, maybe 50 ft away. Stena is making good time, well ahead of her good buddy and that tiefling! Figures the new guy isn't good at swimming. Jimjar's gonna be bummed he missed out on a betting opportunity.

Stena's friend is going to be so happy, it has been so long since they hung out.
As Neth is tackled from behind, he screams out, in a surprisingly shrill voice “Help!”

Galingal, the drow child is sitting in the corner of the bed, knees drawn up under his chin. He seems to have been watching you warily.
In the water, you spot Stena and the blue tiefling, Neth, who appear to be in a conversation with some sort of strange fish creature?

"Hey pal! That rock? Aye'm a strong swimmer, ye'll regret the head start!"
Stena starts swimming.

Galingal sighs at the sight of Stena and Neth in the water. Nothing good is coming of this, he thinks.
He calls back over his shoulder, "Lia. Problem. Stena. Tiefling in water."
Galingal grabs one of the barbed fishing spears and the net.
"What doing in water?" Galingal calls to Stena.
