Galingal heads up to the four coffins they found earlier with the bodies of the spectres. He takes a look at the gems that were in the skulls and decides to risk prying them out.
Petmailer will peek in the extra room, just to check and leave no sarcophagus unturned. If he looks at the remaining area and sees nothing, he quickly catches up with the rest.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Stone blocks standing against the western and eastern walls are carved with niches, inside which rest a dozen clay jars. In the middle of the room rests a wide stone sarcophagus atop a black marble bier. The lid of the sarcophagus is inlaid with dust-covered mosaics depicting great floating cities high above a beautiful landscape.

Galingal watches Petmailer look at the last room, looking more to the walls and ceiling for any more wraiths that might appear if the sarcophagus is disturbed.
Petmailer turns to Galingal, saying “Should I open it? Do they all contain magical swords and jewelry? I have no appetite for fighting additional spirits, but we don’t want to leave anything behind..”

Lia converses telepathically with the sword before opening the crude bag she has it stowed in, the light of an illuminated pebble shining forth before she closes it and holds the hilt in front of her, no blade extended.
She gives Galingal and Petmailer a nod.

Petmailer nods to Galingal, thanking for the assist and he strains his sinewy arms, lifting the lid off the sarcophagus. His eyes stray to Lia, hoping she has the magical sword ready if anything appears. “Hhhrrrgggh!” and a scraping sound, he lifts the top of the sarcophagus off, then looks to what lies within.

The lid is easily shoved to the side, and within is a painted statue of what presumably Brysis looked like in life. There is a wheezing voice that calls forth in a language you don't recognize, but it begins repeating the same phrases, then fractured versions of them, before lapsing into silence. When the voice first spoke, each of you present in the room felt a chill clutch at your heart, but its grasp weakened rapidly, fading to nothing as the voice goes silent, leaving you in the ornately painted tomb.

Petmailer weathers the chill down his spine, then looks inside the sarcophagus, looking around the statue for anything that he might have missed, any additional treasure before they leave this place. “Let’s be gone from this place. Even though she’s dead it gives me the creeps.”

The painted statue seems a permanent fixture, and the jars placed around it, upon inspection, contain withered remnants of what might be organs. There is a distinct lack of value in the room, while he's not sure what to make of the voice and the unnerving sensation he felt, Petmailer surmises that this tomb is a decoy, especially given their confrontation with the undead wraith and her bones below in the hidden chamber.

Spiderbait gives a considering nod, and shows a measure of wisdom by not talking further.
Galingal joins Stena and the goblin, and obtains three mouth gems, the fourth being exploded by a wild magic surge previously.

Galingal shrugs at Stena. "Could buy us a better guide"
Once the meat has been collected, Galingal is ready to leave the tomb and look for a safe spot to shelter.
((There's one room you haven't looked in yet, wishing to do that, or bouncing?))
Yuk Yuk with some help from Jimjar and Neth have peeled a few pounds of thin gold from the surface of the sarcophagus.

Galingal nods at Lia.
"Get the sword ready," Galingal says, indicating Lia should have the sword out and ready to flash at whatever comes out of the sarcophagus.
Once Lia is in position, Galingal looks to Petmailer. "The sword thought other one was leader. Anything in here should be easy for it."

Stena pokes her head down and says, with about average annoyance,
"What's going on down here? If he are doing stupid things warn meh so I can be ready."
She then turns with a huff and cuts with renewed angry vigour at the cow.
