The tunnel leads up and out, and Galingal, along with the two goblins, find themselves away from the webbing of the Silken Paths. If the spiders are described to the goblins, they recognize them and given their general easy going demeanors, that they seem relieved that everyone got away speaks to the danger of the 'gnarly disappearing spiders'.
On a 13+ Nature or Arcana (adv to Stena):
The more common name is phase spiders, and they have the ability to step back and forth between the Ethereal Plane... hopefully they've been left behind, otherwise they could be watching right now...
As the tunnel joins up with a larger tunnel that then opens up into a larger chamber, there is a small grove of mushrooms, and beyond that some of the glowing crystal formations. The path wends its way through both grove and crystals, and the goblins assure you that the duergar city is only an hour or so beyond that.

"Well, they aren't friendly, if that's what you're asking. But they totally are down to trade, just gotta watch your back... As long as you enter through the gates as visitors or traders, should be no problem, bruh!"
Jimjar pipes up, "From what I've heard, they love their regulations and rules, as long as we don't run afoul of that, we should be fairly safe from the city and its citizens."

Galingal watches the two goblins carefully if the group agrees to camp here before heading to the city. They don't need to get this far only to be double crossed by these two.
At this point, only a few of them are actually escaped slaves. She doubts the duergar for all their faults, give a fork about drow claims of ownership. Unless they can use it themselves.
She watches the goblins for a while more before trying to sit somewhere dark and rest.
"Hmm. Yeah. "Gnarly." Petmailer stares at the goblins, taking in what they are saying about the Duergar city. "So.. as long as we follow their rules, they won't try to enslave us themselves? Really..." Petmailer pauses, thinking it over. He sits down and rests, examining his wounds and looking over his body, seeing a bunch of dark bruises. He massages his legs and looks for any cuts. ((Short rest here?))

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"I mean... they really don't like drow. So that might take some talking on your part. Don't really like other elves either... Not too fond of surface dwarfs, I think. Or most surface races. I mean, they're pretty unpleasant, but they are business folk, and we've got the stuff from the tomb, right? That's totally gotta be worth them letting us in."
"Totally."
"I don't think they'd try to enslave visitors unless they had 'good reason'... however they might define that. Yuk Yuk is right, the City of Blades is a commerce hub, if they were in the practice of enslaving everyone who they let in through the gates, trade would dry up pretty fast. Five gold says someone tries though!", Jimjar muses.
They party flees up the tunnel, soon joining back up with Lia, Neth and returning to see what the commotion is, the two goblin scouts.
"A rat that was totally NOT a rat? Gnarly, bruh.", Yuk Yuk says, seemingly a bit disappointed he didn't get to see the creature.
"Totally gnarly.", a similarly bummed Spiderbait agrees.

"Should keep moving," Galingal says. "Before spiders come back."
He keeps his eyes roving as they move to look for trouble until they can get somewhere safe to rest (Perception: 25 )
Stena looks like she's going say something to the goblins then just bites it back and settles on scowling at them as they move on.
Petmailer holds his tongue, pressing forward like the rest of them, hoping to get to a place where they are safe and can take a brief rest.

Stena pushes herself into darkness at every opportunity and jumps at every noise.
So not much change from the normal.
At hearing the city is close Stena asks,
"What kind of welcome can be expected?"

Galingal looks at the rag tag collection of clothes and equipment the group has.
"Don't look like traders," Galingal says. "Visitors maybe."
He then takes a deep breath, feeling the extent of his injuries.
"Should rest before entering city," Galingal suggests.
"Yeah, you guys totally look like escaped slaves!", Yuk Yuk chuckles, a shadow of a thought crossing his face before being replaced with a grin.

"We rest first, then go in. A duergar's rules aren't worth the stone they are written on."
She spits to add emphasis to what she thinks of them/their rules.

You get the sense his remark was just kinda off hand, but that he wondered a bit if you are slaves, before such worries departed his surfer brain.

Galingal would vote for a long rest. Don’t know what to expect when they enter the city and would rather be at full strength for that.
The brief spiel makes Kolose think for a long moment. Is he an escaped convict? It... Doesn't sound right, but... Hmm.
"We shouldn't advertise what we found too much, I think. But we should have plenty to get everything we need to find a way to the surface, no?"
"...How much do they hate some of these races? Depending, it might be good if one group sticks outside, at least at first?"
"Probably hate drow most... Everyone else not far behind. Maybe deep gnome least?"

Kolose's brow furrows while he searches deep in the recesses of his mind if he'd know which of their group should be cautious, or not...
