The duergar looks her up and down, his silent judgment seeming to last weeks, before he grunts.
"Yeah, got some long bolts.", he says pointing at a wooden box full of fletched arrows next to a much more ornate stone chest in which crossbow bolts are displayed.
"Six copper apiece, or twenty for a gold."

Kolose tilts his head. He's got the sense that math isn't this merchant's strongest suit.
Or he would have, if he could have understood it. He is gonna take a short break if he gets a chance to cast comprehend languages as a ritual, though that might not be while they are stuck in the market and investigating everything. He seems almost shy as he turns to some of his party members.
"If any of you know where to ask or find something that sells scrolls, I think I could hopefully find some very useful things."
Petmailer quietly whispers to Stena, “Do they have eighty more… here’s three more gold.” He subtly slips her three gold pieces and stands back, quietly.
"That's far too low! My missus'd toss me out by the beard if I sold arrows that cheap! I'll not budge from a gold and a half per twenty! Eighty arrows would come to two gold and five silvers, and not a copper cheaper!", the dwarf says angrily, one of his eyes drifting towards the ceiling before snapping back onto Stena.

Stena pays the duergar five gold and scoops up the 8 bundles of arrows, taking a few moments to check that the bundles actually have 20 arrows a piece. She has concerns about this shopkeep's ability to count.
She'll then quickly depart, and once they are out of direct sight of the shopkeeper pass Petmailer his arrows and five silver back.
She looks like she is about to say something to Petmailer, then looks back at the shopkeep's stall and just shakes her head in annoyed befuddlement.
She get Gal's attention and nod towards the orcs that were buying and start heading over with the intention of offloading some items.
There is definitely something off about him... you didn't get the sense that he was drunk, if anything his eyes didn't have the unfocused glaze of too much drink, and from what you could tell he wasn't slurring. He might be on something else, or have some else the matter with him. If an issue of the mind, perhaps a partial lobotomiz--- where did that idea even come from? Certainly if there is something the matter with him he ought to get checked out by a cleric.

Stena moves closer to Gal to get his attention to head to the orcs that were buying and selling (unless there was a less terrible option, like gnomes or dead rats buying and selling).
While there are other vendors, from what Stena can tell at a glance, most are here to sell, not to buy... though that might depend on the offers made. The orcs are opening buying gear and calling out to folks with offers. You'd likely be able to offload stuff quicker with the orcs, but may be able to get a better price elsewhere with a bit of work.
Galingal heads over to check out the orcs.
"Buy good stuff! Good price, nice, friendly! You sell? Fifteen gold, I buy! Give good home.", the orc says, pointing at Galingal's rapier.

Stena gives the duergar a faint nod back then she inspects the items, ignoring the question. She does take a step away from Petmailer, because Drow.
In Dwarven she asks,
"Arrows?"
The duergar looks her up and down, his silent judgment seeming to last weeks, before he grunts.

Stena picks up an arrow and judges it with narrowed eyes before returning it and responding,
"80 for 3 gold 5 silver."
She counters.
((I will put a persuasion here against my better judgement given Stena's stats: 12))
"Eighty for three gold.", he counters shrewdly.

Stena's brow crinkles a moment in a flash of confusion,
"Three for eighty."
She quickly agrees.
Stupid duergar.

"Deal. 2 gold and five silver for eighty, twice."

Stena takes the deal before it changes, and when she looks back, the dwarf seems to be arguing with another customer more confused that she was.

Kolose watches the spectacle with some confusion himself. He's half expecting to look back and see the duergar collapsing from a stroke...
Kolose, having a bit more curiosity than mere gratitude at a good deal... give me an insight check.

Kolose seems to pause for a moment. He should say something, shouldn't he? But if it's really a magical affliction or something.
(Kolose is casting detect magic. Using his class ability to cast it instantly as a ritual)
Stena moves closer to Gal to get his attention to head to the orcs that were buying and selling (unless there was a less terrible option, like gnomes or dead rats buying and selling).
Gal nods at Stena and heads over to check out the ice and what they have on hand and to see what they might buy from the group.
((That said, Galingal doesn’t have anything to sell in his inventory - maybe a spare dagger. Anyone else?))

Galingal realizes he really has nothing to offer for sale other than a spare dagger.
He holds up the cleaner of the two. "The rapier not for sale, but this is."
While waiting for the orcs to offer a price, he looks at what they have for sale.
