Following her ferocious initial onslaught, Tresvar responds to the hobgoblin leader's counter with a massive strike from her longsword. The sword swings down in an expertly aimed strike. As it hits, Tresvar feels a holy surge and the blade cleaves into the splint armor, creasing it and penetrating doing substantial damage to the flesh beneath.
Serena's green beam of eldritch force blasts the ugly head right off the hobgoblin leader, his body twitching but still standing for a few moments before deciding to fall on it's knees and the headlesslong to the ground in front of Tresvar together with it's smoldering head rolling up beside it, still having an expression of surprise.
(OOC: Sorry, not used to this, will get better ;-)
"Grumpypants" wrestles with the moral implications of this exercise. On the one hand, these hobgoblins would surely resume their attacks, trying to kill his friends if they awaken. On the other hand, they are asleep and helpless, unable to defend themselves. On the other, other hand, they seem to have back-doored their way into a possible peaceful resolution with the goblins, or at least a path toward one. Killing these two brutes by dumping them down a ... magic purple well?... might allow them to not have to kill a bunch more goblins.
In the end, "Grumpypants" grimly helps the shaman roll the hobgoblins into the shaft.... and immediately feels horrible about it.

The shaman and Banjo-Grumpypants huff and puff and grumble in goblin as they roll one, then the other hobgoblin into the shaft

The shaman stands up, straightening her robes. She goes over to the throne, sits down and kicks the leaders headless body which thumps against the large chest.
Her mouth cracks open in a craggly, yellow toothed grin and she turns to Tresvar saying in common: "Much better. Now, how can Durbuluk tribe help you who have restored Grenl to power?"

Tresvar merely glances at the hobgoblins being pushed down the shaft. “Where does that pit go?” She asks. Then she turns her attention to checking the leader’s body for keys, or anything else of interest or value, assuming Serena helps..
Tresvar finds a potion of healing and two vials of antitoxin. She also finds an iron key which is worked with similar artistry to that born by the iron chest the corpse is leaning against. In examining the key about his neck, she notices that the splint armor the hobgoblin wore, has the Hercule family crest on it, as does a gold ring which is jammed onto one of the corpse's fingers.
"Ahem." says Grenl, "what are you looking for?", now realizing that there is only one Dragonborn here, not an army as previously threatened.
She turns to Banjo-Grumpypants, saying in goblin:
"Tell our tribe we are free. Tell them to join us here."
"We are looking for three humans that came this way some time ago, and we now expect help from the new leader of Durbuluk tribe with finding and retrieveing them." Serena says to the goblin shaman. Persuasion if needed: 25 rolled with advantage if help action is given, otherwise go with first roll.
"Grumpypants" quickly races back down the hall they came from before too many questions are asked and he blows this.
Once in the hall and out of earshot, he draws his wand and casts silent image.
In the throne room, you all see (but don't hear :) ) a female silver dragonborn, in heavy chain armor and wielding two hand axes, walk in from the hall, survey the room to see that Tresvar has things under control here, and then back out into the hall again, disappearing from view and never to be seen again.

"Oh." says Grenl, looking down at the body of the defeated hobgoblin, absentmindedly kicking him still. "This Durnn. He had humans. Belak demanded he send them to him. Durnn got mad at one. Only two were then sent." She looks up with a hesitant smile.
Startled by the other Dragonborn and Serena's interrogation, Grenl hesitates...
"Errrr."
"Well, Durnn bad... very unreasonable. Stupid brute. Easily offended." She looks at Serena to gauge how her story is being taken, "he get violent very easily... very easily..."
"Yessss... well, was one of those times. Durnn got mad. Break human. Human dead. Durnn take his stuff. Feel scared. Send others to Belak"
Grenl starts looking nervous, understanding that her response is not pleasing the adventurers.
"Humans look so much alike. Hard to tell. He was fighter. Wore that armor." She points to the armor on Durnn's corpse. "Humans said their names were Talgen, Sharwyn, and Sir Braford. I think Sharwyn and Sir Braford sent to Belak. Talgen," she pauses a moment, "down there," she points down the shaft that was the final stop for the hobgoblins only moments before.
Banjo will pop his head through one of the doors into the chamber with the big goblin party they heard earlier. How many are in there, etc.

Serena's blood freezes as she hears the name Talgen, the son of Lady Kerowyn. She continues with a mix of anger and sorrow. "Then you will help us free Sharwyn and Sir Braford. But taking care of Belak would of course make you the undisputed master of this part of the citadel." She adds.
tresvar looks at the splint mail. “Probably should bring this with too..”. she says She starts removing it from the body. “Hey- thanks! Makes it easier to get off with no head!” She smiles.

The shaman looks delighted at the demise of the hobgoblin. She tugs at Banjo-as-goblin saying in goblin:
"Help me with these brutes."
Indicating she wants to dump the sleeping hobgoblins down the shaft.
