Araynia looks at the mess of orc bodies. "We should perhaps get our wounded comfortably within this chamber." , she glances sceptically at the bedding used by the ogre and the wolves. "Then we might want to do something about all those bodies... A closed door may not attract much attention, but a pile of corpses certainly will. "

Serena nods and starts with getting Tresvars bedroll on the floor beside her, and, presumably with som help, she moves Tresvars body over on the bedroll so that Livia may better tend to the warriors wounds. She then starts to move the bodies of the orcs, again presumably with help, into a pile on the other side of the room, then closing the door. "So, we rest here then, at least until Tresvar comes to." She says, rolling out her bedroll by the far wall from the door, trying to make herself comfortable.

Banjo dutifully lies down with the rest of the dead Orcs. At some point during the first hour, he transforms back into his usual, gnomish self.

Without much other way to assist the party in this moment, Araynia helps moving the wounded, and clearing the enemies bodies. Once Serena closes the door to the chamber she asks, "Should we search their bodies, and maybe this room? Also, can Flappy remain sentry the whole rest or should we take turns at watch?"

"Yes, thanks Araynia, getting a bit sloppy here." Serena says with a smile, starting to serach the room, including the dead bodies for interesting stuff. Investigation: 7 "And yes, perhaps we could take watches since we don't know how long Tresvar will take to recover from her wounds." She adds as she is looking around the room. "I can take first watch as soon as I'm finished with this. You can all catch some shut-eye now."
Banjo snores softly and uninterrupted. One he completes his long rest, he asks Serena and Livia to confirm his recollection of the fight and offers to take the last watch.

Those who search the room find that the Great Ulfe kept his hoard in two large wooden chests against the south wall. There in they find 440 gp, 1,600 sp, a bottle of some sort of potion, and a beautiful, glistening, sharp rapier.
Each of the bodies have sacks of mundane items looted from the country side as well as some coins, also likely looted. The total found is 129 sp and 26 gp.
In addition the large orc is wearing plate armor and has a key and a potion of healing on him.
All the orcs have great-axes.
Half-way through the long rest, Tresvar stirs... awaking briefly from her torpor. She slips back into healing sleep.
During the night four orcs pass outside in the hall, but do not come into the room where the party rests. They continue on to the bunk room where the large orc and four others had been. They look tired.
(Actually I think we already found this stuff, see post # 1701 :-) I think Serena took the rapier +1 for now. Are you still keeeping track of treasure Banjo?)
When everyone eventually had their rest Serena gets up again, ready to move on. "That ogre should be far away by now, right Livia?" She says befor turning to the others. "So what now? Do you think we can convince the 4 tired orcs that arrived to just pack it up and leave considering we have defeated their leaders?"

((Ah thank you.. it was such a long battle I forgot that you had time before it began to search = items from the defeated orcs are still new finds however.))
When Livia wakes, the magical connection to the Ogre is already gone. She's not sure whether it was gone before she fell asleep, or the opposite. "It should be a few hours away, at least."
As she prepares her magical defenses, Livia considers Serena's question. "Maybe, maybe not. What was our goal here anyway? I mean, our part of the deal with the Dwarves?"
"I suppose our deal with those dwarves is that we could rest in their territory while investigating the other parts of this complex and we could only take as much treasure as we could carry, which sounded reasonable to me. Regarding the orcs I believe both the dwarves and people of Blasingdell just wants them out of here and as far away as possible."Serena answers. "So, how would you all prefer us to deal with the remaining orcs?" She says, turned to the team.
[I think this is the sum of all treasure obtained since we started this dungeon:
2034 sp
461 gp
Orc plate armor
Key
+1 Rapier
Healing potion
Unidentified potion (The potion is separated into brown, silver, and gray layers resembling bands of stone. Shaking the bottle fails to mix the colors.)
2 flasks of alchemists fire
I think that is everything. Banjo is carrying the 2 alchemists fire flasts, Serena has the rapier... not sure about anything else, or if we are taking the Orc plate armor or not.]

((Tresvar can probably use the orc armor as she is bulkier than the other humanoids... she may want to have it tightened up a bit at an armorer when she has a chance, but for now she certainly can swap into it.))
Banjo closes his spellbook and looks over at his companions. "Pleased to see you are up and about, no worse for wear, Tresvar. A fight in close quarters with no way out against a marauding band of Orcs... let us not try anything like that, ever again." He glances at Serena. "Although, that is twice now that a fake fire wall has fooled them. Let's keep that little trick in mind... fool them once, shame on us. Fool them twice, then maybe they are just too stupid for their own good."

"Hey, that looks pretty good on you Tresvar."Serena says with a smile, circling the the mighty dragonborn to check on her new armor.
"Yes, a nifty trick I will likely use again, and as long as we don't run into the same orcs I have a feeling I will be able to use it for some effect at least." She says to Banjo with a wink and a smile.
