"Making your way around the room you notice there is an occupant in the room on the north side, furthest to the left. The floor of the 2nd floor is covered in thick carpets to help with sound dampening with plenty of colorful stains throughout. Most of the noise you hear is coming from the staircase and sounds like normal tavern sounds, cursing, yelling, singing."
"I'll check him out. The Leonin is Elphti, he's with me. So is the loxodon."
I walk over to the others and say "okay so there's someone staying in that room over there, we should check them out. And Alan, the bar tender/owner, should know who rented the room if we wanna check that out before confronting them."
"The less we provoke in this place the better. Best to ask Alan about the occupants. I'll stay here to keep an eye on things if someone wants to go down to ask."
While rubbing a large fang covered in runes on a cord around my neck. "Although, it didnt seem like the barkeep was much of a talker."
Okay. I'd like to stay and keep watch as well, you (pointing at the loxodon), you wanna see if the barkeeper will give you some answers about the rooms occupant?
"Me?" Nashwa knew that Sabriel was pretty clear when choosing her for this task, so she didn't wait for an answer. "You talked to him, right? What method works on this guy?" She had very little in her pocket, so she really hoped that the answer wasn't going to be 'money' (even though that was a better answer than intimidation).
I hand over 4 silver in a pouch. "This might help. Take Wolar with you." Wolar pokes his head out and then fly onto Nashwa's shoulder. "We can keep in contact through her, in case things go south down there first."
"Bribery? Perfect," Nashwa said as she took the pouch. She lightly poked at Wolar with her trunk before heading down to the bar. She kept the pouch out of sight and smacked both hands down on the bar to get Alan's attention. Maybe her size would work to her advantage before having to spend any money (doubtful).
"On your way down to the bar the tavern is filled with a ghostly lamentation, the elvish voice sings as the bar becomes completely silent save for her voice"
"O glinn- a glír -o Elturel -o nen, taur, a amon plural emyn i anor dawns bo hen crand cliffs a fields calen a still. Hi dór -o an-abiding gel bar -o i polodren a brave Renowned bui all, thar i realms, a never once a múl.

"As you reach the bar Alan stares past you as though he is deep in thought before being startled by your strong hands smacking the bar top, dropping the mug he was holding and looking shocked to see you"
"I need some information," she started, staring down the bartender. "I need to know who's staying in one of your rooms- second floor, north wall, first room from the left. If I find who I'm looking for quickly, the commotion that's coming will be a lot smaller." Was that true? No. Did she believe that? Also no. Did she hope Alan believed that? Hard yes.
"uumm Im not at liberty to disclose that, are they bothering you? That patron is paying for privacy and you will respect it"
"While answering you Alan appears to of mostly zoned out in thought again hardly paying attention to you and appears to be answering on autopilot"
"You also notice that the bar that had been loud and lively a couple minutes ago is almost completely silent, the sounds of indistinguishable prayers and whispers happening throughout the room."
As I'm waiting for Nashwa to get back I'm still watching and listening for anything unusual. I say to Elphti, "so when she gets back should we go check out that guy in the back room?"
The only thing you hear for the moment is the elvish singing and the tavern go quiet except for the singing. The singing comes from everywhere and no where.

Give me a perception check please

For Sabriel:
"Making your way around the room you notice there is an occupant in the room on the north side, furthest to the left. The floor of the 2nd floor is covered in thick carpets to help with sound dampening with plenty of colorful stains throughout. Most of the noise you hear is coming from the staircase and sounds like normal tavern sounds, cursing, yelling, singing."
I walk over to Tarina and ask if she knows who is staying in that room.
"My guess is a guest, I don't know, I don't work here. Ask Alan. I'm more worried about the pirates coming to kill me"
I just wanna make sure they aren't a spy or one of the pirates. In waiting. Where is Alan, so I can ask him.
"If it was a spy how would you know? He could be a spy"
"Tarina points towards the leonin in the corner"
"He seems shifty enough, anyways Alan's the tavern owner, hes usually behind the bar."
"I'll check him out. The Leonin is Elphti, he's with me. So is the loxodon."
I walk over to the others and say "okay so there's someone staying in that room over there, we should check them out. And Alan, the bar tender/owner, should know who rented the room if we wanna check that out before confronting them."
"What do you guys think?"

Nashwa, Elphti is correct, bribery is his language. Just see if he knows who is renting the room, if anyone is renting the room.
"Bribery? Perfect," Nashwa said as she took the pouch. She lightly poked at Wolar with her trunk before heading down to the bar. Elphti, I think something is up. Do you hear that singing? The tavern is really quiet. I'll go stand near Tarina, you guard the stairs.
