OOC:B at this point can I assume Truth has told me anything else of interest happening

Grianne beams a healthy smile at Eldin Thank you. She rummages through her stuff that Eldin is holding to find her coin purse. Her gear is surprisingly clean. Ah, there it is. After she find her money, she druidcrafts her robes into a satchel to easily carry the rest of her gear. So now i give them money for the dress correct? Are you getting one too ?

"Nah. I'm good. Let's what we can do about you learning to write." Eldin walks out with Grianne and tries to find place where he can buy some books to teach children common as well as some children's fairy tale books.

Eldin has no trouble finding the library and the bookish girl at the counter there is happy to help find the books.

Marvarax, "How long have you been out? Little occurred in the night. The battles continue in the arena."

Eldin buys the books along with a notebook similar to his own. I assume the total costs around 3 gold or something. He them turns to Grianne and says, "So, you ready to start learning how to read?"

An apprehensive and insecure Yes. slips past Grianne's lips. She takes full notice of the books You  called these books? What a bittersweet thing. To take the life of a tree, yet reshape it into something with new purpose. I may never get used to such things.

Eldin just stares at Grianne with an awkward smile. He doesn't know how to respond to her comment. "Er... yeah. Well, they help people in a lot of ways. For one thing, books allow people to get a small glimpse in to tales and worlds that are impossible in real life." He notices his friend's unease so he clears his throat a bit. "How about we go to the forest to read these."

The slight melancholy leaves Grianne at the though of spending time in her beloved forest with closest friend. That would be wonderful.

Once they find a suitable place in the forest, Eldin will sit down and say, "Why don't I give you a demonstration as to why reading and writing is important." He picks up one of the fairy tale books and begins reading a short story to Grianne, "This story is called... (I have no idea what kind of stories exist in this world)"

Seating herself next to Eldin, she takes note of the pictures decorating the pages.  Eldin says its important so Grianne listens with all her focus.

( I may not know what story Eldin is telling but I guess I  can pick a random feel the story has? 3)

The story Eldin picked turned out to be about a hero who went on an epic adventure and did epic things. Kinda like Hercules I guess.

(Shoulda gone with Gronsel and Hettle. Two dwarven children find a house made of candy and ginger bread in the forest.)

Marvarax looks towards the door “I think we should probably get going, I promised Sora I would show her around town when we got back” Sora extends a hand to Truth “thank you”

"Sounds like you left during the championship match? Toren took the victory." Truth nods to Sora. "Certainly."

Marvarax rises off the table and heads to the door Sora following close behind, the dragonborn women seems excited. As they leave Marvarax turns back to Truth "When Eldin gets back tell him I'm interested in a job here at the glory"

When Eldin returns Truth relays the message.
