Liam waited and waited, but Lawrence said nothing. That wasn't what he expected. That wasn't what he wanted. He came all the way out here, as darkness begins to overtake the light of day, to answer the damned questions he went so far as to attack him in public to have him answer for.
"You had questions. You attacked me in the Glory to publicly interrogate me with no proof to your claims, like an idiot?"
Liam waited...no response. Not even a twitch. He was just...staring. Did he think that such an action would break him down? It felt like it was working, since this whole silent treatment was actually getting him angry.
"Say something."
No response.
"Do something."
No response.
"What do you want from me? A confession? Fine! I killed your sister! Is that enough for you? Is that what you wanted to hear?!"
Still nothing...Why isn't he doing anything? Why isn't he doing anything?! Do something! Hate me! Hurt me! Yell, bite, stab! SOMETHING! Talk!
Talk...
Talk.
Please.
...
...
...
Now why would you tell him anything?
Liam jumped away. From what, he didn't know. But it was there. It was...
It's alright...I am here to help you.
Liam didn't know what to think. He didn't know what to expect. He didn't know anything. He didn't know.
"Where are you?! Show yourself!"
No respo-
Suddenly Liam found himself looking deep into Lawrence's eyes...They were empty. They stared through him. Liam looked down, and found his hands shaking, and he wanted to scream. His hands gripped the handle too tightly. It was like they didn't want to let go, even when the red liquid dripped down to them.
Liam forced himself back, and looked at the sight. His axe had stuck the man to the tree...
"T-This can't be happening. This CAN'T be happening! Not again!"
Liam felt a throbbing in his head, and he shut his eyes and gripped tightly, letting out pained grunts.
It's not. Don't worry.
Liam looked up, and instead of Lawrence...it was his sister. That noble girl...She was there again. He remembered the sight clear. It was that which haunted his nightmares...She died in a similar way, with the axe right through her shoulder and heart...That was...That...
I protected you before, Liam.
Her mouth moved, and her voice came out, but that can't be. Someone had to have been casting an illusion on him!
You and your friends stood no chance, but I protected you. I gave you power beyond what you should not have had, if only for the briefest of moments.
The body moved, and ripped the axe out of itself. It melted away as it approached.
I can give you whatever you want...whatever you need. I can help you move on. If only you would let me.
It reached out to him, as if to touch his face. Liam knocked the arm away and backed up so suddenly he tripped over himself. The body adopted a look of disappointment.
Such a shame...But that is fine. You are not ready to decide. When you are. I will be here. I will always be there for you.
The world began to cave into itself, and the body as well.
I LO V
Liam has left.

Liam woke up. He was exactly where he was before...He must've dozed off waiting for Lawrence. He didn't know how much longer he'd wait. Perhaps he'll head back to town in a bit.

Lawrence notices that Liam had awoken. "Thank the Storyteller, you're not possessed. I'm sorry I didn't respond, I was going through a couple things when I saw you. Then you passed out and I almost didn't catch you. Before you ask, I wasn't going to let you split your head on a rock, even if I want you dead, which I kinda do, I'd rather it be by my hand, not by your demons. So I leaned you against the tree and kept training. I have two questions." He takes a deep breath and lets out a shaky sigh. A fire appears in his hand for a second before he closes his hand, putting it out. "Did you actually kill her, and if so, why? Why did you kill my sister, my sweet, innocent sister? She wouldn't hurt a fly, and you killed her. So I ask you again. WHY?" He shouts it at the man before breaking a bit and crying. "Why?"

Shmitty pulls his mask up to reveal his face. "Oh, hey! Sorry I forgot I had that on." Shmitty shows off his bare un collared neck with jazz hands. "Tada! Long story short,I broke my collar, the drow came, Basil let me die in my last arena match to fulfill the contract. There was a darkness? Then boom I'm back!"Shmitty looks over to Eldin and shoots him finger guns. "Sorry for any bad blood for contract work? I'm a professional you know the deal right?" Finally, Shmitty turns back to Grianne, "So...can a brotha get a button?"
Eldin nods again before saying, "I can understand how contracts can be. I think we're good."
Banjo Man walks back to the Greycastle lounge, looking rather burnt and soaked in pickle brine. He then flings open the door with the fury of a dying sun and orders a drink, pickle brine pouring out of his mouth.
Liam looked at Lawrence. The man seemed to be strange when it came to controlling emotions. Regardless, Liam had no choice but to answer. It had only been a day since his wanted poster cake up in this place, so was it truly a good idea to reveal anything? Perhaps not, but...
”If I told you ‘yes’, and provide a reason that you like, would that stop you from attacking people with the same name?”
Liam...didn’t know what happened. He didn’t mean to say those words. He was still trying to think up an answer to give. But try as he might, be felt his body just...not follow his command. No sign of surprise or confusion at his own words showed. It was just Liam’s body, looking at Lawrence in distaste, with the man inside not knowing what was happening with himself.

Liam was internally cursing his body to stop, but it kept going.
”Well, regardless of what’s true or not, I might as well give you what you want. A ‘confession’, I suppose. Yes. I killed her. Why? Because I’m a killer. Is that enough? Perhaps you would like me to give you something more like what you expected? Like denial. ‘No, I didn’t kill her! It was someone else! Liam’s body chuckled. Liam was simply confused.

Mortho is going to walk up to Zevryl and Marmaduke , leaning to marmaduke "Im full demon" aand ill look to Zevryl and say "hello! I am Morthos, we fought on opposite sides during our introductory fight. I had to introduce myself." Morthos grabs his shoulder and goes for a handshake, "Its rare to find someone with the infernal bloodline, where are from?"
"Zevryl Gaunaduar, from th' Glacierock Mountains, up to th' north. Wher're ye from?" He turns to Marmaduke. "Devil, specific'ly Levistus. Why're ye askin'?"
"Me? Many places.. Look I hope theres no hard feelings between us, fights a fight" Morthos will hand him Zevryl his cup and shift over 5 gold pieces, I hope to fight with you again. Devil Zevryl" Morthos heads out but with in the room, (sorry) Morthos will use thaumaturgy to make the ground tremor, cups of ale start to splatter, dust falls from the roof, Morthos shouts looking towards the patrons "Hear that? Sounds like a DEVIL! Entering the arena, hahahahaaaa!!" Morthos leaves.
"I don't know what I expected. I really don't. When I asked why, I think I expected something closer to what happened. I can tell if we keep going this way that we'll end up fighting each other so... I'm going to go and sort myself out more. Later."
Smiling, Shmitty takes the button from Grianne's hand. "Damn right. Just so you know. It was the Wood Girl not the Snake that busted my ass the last time." As he leaves the lovers, he says to Eldin, "Till next time" He throws what to laymen would think to be a lazy salute but to the eye of the thief his fingers flash two words. Church Boy
He slides his mask down over his face and takes the back alleys and rooftops back to the Greycastle Lounge. Hood down and mask off, Shmitty walks to the briny pile of bones at the bar. He orders a hand rolled cigar of halfling herb and says to Banjo, "What have you contributed today?" He looks at the decaying magical entity standing in a pool of very gross liquid and decides not to wait for his answer. "Find a mop and clean this up. Be polite and order whatever. We went all out on that. Once you are done meet me at that table."Shmitty points to the game table where Crow is dealing.

Shmitty Jackson looks up at Crow and he walks up to his spot at the table sparking the end of his aromatic stogie filled with face melting halfing weed. "I heard about your match. I'm sorry it went down like that but your time will come." He drops 300 gp on his...thief was it?
