Drag'thur swells up in tears at Belles' remark. "Hideous beast or handsome beast," she says, "their's someone for everyone. Never give up your hopes and dreams, somewhere out there underneath the pale moonlight, someone feels just as alone as most of us, and that someone is our missing half."

Sir Bubbalot sits in the corner in shame with a bashful look on his face.
Drag'thur, Belle takes in a sharp breathe, surprised by your presence. "I'm sorry" the librarian says standing from her seat. "I didn't expect anyone to come in today. What can I help you with?"
Drag'thur realized her sudden appearance might be a little alarming. "Well," she collected herself, "I wander if this place has any books I can barrow in the topic of sacred treasure, possibly lost to the ages?"
Caleb was raised to be better at breaking things rather than fixing them. As he looks through the town he's filled with mixed emotions. On the one hand the powerful warriors in this town, the sight of the coliseum, and the action on his first day make him feel like he's finally found a place to call home. However, the sight of destruction and the overall mood of loss and despair is bringing him down. A victory without celebration just doesn't sit right with him, but what can he do about it? All he has is what he brought into town and a bag of reward money... that's it!
He makes his way to the Glory and drops the bag of 100 gold on the bar. "Get the word out!" He announces to anyone who can hear. "Anyone who fought off those Twig-twisters (halfling profanity) or helped with repairs today drinks on me tonight!" 100 gold was more money than he'd ever had, but if he's made it this far without it he clearly doesn't need it. Besides, he plans on winning even more in the coliseum. "Oh, and a couple of bottles of something overpriced for me."
He plans on spending the rest of the day celebrating, or trying to get others to celebrate, the successful repulsion of the invaders.
“Sounds good” Marvarax places two bottles of dragon’s breath on the counter “how are the repairs going outside, I haven’t really been out recently, no where to go”

Eager to quickly instill a sense of normality, the bookie formerly known as the 'Purple Worm' has seen to drawn in gamblers of just about all ages. Money may not buy happiness; but, the chance to cheer on and show one's thanks and faith in heroes of the city was worth any price! Some may still be skeptical now seeing the half-drow Zalandra, now garbed in blue robes and headband, offering such enticement. Lion-O sees to it that no trouble starts up over things.
"Going by the Blue Fang now, but we--I'm open to suggestions for a different name." She offers cheerfully.
For Those Interested In Placing Bets on the Level 10 Match:
(Someone please help me come up with better names!)
Da Rules:
There have been a few changes for the Rank(/level) 10. Bets will still remain open until the 4th round of the match. Variable betting has been temporarily restructured so that the minimum stake can be no lower than 10 gp, and maximum set to 500gp with a 10% Vig.
(Stake x Odds = Payout(-Minus Stake, though it is returned as part of payout))
S/N Rulings: --*For this match, bets will remain open until the 4th Round. --*A gambler can bet on multiple categories, but only once per.
--*And to clarify, methods of incapacitation that do not involve a takedown (ie. Competitor being reduced to 0 hp) only qualifies as a 1st to fall IF said competitor REMAINS incapacitated until the match ends. --*If multiple competitors are rendered incapacitated at the same time via the above method, and remain that way until the end of the match, the stake is considered a loss. In such an event, all proceeds is divided and funneled back into the arena to support future matches (or so she says at least) --*If the Vig/commission is not paid upfront, it will be taken out of the winnings. --*Competitors are allowed to place a bet either personally or by a proxy. HOWEVER, they are restricted to placing said bet upon their team's victory or personally achieving 1st Blood(when applicable). --*In the event of a draw (not sure if that's even possible), bets will be refunded (at cost to MD) in regards to any placed on a final winning team. --*Those that don't understand the format change are free to ask for clarification. --*Lastly, all bets are FINAL.
Eldin impales the beast with his blades and the last signs of life within it are extinguished. Well, except for those struggling inside it to find their way out. With the help of the crowd that's amassed on the docks [including Eldin] the bodies of the fallen and still living [including Grianne] are pulled free from the monster even as the tides begin to pull the corpse out to sea. ...
(Oh... did not realize the battle was the next day. I'm going to say that Eldin didn't notice Grianne getting helped out of the worm and is now screaming at an empty worm and rummaging around in worm guts and doesn't listen to anyone telling him that his girlfriend is safe. Then he gets dragged off to the Arena)
"Couldn't tell you." Caleb responds as he opens one of the bottles. "This is my first day in town, so I don't know what it looked like in the first place." He takes a swig from the bottle. It's not as strong as the kind of stuff he usually drinks, but it's the best tasting drink he's ever had. "Does this kind of thing happen often, or am I just a bad omen?" He asks with a laugh.
Swigg wakes up the next day and sneaks out to the flower shop and buys a ton of rose's. He decorates the library with the flowers and spells out in petals, Belle, the Beast in me loves you completely, and leaves a note for Belle that reads
Hey, I'm sorry I ducked out. I didn't want to get in the way of your calling. To answer your question from last night check your desk...

Ganathor, seeing Eldin searching frantically, will assist him in his futile search. He will also snag a bottle or two of hard liquor beforehand.
“Don’t get lost in the mire, friend”
He then offers Eldin enough liquor for both of them to drink themselves under the table.
