just as josias was about to agree with him argoth threw a what seems like a lighting javelin at them . josias eyes get wide with worry. but says nothing. 

Grianne is getting exhausted by the immense amount of social interactions. She gives a nod to her former battle companions and returns to her seat.  She begins to meditate and enters a deep trance.

Eldin notices Grianne and says, "Looks like we may have a new fan-favorite. Let's try changing the odds to profit out of it."

Harmon's jaw drops at the amount of damage the two girls took, "Sometimes I should just keep my big mouth shut."

"Yes sir, here you are."

Stirge hands the rapier over.

"Good day sir."

and he goes back to working on some other weapons.

josias looks at harmon out the corner of his eye. i take it you never seen these girls fight. as daisy goes on the attack

"No, but I have heard their pretty scary from the locals. Weren't you and bug-man two of the guys who fought them in the first place? I heard there was also an orc girl who had a crush on you." Harmond says.

yes there was a group of us that fought them. it was a good battle. crush on me? that i have no clue what your talking about. only orc girl i know i want to defeat in battle. 

Grianne is suspicious of how quiet the place has become as she comes out of her trance, fully refreshed.

Nykkan pays the 2 gold to get the tools and supplies and then goes back to the tavern to start working on one of the blocks of wood. (It is going to end up looking like the monastic icon)

the halfling walks over to her and puts a mug of milk and honey infront of her. you seem stressed by people. this drink helps a lot of people relax. its just warmed goats milk and honey. i paid for this one ms. 

Grianne sips the drink and smiles. it tastes better than the wine.

Its a little much. Im used to the open relative solitude of the forest. there are lost of animals but they usually give me my space. i never imagined there were so many. Other elves, humans, dragon people, turtle people, really short people. Its a bit overwhelming.

@BdaddLy, my character has Speak with Small Beasts. This is what the description says - Through sounds and gestures, you can communicate simple ideas with Small or smaller beasts. Forest gnomes love animals and often keep squirrels, badgers, rabbits, moles, woodpeckers, and other creatures as beloved pets.

Eldon will return to the tavern and and place a bet on the bigger team. 

"Great things can come from numbers!" Eldon says to the bookie.

"I expect they shall be the team that wins, there appear to be a large number of fine warriors."

"What are the odds on this match? I'd like to place a bet of 10 gold that the coliseum fighters beat that bear and lady!" 

As he says this he jumps up and tries to toss each gold piece on the table since he can't quite reach the table XD

if thats overwhelming then i say your in for more. 

The Forest had nothing left to teach me. As hard as it may be, this is where i'm supposed to be for now. And in that arena, none of that mattered. It felt natural. i don't know what that means but i intend to find out.

hmmm he ponders for a minute. well then that sounds like passion. 

She starts muttering to herself in Druidic for a moment.That could be it. I will have to test myself again and find out.

 Her ears catch the sound of a raging beast. is that a bear i hear?
