Yusko was becoming frustrated...  This fish just wouldn't die, but she bled and bleeding things die.  So he just kept stabbing.

Yusko's frustration was understandable - how long do you have to punch someone before that someone dies! But the mermaid was not going anywhere just yet. And was growing angrier by the seconds. Still, she was going angrier in that one particular spot, that was already a small victory. If only the monster stopped attacking as well! Alas, the mermaid kept whacking Yusko with her rod.

Meanwhile, Davis chopped to pieces one of the drowner attacking him and turned to the next one. (M3 is out)

It was up to Hansel to do something with another undead (or maybe the mermaid? The spiritual weapon, though close to expiration, was still able to reach any).

Spiritual Weapon v Mermaid: Attack: 12 Damage: 11

The Ugly Stick bashed out half the skull of the attacker with the holy sparkle burrowing deep into the soft remains of the brain but it did not stop the drowned. Spiritual copy of the weapon, though, could not do the same, not even scratching mermaid's skin and beginning to shimmer with dying energy - it would not last long.

Trudie shimmies to loosen some spores and regrips her staff. With a slow spin and flourish of it, she calls upon the water to thrust itself upon their foes.

It was the first time the tentacled creature was attacked in this fight, probably vividly remaining the creature about the battle that she lost not so long ago. The water shifted around her and two undead and crashed both down to the seafloor. The wave then harmlessly washed over the Nameless girl, while Yusko felt like every single drop of his health and energy returned into his body!

Nameless growls, and continues firing crossbow bolts at the mermaid, still stuck in the rock and surrounded by enemies that she seems intent on ignoring.

Nameless girl could afford to ignore her enemies now with the full healing support, but the enemies were far from ignoring Nameless girl. Or anyone else, for that matter. All monsters attacked together as if following some command only they could hear. It took time for them to scramble from the floor but it's not like they had to go far.
