Unfortunately, while Morgan can recognize draconic when she sees it, she cannot actually read it, so I'm not certain she'd recognize what kind of spell is cast upon it.
Nine stops at Cloud’s words, seeming to notice his wounds again. His hands begin to shake slightly and he leans heavily on the table, staring at his longbow.
Cloud calls to Thekla Is Adalwulf around or up? Do you think he could come heal Nine? She turns back to Nine. He's gone right now. Tell me, since he's jumping through planes, how much of a difference would a night make? Can you afford to rest here?
"Nine, I am so sorry. But please, don't do anything hasty. It is always a terrible thing to lose someone, but please, stay and think. Half the people here will help you hunt down the b!@&!$d, but please think about what you're going to do."
“You would look better plucked , served on a platter of Thayan porcelain, with a red wine sauce.”, Nim’s voice from Nine’s throat is incongruous, but the anger in Nine’s eyes says that that statement is the least of the scars Nim has left him.
"Please sit, and have a little bit more to drink, maybe have a bite to eat, and draw out a plan to catch the thing, it shouldn't even be allowed to be a person."
Nine scrounges in a pocket for a moment, pulling out a small handful of assorted gemstones. He looks at the damage wrought by Nim and sighs. He will pay, or work to fix the broken wood if he can.
Seeing Nine pull out the gemstones and look around at the wreckage, Morgan assumes that he's thinking about paying for damages. Following that thought, Morgan sets the black stone on the table before reaching into her belt pouch to retrieve her two lodestone rings. She places the rings on her middle fingers, lodestones facing inwards above her palms, and proceeds to use Mending to repair as much of the damage as she can.
"Don't worry about that. We can help you with that. You just rest and try not to dwell on the past and that piece of !(#*." Yerandell asks the kitchen staff for some cloth and something to eat and drink. He whispers to the halfling as he passes, "don't think I didn't see what you did there, you sly ol' bat."
Nine sees the stone and lets out a surprised hiss. He seems to recognize it and reaches out a hand. As soon as his hand draws close, a little sharp toothed mouth appears, and Nim’s voice joyfully issues forth.
Morgan pauses in her mending of the damaged furniture at the sounds of the kobold's voice emanating from the stone. Her fists clench involuntarily as she listens.
Nine sags, wearily, his wounds and the terror of the encounter have taken their toll. He blearily looks for Morgan and mimes writing on paper to her, hoping she will understand.

That...Cloud doesn't finish her sentence, but the look on her face says it all.

“Nim is not for you, little one.” And Nine sits down hard, right on the floor, eyes closing as he lets out a shuddering breath
Morgan clenches the black stone in her fist, words completely failing her in her emotions at that moment, mental or otherwise.
"Please sit, and have a little bit more to drink, maybe have a bite to eat, and draw out a plan to catch the thing, it shouldn't even be allowed to be a person."
Cloud touches Nine's shoulder gently. Please, Nine she says softly. At least take a moment.

In Elvish, a young boy’s clear voice, “Time enough to hunt, Ranger. Lick your wounds here awhile. It seems the Feywild welcomes you.”
Cloud smiles. Thank you, Nine.

Cloud grins as a sudden thought occurs to her. Do you like cake, Nine? Because I assure you, Thekla's cake is the best to be had anywhere.

”Oh my bird, do you remember how beautifully we warred? I always loved hurting you most. And now only you remain. Won’t this be fun?”
