Cloud is not responding to any of the mind stuff, just what has been spoken verbally
AHEM! Cloud clears her throat. Perhaps we could keep the insults to a minimum in here. Speaking from experience, it can be quite insulting-at the least-to be referred to based on your appearance. Everyone is welcome here to rest. She directs a brief warning look to the corpse, Morgan, and Nine.
Scarlet quickly bails on Thekla out of interest of the moon elf. She slides over to zevrana and puts out her hand and says Hello, my name is Scarlet what's yours? I've never met a moon elf before. What is the difference between us?

"I want to pull out it's tongue so Timbity can use it as a whip."- W
Scarlet is a red haired wood elf. She is wearing a semi-formal red dress and her green cloak with silver lining. She has a beat up old scimitar at her side. She has dark green eyes and a feather in her hair. Her skin is well tanned.
Me, the warlock, the paladin, and Yik continued from the room of alcove into a chamber. Inside, we fought a giant lobster and his equally huge hermit crab friend. Ultimately, we made an alliance with the crab and promised to free him. The next room we entered had nothing of real interest, aside from a small silver pyramid. We continued down a hallway and found a statue carrying a sword on its back. Of course, I took the sword as my own, and wield it to this day. The hallway led to a huge chamber, where we went into combat against Tecuziztecatl, lord of the snails. The battle was vicious, but with a few fireballs and sword strikes, the slug was no more.
She gave the barkeep a nod as she was slid an ale before turning her attention to the elf that approached her. "Aside from my skin," she started, a slight smirk on her lips as she held up one hand to be better seen in the light - and it did have a slight blue cast to the otherwise pale color. "Probably not much. I'm Zev." With that she lowered her hand to give Scarlet's a firm shake.
Close enough for me! Although it means he'd have to identify Morgan as the person speaking to him beforehand, since he has to have a target for Message to work. Which wouldn't be that difficult, since she's sitting right next to Nine and staring at him rather sternly.
Without a word, Grigor pulls out a tent from a bag. The tent is obviously too large for the bag, so it must be magical. Before long, a tent is set up in the middle of the room. He enters, closes the flaps, and sets the demon on guard in front of it.
My tent has all of those things AND an oven! I got it from...
Honestly, I don't know where I got it. I just woke up one night after a wild feast with a dragon tattoo on my chest and a magic tent in my bag.
(sighs)
I'll explain it again. Whenever I use asterisks (*) with dialogue instead of quotation marks ("), that signifies that Morgan is using her telepathy. In such cases, unless I specify that she is broadcasting aloud to anyone in the vicinity, then ONLY the person she is speaking to can hear her. Case in point, "Grigor" would NOT have heard Morgan's observation and question to Nine.
It was at that point Grigor realized that literally nobody had said anything to him. He probably needed a hearing aid, but those hadn't even been invented yet.
Unaware of the mental discourse, But aware of the tension in Morgan, Nine simply stares down a creature whose kind he has always feared and hated. His hand tenses on the bladeless hilt, fingering the holy symbols that Lyric had carved when she made the weapon. He files ‘Birdbrain’ away in his mind for later.
Archibald turns his head from one interaction to the next, trying to make heads or tails of what is going on. Finally ascertaining that there is no true danger in the room, he makes his way towards the smell of food coming toward the kitchen.
So Zev what do you do for a living? Are you another bard? Because we have had plenty of those. I'm a druid by the way. And my magic obviously superior to everyone else's.

Nice weather we're having.
Walton Gibson - Human Cleric, Level 1
I'm not sure, actually. Morgan is using her Awakened Mind class feature. When you responded, I assumed you had something similar.
(Ooc: I just assumed it was two-way)
Walton Gibson - Human Cleric, Level 1
Unfortunately not, that's one of the limitations of Awakened Mind.
So...I guess the majority of that mental conversation didn't happen then?
Verbal disputes aside, I will continue my story.

Morgan looks sideways to meet Nine's gaze.
*First a magic bag, then a hot tub, then a pillow fort, now a tent. Care to take any bets about what strange thing we'll see in the tavern next?*
Grigor sticks his head out of the tent flaps.

*To Morgan: I’m not a gambler. And I live in the Feywild most of the year, so Strange is a relative term*
