All - Wake is giving all the glory to Selune with his enthusiastic dancing. Ariana leaps in and smashes a swath of spiders from his legs and a few on the floor as well. She brings her foot down and flattens a particularly large one with a number of baby spiders clinging to its back.
Seeing the spiders crawl onto Wake makes Ruby shiver. She will walk carefuly around the fire, closer to Wake and attack any spiders that he manages to shake of during his dance as to not hurt him. She will wait for the fire to be put out, looking around for any other threats.
Elwyn moves back to the open door and wills the spectral tentacle to attack the remaining spider swarm. He then uses his wand to unleash another beam of blue eldritch force towards the swarm. "Hang in there Wake, vermin exterminator has arrived." Movement: C7 to C9 Bonus action: Tentacle: 12 Cold: 6 Action: Eldritch blast: 22 Force: 9
All - Kulogall's firebolt blasts half the swarm of spiders away, sending flaming bits spraying across the room. Elwyn's tentacle slams the spiders off of Wake and smashes them to the floor. His eldritch blast slams into the remaining spiders and crushes them into a slimy smear of spider guts and bits.

"Right, we wanted to find a place to rest a bit. There is a place I checked with Ariana, but there is another fireplace, I am not sure I trust that aymore." Ruby says and shivers again. "Maybe we can check the rooms on the left?"
"Better not open any new doors with Kulogall in this state. I followed Ned into a room earlier that would be safe enough to rest in, let's go there." Elwyn says and helps Kulogall over to the room to the north. "Alright, I can keep watch in the corridor. Make yourself comfortable and we'll move on as soon as Kulogall feels better." He suggests as they get there.

Kulogall says “Thanks Elwyn, if I could just rest for an hour, bandage myself up, I think that will help.” Kulogall retreats to the room to have a short rest.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
All - The intermittent patter of rain begins as Kulogall settles into the room. It soon intensifies and becomes a steady drone. The old house quakes with every boom of thunder and water begins dripping through holes in the ceiling. Ariana opens the chest to find nothing but dust and cobwebs. The sack in the corner contains drab, rotted clothing — laundry soiled long ago by the house’s former owner. Untangling the balled contents, she finds an inordinate number of wool socks. Elwyn's watch is uneventful, the only entertainment coming from watching the storm through the dirty windows along the hall. The short rest passes and the storm is still battering the house. Wind howls through boarded windows and sprays rain on any who pass by. What would you all like to do now?
"Ready to go Kulogall? Then let's continue by checking the rest of the rooms upstairs."Elwyn says and moves to the first door to the southwest and listening at it. Perception: 19
Kulogall nods to Elwyn and smiles, appears stronger to you and recovered. "Ready to go. I'll check one of the doors to the north." Kulogall goes to the first door to the north and listens, trying to hear any movement or voices.

Kulogall - Along the north wall of this area, a staircase descends to the ground floor of the rear of the house. The treads appear to be loose and perilous. Another staircase along the east wall climbs to the upper level. This stair has mostly collapsed — only the lowest six steps are still intact, and there is no easy access to the hole in the ceiling to where the staircase used to lead. A heap of rotten timber lies in the northeast corner.
Elwyn, Ariana, & Ruby - No sounds can be heard coming from within either of the rooms other than the howl of the storm.

She will walk carefuly around the fire, closer to Wake and attack any spiders that he manages to shake of during his dance as to not hurt him.
She will wait for the fire to be put out, looking around for any other threats.Ruby if you move through the bonfire in square D9 you will need to make a DC 13 Dexterity Saving Throw or take
8 fire damage.
With the wall in the way I would say a diagonal move from C9 to D10 would require you to step through the bonfire at D9.
Kulogall is up!
Elwyn moves back to the open door and wills the spectral tentacle to attack the remaining spider swarm. He then uses his wand to unleash another beam of blue eldritch force towards the swarm. "Hang in there Wake, vermin exterminator has arrived."

Kulogall dismisses the bonfire at D9. He shoots a fire bolt at the swarm after he moves to line of sight, and then moves back to his current square.

After everyone settles in, Ariana inspects the chest for traps. If she doesn't think it's trapped, she tries to open it.
