Rey begins the climb up the tree. Rather quickly, the party below fades as he climbs up into the fog. It seemed the fog went on forever, and the only thing he could sense is the rough bark of the tree. At last, his eyes could detect the fog lessening. As he continued climbing, he could begin to make out other trees, and as he reached the top of the tree, the other tree tops fell away revealing the top of the forest. To the East you can just see the lights of Red Wood. To the North West, the lights of Sea Cove. To the North you can see the mountains rising high above the forest, the tops covered in snow. The storm clouds billowing above as the wind blowing the tree tops about.
Rey did catch the hint that there was a small glow on the side of the mountain in the direction that the drag marks were heading. From the looks of it, it looked to be a cave.
As you wait for Rey to return, you examine the area towards the edges of the path. Morgram and Valmarir, notice something odd about some of the smaller boulders. Morgram reaches down to touch one of the rocks only to realize that it’s actually cloth. At the stone where Valmarir is standing, it appears that it also is cloth. Both seem to have something under it.

Rey, how far up do you climb?
Krunchys Insight: The goblin looks at you, then away, but doesn’t stop singing.
OOC: You could hit him with a pan, but it’s doubtful to produce any results.
I have a climb speed of 20’, so considering we’re out of combat, up the top of what I can perceive as the tallest tree.

Rey begins making his way back down. When he gets there;
“North to the mountains seems to be our desired route. Seems to be some activity in the mountain side.”
ooc: are these similar to the boulders we saw at the orc camp?

As Morgram pulls the cloth back, he sees the corpse of a Kobold. From its state, it looks like it’s been there for months.
OOC: Great question, but no, the ones at the camp were actual boulders.
When he discovers the corpse, he starts to push all the other boulder aside in order to be able to look at the corpse in its entirety. "Please come here, I found a Kobold body! Seems like he's been lying here for weeks."

Val warily crouches down, and lifts the cloth next to him.
Val discovers a Goblin Corpse. It has also been dead for months. Both are curled up, clutching their knees.
As Morgram examines the bodies he does not see any signs of foul play. It looks as if they laid down and died of exposure.
