Looking at the well dressed skeletons in the murals, Caine curls his lip up and shakes his head.
"Death cult," he finally says. "This Strahd guy has to be more than troubled for this murder kill death cult to think sacrifices were going to win them his favour."
He looks over at the group around the dog.
"Once we get out of this house, I'm forgetting about finding Madam Eva or whatever her name was and just getting home."
Caine heads out of the room, keeping his distance from the dog as he does. Back out in the main hall Caine looks to see if there were any other doors they haven't checked on this floor yet. If there are, he'll open one and take a look inside.
"Hey," Jim says as the Caine begins to walk off. "Looks like this dog is named Lancelot after the brave and valiant knight from the tales of the Sword Coast."

"Hmmn. Well let's see if Lancelot will follow us. We shouldn't let Caine get separated from us." Razi will re-up the light on his hammer and move back toward the second floor hall, motioning for the pup to follow along.

"Bloody hell," Caine says as he whips his bow off his back, nocks an arrow and lets it fly, using Jim as a screen so whatever is in the armor can't see it coming.

"I hate this place," Caine says as he comes out of the servants quarters and joins the others in the main hall.
He looks up the stairs and sighs.
"Guess up it is," he says. "Are you bringing the dog?"
If the others are ready, Caine will start going up the stairs to the next floor, continuing to light lamps as he goes.
grabs the dog and picks him up...
"I got him, let's go."
Jim looks at the suit of black plate armour standing in front of him. He walks up to it and gives it a look over.
"We've seen a lot of armour around this place. Do you reckon they were ever worn or just purchased as a sign of wealth?"
Then, as Caine had done previously, Jim will mover closer to the amour to lift up the visor and knock on it to make sure its empty.
"Anybody in there?"
