In response to Jim’s question, Razi looks to Nelyna. “The crib upstairs… it was empty, correct?”

The terrible, angry feeling that had come over Nelyna when Rose entered her mind finally abated. She felt more like her usual self. In her mind, she told the girl's spirit, "I hope you can finally rest now. We will avenge you."
Nelyna watches Jim inter the nursemaid's bones with the children and smiles sadly. It's good they won't be down here in this crypt alone.
In response to Razi, Nelyna nods. "It was empty. We still need to find the remains of the baby."

Razi relaxes now that the children have been set to rest. “I see now why they brought us in here. While I am less than overjoyed at being brought here under false pretenses, I cannot fault the poor souls. Perhaps they didn’t truly understand what they were doing. In any case… this is a good thing we have done, just now. You should all take heart.”

Caine looks around as the others put the bones to rest.
"Well, still no way out but it looks like we have two choices down here," Caine says pointing north and south. "We're already near this opening, might as well keep going."
Caine takes a couple of steps south, holding a lamp up, lighting any other torches or lamps he finds along the walls and looks ahead of the group.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Caine wrinkles his nose at the moldy bones. Keeping one eye on the alcove, he starts going along the walls, looking for any secret panels or hidden objects.
"I hope those weren't dinner," Caine says, nodding at the bones.
Razi moves to put the dining room table between him and the creature. "Heavens! What is that monster?" He extends a hand and fires off a "Sanction!". Attack: 18 Damage: 7

Razi gasps, placing one hand on the table and the other over his heart. He sheds a tear… part relief, seeing his power once again surging… part joy, for he knows their reverent act in laying the children to rest is the reason he is back to his old self.

Caine pants a little as he catches his breath. The tentacled monstrosity had leapt out at him, but Caine had been able to dodge to the side and roll across the room. By the time he was back on his feet, Sleet and Razi had dispatched the creature.
"Thanks," Caine says to Sleet and Razi, looking down at its dead body. "So do all these things move into crazy psycho houses once the owners are dead, or was all this here when this was cult central?"
He finishes looking around the room, looking for any exits or secret doors or chests the grick might have been guarding.
Caine tries to remember what he saw in the doll house. There might still be some fleeting memories left in his psyche from Thorn too as he feels like he still has a good sense of the layout.
"West looked like it went to some bedrooms, and also to stairs down to a subbasement," Caine says. "Some sort of pool with cells nearby down there."
He thinks for a moment more.
"I think south links up near the stairs to the subbasement and also to some big room. North circles around to those same bedrooms."
He shrugs and looks at the others.
"I just want to get the hell out of here. We had to go all the way to the top to get to the basement. Maybe we have to go all the way to the bottom to get out." Caine says. "South and down to the subbasement?"

After Jim watches the bones of the children being laid to rest in their coffins, Jim places the bones of the nursemaid down beside them.
"There, now she is always watching over these two. Although did we find the remains of her child?"
