"Wonderful. Thank you." Piers halts his attack and motions for the others to do the same. Keeping his weapon at the ready in case this is some sort of trap, he follows the bandit.
Idoza squinted, then shot the others a suspicious look. But not one to stab another in the back, even one she might figure to readying to do the same, the cleric kept her spear in hand and followed along just behind or to the side of Piers where the path allowed for it. Even if/when they find floon without further incident, she wouldn't move to check on him until seeing at least some others keeping an eye on the Duergar and his 'friends'.

"Finally someone with sense" Cat thinks lowering her shortbow as she comes out of the shadows. She looks human flaxen blond wearing leather armor her eyes are blue gray but more cat like.
She says to the duergar "We're looking for a human male, white, redhair. Why were you barricading the door?"
ooc: I want my share of the treasure before Gruk disappears
four paintings of: Luskan, Silverymoon, Daggerford, and Baldur's Gate, that you estimate will fetch about 75 gp each =300 divided by 4=75gold each 15 silver trade bars, blackened from corrosion but still worth 50 gp each. (750gp)Divided by 4=187gp and 50 electrum
Ashlynn shrugs and follows. "So... why are you guys looking for Floon? One of his friends asked us to check in on him. A few questions later and we were down here roughing it in the sewers. Real exciting."
Cathern looks a little aghast "You mean Lord Floon Neverember?" Keeping an eye on the dwarf and bandit, she gets close to Ashlynn and whispers "Lets not discuss this Infront of the enemy, please."
(Piers has 16 passive insight, so would spot the bandit's and duergar's antics.)
"Hold it, you two. I'm beginning to think you're not doing this just to get us out of your faces... you're planning on taking us to your boss, then fighting alongside him so you have a better chance. Is that it? Well, we're not having it." He huffs. "We gave you a chance, and by all means should consider this a betrayal... leave, back to the place we found you. Do not follow us."
Idoza mutters something in goblin in clear agitation before aloud saying to Piers without taking her eyes off the Duergar and bandits, "I think we're past the point of trusting they keep to a request without restraints and nothing more, dear." She then, if room allowed for it, brandished her spear and leveled it at neck level of the Duergar. "On. Your. Knees." She glances to the bandits. "Same to the rest of you. Your lives need not be cut short, but I will do so if I must. Sriep, wasn't it?" She side-eyed Piers, giving a warning look not to correct. "If you have any rope, I'd break it out. We'll see them bound and secured. One we keep as a guide."
Intimidation: 13 (If check is needed. The 1d4 is also from the earlier guidance)
"It's p-" Piers starts to correct her, but catches the warning in Idoza's intentions. He nods slowly, showing that he has caught on. "-robably the right move, yeah. I've got rope. You heard the lady; on your knees. We'll likely be better off without a guide; this isn't a very large place from the looks of it."
If the men do indeed kneel and allow themselves to be tied (likely given the 21 intimidation check), Piers stands and nods. "There we are. Off we go, then."
He'll continue side by side with Idoza down the hallway.
Piers nods, the resolve clear in his expression. "We don't have much of a choice, do we now? I suppose you'll know how it goes soon enough."
With that done, he continues onward. As they move further through the complex, he crouches low, allowing the shadows of the closed tunnel to obscure him a bit. He even casts a spell - the mosses of the underground complex grow under his boots, obscuring their sound even more.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
To Piers, “Dont forget their legs.”
“Any other words of wisdom? We are being generous enough to leave you alive.”
After their response, or lack of one, Drux will go through their belongings. “You probably won’t be needing these (assuming Drux found something), and we can’t have ya coming at our backs with weapons, now can we?”

Drux, seeing Cat’s nervousness, slows his pace a little, putting space between himself and the duergar so to see the bigger picture better.
