As Pru's lights make their way around the room, the door to the left is covered with a lot of webs. Sitting above the webs is a Giant spider. He starts to make his way to the opposite corner, it seems to be slightly occupied with the lights.
Pru stops when she gets sight of the Giant Spider. Seeing it moving to investigate the dancing lights, she has them jiggle a little as if they're something stuck in the web and then she backs up slowly.
She points it out to Beryl, and the others if they're near by.
"Big spider. Big big spider," Pru says in a whisper, suddenly very aware of how small she is in comparison to the spider.
Beryl thinks it would be grand to turn into a giant spider sometime. Perhaps when she understands and can control her shapeshifting power better.
In the meantime, this giant spider needs to be dealt with. Setting fire to the webs would be spectacular, but not the best option in an abandoned house full of flammables, she decides somewhat reluctantly.
Initiative: 7
She intends to use her bonus action to cast Shillelagh on her quarterstaff and then use her action to whack the spider with it.
"big spider, shit!" viorlag kaladin throws out a hand and runes on his sear light up as wind spins around beryl "those are poisonous, dont get bitten!"

This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?

There are some tattered drapes hanging on the wall under the spider. A good portion of the web goes from the farthest corner, to the corner to your left, covering a door. To the right, it's pretty well opened, with the exception of shattered furniture. There seems to be remnants of an old chandelier hanging above the broken table.

Pru looks at the giant spider. As she does, her lips move, but barely noticeable. It looks like a hiss should be heard from those around her, but they hear nothing.
Action: Casts Dissonant Whispers Wis DC13 or the spider takes 11 psychic damage and has to move further away from Pru.
¨spiders, i hate webs damnit, they make everything harder!¨ kaladin walks forward scowling and then stabs at one of the spiders with his spear holding it close to the point and using it similar to a dagger
Attack: 18 Damage: 12

The spider starts skittering across the ceiling towards the open space to the right. As it crosses over the table, Kaldin stabs the spider with his spear. The spider falls flailing to the floor, releasing high pitched screeches of terror.
OOC: Here's my action that happens after Aranor, if he is here. If he kills the spider first, none of this happens. She might stand there, with a spell on her lips, looking slightly disappointed.
Beryl casts Shillelagh on her quarterstaff as her bonus action, and then winds up and tries to hit the spider across the room. "Yaaarrrrrgh!!!!!!"
The spider lay dead on the floor. Beryl looks like she's ready to drop kick a rat through an upper window, but stops short. To your left, behind you is a door slightly ajar. The stone crafted fireplace looks like it used to not just keep the room warm but also give the dinners a relaxing atmosphere. To your right is a closed door.
Pru wrinkles her nose at the dead spider. Giving it a wide berth, she makes her way to the closed door and listens carefully for any sounds from the other side. She'll then take a look for any traps and if she doesn't find any, she'll open the door and see what's on the other side.

Beryl nudges the corpse of the spider with her toe. "Ick." Seeing Pru head towards the closed door, Beryl moves that way also, keeping her staff ready in her hand. She keeps her eye on the other door, in case something decides to surprise them whilst they are looking the other way. That giant spider moved pretty quickly.
OOC: We are in the bottom right corner of the room? I'm assuming the closed door is the one on the right, in the dining room (above the table on the map); and the slightly ajar door is on the left, on the other side of the corridor opening. If Pru is looking at the left closed door, I'm near her, looking back towards the slight ajar door. Please correct me if I'm all turned around. :)
Pru frowns at the state of the home.
“I’m starting to think this is a dead end,” Pru says as she pokes at the broken dining room furniture.
See the entrance to the kitchen, she goes in there and looks around, positions the Dancing Lights in each corner.

The left or right door?

Pru was checking the closed door. Looks like that’s the one on the right.
As you approach the door, you noticed another door, to your right. looks like it might be a closet or off room to the dinning room.
You stand there, holding your breath, listening for sounds on on the other side, you hear nothing.
