Khessa wants to be sure, before telling Zephyros where to go; the opportunity to do the journey on a flying citadel, with more speed and probably more safety, is too good to be wasted by the choice of a suboptimal destination! So she checks a last time with those who are still keeping silent: "Gryrim, lad, do you agree to start with our journey to Triboar and try to pay attention to anything that seems related to the ordning? Or do you see some better options? And you Mistress Kramyra?"
"Lass, I was but a humble, maybe a bit rough around the edges bartend. The extent of my choice in destination is easily answered." He comes to attention in a clumsy fashion and thumps his closed fist against his chest. "I'll follow ye thoughts ma'am." He breaks his stance with a hearty laugh. "By Moradin I'll follow all ya to the end, if naught for the chance at a fantastic take to be told."
Khessa pretends to turn around looking for someone, then asks the dwarf: "Where is this 'ma'am'? I'm not a 'lass' anymore, lad?" She winks "I must have grown older all of a sudden..." then she stops jocking and awaits for Kramyra to answer as well.
Given that nobody seems to have complaints, Khessa informs the cloud giant: "We kept to our original destination, Zephyros. We would like to go to Triboar. We can start whenever you wish. Thank you very much for all your present and future help!".
"I'm still in a bit of a shock over here, but I like the fact we're going to a place we can go back to Nightstone of our own freewill if need be. So yes, let us head in that direction." and Kramyra tries to find a spot to be comfortable once the castle lifts up into the air.
As mentioned, Khessa will study with Zephyros, even if he has no 1st level spell of interest for her, out of curiosity for the notes of such a powerful mage. If possible for her, she would also like Zephyros to teach her to drive the tower... part for the curiosity and the fun of it, part because in the future she plans to visit Countess Sansuri... who also has a flying citadel! So Khessa would like to know at least the basic about how to drive it: maybe, she'll have the oportunity to make Sansuri's citadel have a crash or something...
She most likely will also try to find some moment to stay with Ev'alish and see how things between the both of them develop... (But DeltaEdge27 pointed out that maybe better to play that in a private chat, so maybe we will do that way).
Apart from that, Khessa will live her daily routine... only in a flying house instead of in a more usual one.
Oh, well, and after the first long rest she can get, she will change her prepared spells, preparing Feather fall instead of Absorb elements - I'd say this update will take place in the morning of the day after the start.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ev'alish stands at the front of the cloud castle, either keeping watch for danger, doing weapon exercises, or kneeling in vigil for much of the time. (Perception: 5). He also wakes early, if nothing else to help with routine jobs that need doing.
Occasionally he will step toward someone working with a tool or instrument, simply watching and taking in the skill being used. He also makes sure that the children (and everyone else) are doing alright, and sometimes gives them a lift onto his back to carry them high for a while.
He'll ask Zephyros as he explores the tower, pointing to the orb in the bedroom. "Master Zephyros, may I ask... what, perchance, is this orb?"
During the day, Kan looks outside to watch for signs of giants and dragons. He perfects the bracelet that he’s using to call up a variety of tools/creations to assist in battle.
At night, Kan tries to sneak up to the aerie whenever everyone is asleep to put on a little performance for himself, dancing a lot of precise little steps. He creates a partner of light using dancing lights but tries to keep the noise down, dancing without any music. Sometimes he’ll put his tinkering to use on his shoes to have it make little sounds of gusting wind when his feet hit the ground. Anything to keep in touch with who he might’ve been.
Khessa brings her children in a corner of the tower, out of sight, and tells them to stay there, quiet and without moving, for we don't know what the visitors might want.
Then she comes to meet the leader of the visitors (or the nearest, if it is not obvious who leads), smiling: "Well met, sky travelers! I'm Khessa" and she holds out her hand to shake. "I hope you had a good flight! Can I ask the reason for your visit?"
Ev’alish breaks from his watch as he spots the vultures and their riders. He finds the rest of the group, rousing those inside who may be resting or may not be aware of the events taking place outside. He then rushes to make sure the children are indeed safe (they are) and reassures them that everything will be alright. He finally finds Zephyros, informing him of the arrivals to the castle.
With his pike mounted to his back, he strides out to meet the riders, standing the closest to them as the rest of the group files out. He seems to be on his guard. ”Indeed. Who art thou? What brings thee to see us?”
Kan slips a wooden tile into his bracelet, and it conjures a tiny handheld object that looks like a tube, approximately 8 inches deep and 3 inches in diameter, with a grip descending from the middle point of the tube to be held in his left hand. In his right hand is a staff that forms a jagged, irregular shape of wood.
He holds up both in a defensive manner. “I don’t know you. Identify yourselves.”
Khessa points out: "And what if we are?" she still keeps her hand outstretched waiting for a handshake "What would your lack of courtesy bring you then? Shall not we start again from the beginning with proper presentations? After that, if you wish to explain us more in detail what is this 'primordial state' you are longing for, we will tell you if we can be of help. Or we'll introduce you to the master of the tower, if you so prefer."
Kan shakes his head. “I am afraid I am just a tad overwhelmed at the… incredulity of it all. I trust you to lead us where we have to go.”

“I believe we are due proper etiquette whatever the circumstance, now identify yourselves!” Kan looks downright offended at the impropriety

Kramyra hangs back waiting to see how things turn out. But she agrees with the incredulity the newcomers are displaying with their demands.
