Bigan would be ready to head into the room until Alanik's voice shouted from the parlor. Immediately sensing danger, the barbarian would rush-in, axe in-hand and would immediately settle down once hearing the investigator. "Heh... that sounds good by me." He'd take a seat across from Alanik, setting his axe down beside him, ready to fight if a poltergeist once again came to the room.
"You want me to lead the way, now?" Arthur asks. "Very well."
He leads you out of the room, and he is about to open the door to the other room when you hear a shout.
"Arthur! Come quick!" It's the voice of Alanik coming from the parlour, sounding excited.
Arthur stands there with his hand on the door handle to the other room before turning to look at you and then moving to the parlour. He then opens the door and you find Alanik sitting at the table with an excited expression on his face.
"I just got a reaction from the spirit board, it seems that for it to work we have to be touching the planchette. However, the planchette barely moved. I wonder if we all sit around the table and touch the planchette at the same... maybe will we get stronger reactions from the board."
Arthur shrugs his shoulders, "Seem like something we can try."
He then moves to sit at the table next to Alanik.
Wrenn dashes after Arthur which seems to be all he does when he moves to keep up. "So you want me to touch the planchette while its on the spirit board I can try it" he takes a place at the table.
Misira asses the situation after following the rest from Alanik’s cry. “Sure, I’ll sit down. I thought you knew how this worked?” She takes a seat next to Wrenn and places her hands on the planchet.
Alanik raises an eyebrow at Lyreth's remarks, "Well, I wouldn't exactly call it a family game, but sure."
Once you are all seated, you can finally get a good look at the spirit board on the table. The same board that Alanik had been investigating since you had arrived.
Then as indicated you all begin touching the planchette. Then Alanik begins the ceremony of attempting to contact the spirits of the house once more.

Sharone's eyes go wide when the temperature drops and the planchette moves toward the word "greetings." She was considering playing a prank on the host, grabbing the planchette and moving the pointer slowly to "Y - O - U H- A-V - E C - A - N - C - E - R" and then look at the reactions, but this seemed.... real. She waits and observes, concentrates on the board and closes her eyes. "Is there something here?"

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Bigan leans forward, resting his head in his hand as he ponders. "Very different name from Halvhrest, Dranzorg, Silvra, and Laventz... Maybe this is the spirit of a poor soul who found this house and was lost within?"
Sharone speaks up, shaken by this turn of events. She initially felt all of this was a hoax, like her chain was getting pulled but she is coming around to the fact that there is something here, something she doesn’t understand, something … dangerous. “Were you killed up in that tower?”

Misira is very curious who this Garland is. “Did you attack us in the garden room or was that someone else?” Then thinks of something else, “if it wasn’t you, who was it?”
There's a pause for a moment before the planchette moves again in response to Sharone, "Yes".
Alanik raises an eyebrow but says nothing, then Misira asks her questions causing the planchette to move again.
At first, it moves to the letter "N", and stops there. Then it continues moving, "N-O-T-M-E"
"Not me," Arthur says.
Then the planchette stops moving and instead lights start to flicker before stopping after a brief amount of time.
"I'm guessing Garland doesn't want to reveal who the other spirit is," Alanik explains to you. "So Garland, is there any way we could you pass on beyond this plane?"
The planchette moves again, firstly it moves to the letters "H-E-L-P-U". Then the planchette pauses before moving on "N-D-E-R-P-O-R-C-H."
"Help under porch."

"Well, I guess we head back outside!" Bigan smiles and turns his head to the southern door toward the front porch. "Though once we help you move on, may you share the name of the benevolent spirit who attempted to gore us?"
"Don't suppose there is anyway you can tell us what we are looking for under the porch? Or if we need to be aware of anything?" Misira is also hoping it isn't still raining outside, she is finally starting to dry off. She tries looking at a window to see if she can tell from her seat at the table.
Sharone stands and says "Fine. I want to take a look around the outside of the house anyway. Anyone else with me?" She stands and walks to the door. She turns and looks back toward the table, "Arthur and Alanik, we will be right back, let you know what we find. Perhaps we need to use that board a little more. I wonder what other information we can get out of it..."

Lyreth nods, "Sure, I love family games. Is it safe to play a game now though?" She puts her hand in.

There's a pause for a moment, and the planchette does not move straight away.
Then it begins moving, picking up speed as the planchette moves to each letter.
The planchette spells out:
G-A-R-L-A-N-D-K-O-R-D-Z
"Garland? Garland Kordz?" Alanik asks. "Is that it? Is that your name?"
Then there's another pause before the planchette moves again, this time to the word "Yes."

Misira looks at Alanik, “Do you recognize that name?”

Wrenn "Doesn't ring a bell to me."

"I have not heard the name before," Alanik admits.
"Garland, did you die in the castle?"
There's another pause before the planchette moves to the word "Yes".

Lyreth is intrigued by this very elaborate game of 20 questions.
She starts thinking of various animals so she has an idea for when it is her turn.
