Ankita smiles at Sam and shakes her head slightly. As the others head up East, Ankita takes a closer look at the tapestry, trying to see if it makes any sense to her.

Then she takes her staff and catches a corner of it and sees if she can lift it up and look behind it.
Seeing Damien holding the mask Rhazher remarks, "That would make for a decent shield. Actually, that reminds me.." He trails off as he takes his own buckler and fastens it to his forearm. "Whatever happened to that guy with the marks all over his face, I'd prefer not to end up like him." As he turns to see the tapestry with its screaming dismemberment victims he adds, "... or him."

"As long as we stay focused on our objective none of us will end up like that unfortunate one Rha'zer. My guess is he was a Flaming Fist deputy that was too concerned with the decor to notice the cultists closing in on him." Damian answers, looking at the tapestry. "But still, thank you all for your vital observations regarding the decor." Damian says dryly from the back. "The tapestry should be burnt, but I suggest that could wait until we have dealt with our real objective, cleansing this place of cultists. Lets move on Master Turnuroth." Stealth: 11 Perception: 17

Remi - You creep into the room you saw earlier with the carved doors bearing images of the Dead Three. You don't see or hear anything untoward.
Ankita - You watch the others head up the stairs toward the Dead Three doors and in your peripheral vision, in the low, flickering light of your produce flame spell it almost seems as if the figures on the tapestry are moving. Turning back to the tapestry and holding the flame closer, you can see that they don't move. Whether it was a trick of the light or something else, you aren't sure. Holding your staff in one hand and the flame in the other you pull back the edge of the tapestry to reveal... the same smooth stone the rest of the dungeon is made of. Pulling the tapestry aside further reveals more of the same uninteresting stone. When you let the tapestry fall back into place though, a cloud of yellow spores suddenly fills a 10ft space around the tapestry with a WHUMPH. The spores burn your skin as they settle on you and your throat and lungs feel as if they are on fire!
Please make a DC 15 Constitution Saving Throw or take 8 poison damage and become poisoned for 1 minute. While poisoned this way, you take 1d10 poison damage at the start of each of your turns. You can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of your turns, ending the effect on yourself on a successful save.
Damian - You too are caught in the cloud of spores that fills the small chamber at the bottom of the stairs! Please make a DC 15 Constitution Saving Throw or take 9 poison damage and become poisoned for 1 minute. While poisoned this way, you take 1d10 poison damage at the start of each of your turns. You can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of your turns, ending the effect on yourself on a successful save.
Rhogarr - The tapestry does not appear symbolic and you don't think any of the figures depicted are intended to represent anyone in particular. It seems to display murder and dismemberment for the sake of murder and dismemberment alone.
Samuel - You're able to creep up to the door where you saw the light before as silently as a shadow. You see no further light and anything that might be heard is eclipsed by a sudden scuffle coming from the passage where the tapestry and gore covered altar were.
All - You suddenly hear Ankita and Damian cursing and coughing loudly in the narrow passage and any who would turn would see them standing amid a cloud of yellow spores.
Ankita - You may make your check with Advantage thanks to the produce flame spell in your hand.
"Gah! What in the name of Silvanus!?" and Ankita starts coughing and brushing at the spores covering her skin, she turns to see that her actions have also engulfed Damian. "I am dreadfully sorry!"

Samuel would like to attempt to identify the spores: Nature check (I assume): 17
After identifying the spores, Samuel will Prestidigitation to blow the spores away from the group with a small gust of wind, knowing that the path circles back around on the other side, still allowing them a path to the remainder of the dungeon.
Samuel - You recall part of a ballad you know that describes a heroine dealing with something very similar. According to the ballad, Yevelda Star-Eyes encounters a patch of yellow mold in the caves of the Whispering Werewolf. She manages to resist and burn the offending fungus, but not before her trusty halfling sidekick, Larby Large-Lunch succumbs to it in a very sad scene.
You're able to disperse the remaining cloud of spores, leaving the area around Ankita and Damian safe.

Damian gives Samuel a quick nod. "Are you alright Ankita?" He says in an uncharacteristically desperate tone. Nature to determine kind of spore: 17 Medicine to determine what could be done to help: 12 "Master Turnuroth, Ankita needs your assistance." Damian calls out to the green dragonborn.
Damian - You fail to recall any pertinent information regarding this specific fungus at the moment. You feel that this is something Ankita's body will have to fight off and that outside of using healing spells or potions to keep her alive or offering encouraging words, there is not much else you can do.
Rhogarr - Given where you are and what you've encountered thus far you get the feeling that the chances of a long rest are highly unlikely in your current surroundings. As this realization dawns on you, you see Ankita still coughing and clutching her throat. Her eyes are bloodshot and weeping and her nose runs freely as her body continues to try to resist the poison.
If you'd like to try something else instead of the Lay on Hands, you may.

Remi is up!
May I make a Medicine check given my knowledge of/resistance to poison from my draconic ancestry?
Remi turns after hearing the coughing and spluttering behind him. He comes halfway down the stairs and looks into the room but doesn’t enter. He whispers “What is going on down there? You aren’t smoking wacky weed down here are you? You are cramping my creeping up here, oh what the hell, Ankita what is wrong?” Remi holds up his torch too look and assess the situation, head turning back frequently to look behind him. He doesn’t know anything to do to help, doesn’t approach any further and he dodges by default.

Would Rhogarr know anything about the symbolism on the tapestry?

CON save: 13
(I took the damage and am now poisoned.)
All - In order to properly deal with the yellow mold/poison situation we'll act in initiative order. I'll roll initiative for everyone to save time.
Initiative order is as follows:
Rah'zher is up! Followed by Damian, then Samuel.
Damian con save: 15 devils luck I guess

Rhogarr will use Lay on Hands if it seems likely that we'll get a long rest fairly soon and heal Ankita for 5 HP.
