Remi looks up and says to Rhogarr and Samuel, "Don't count your eyeballs before they've hatched. We aren't through this mess yet. Look alive." Remi goes back to the previous room and listens at the door bearing the image of Bane, to the east. He bends down and listens, trying to hear movement since anyone beyond may have been alerted to our presence. He looks for any traps to the door as well.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"I don't think there are any cultists hiding in that sarcophagus Ankita, but it may well be trapped. If you're all quite finished with discussing dinner plans now perhaps we can continue with our mission." Damian says and follows Remi back to the room with the doors. Stealth: 19 Perception: 4
Ankita follows Remi and Damian up to the next door. Watches Remi listen at the door and decides to join him to see if she can hear what he hears. This is a new one for her.
Samuel inspects the floor around the sarcophagus for any pressure plates or trip wires.
Perception: 22
”Ankita. I find that whether you are in a sewage filled death trap, a manse, a church, or wherever; you are surrounded by shite. Best to make the most of any situation.” Assuming there are no traps detected, Sam will peer into the sarcophagus.
Before Ankita heads up to join the ones at the door, she responds to Samuel, “Interesting way of looking at things, Sam. Do you mind if I call you Sam?”
Names have always been an interesting thing to firbolgs. They don’t typically use them within the tribe and only use names when they venture beyond their territory. She did however notice Samuels initial reaction and makes note of it.
Ankita puts her finger to her lips and points to the door and then holds up 2 fingers. Hoping her friends realize she means at least 2 people on the other side of the door. She then backs up to let others take the lead, she’s not doing the best and really can’t take another hit.
Remi nods to Ankita, gets everyone's attention with hand signals, holds a "Shush" to his lips, and... stealthily cracks open the door. If successful, he will creep inside.

Remi - You successfully open the door to reveal a long hallway with two sets of descending steps. More foul smelling water awaits at the end of the hallway.
Remi holds his nose, pantomiming stink, then motions for everyone to follow, then creeps forward, down the first set of stairs, then stands to the top of the second, without going into the water yet, and listens.

Remi comes back and noting the water below, doubting his chances to sneak through it quietly, he turns to Rhogarr and says “Do you want to lead? I’ll be right behind you.” He takes the torch and falls into 2nd place in line, Rhogarr leading the way down into the murky water below.

Remi - You hear what sounds like someone having a conversation, punctuated by wet SCRUNCHING sounds and pained wails...
All - The eastern part of this room is unlit, flooded, and braced with floor-to-ceiling wooden beams. Rough-hewn steps rise out of the murky water to the western portion of the room, which is dry and lit by two torches in sconces that flank a stone altar. Shackled to the wall behind the altar is a sickly man in a loincloth with a burlap sack over his head. An alcove in the north wall contains a freestanding suit of plate armor missing its helm.
Standing before the altar are two grim figures: a powerfully built woman clutching a mace, and an even bigger man wearing a bucket helm. The helmed man is jabbing the prisoner with a spear, causing him to twitch. Both figures are clad in chain mail, and the woman carries a wooden shield with a leering skull painted on it.
The woman hears you all sloshing through the water and says to the man, "Look Yignath, more toys to break." The man gives the prisoner another thrust with his spear before turning to you all and saying, "They too will kneel before Bane, Kazzira."
Samuel draws his flute from his hip, bites his lip and whispers into the flute as the blood flows out the end, casting bane on both of the targets. CHA Save 13.

Samuel - The woman gasps and grimaces in pain as the shrill note reverberates in the enclosed space. The large man chuckles and says, "Soon you'll be making the same sweet music without the flute, boy."
Fist of Bane CHA Save: 14
Iron Consul CHA Save: 15
Both rolled with advantage due to a specific ability in their statblock.

Ankita makes a low almost haunted sounding whistle, a few notes long that echoes in the chamber they are in. Once finished, a fiery fox appears in a burst of flames to the East of I. Both F & I need to make a DEX save of 13 or receive fire damage of: 6
The fox looks around sees the large humans in front of him, Ankita makes a higher one note whistle, and the fox disappears in a cloud of smoke and reappears two squares to the East. Both must make another DEX save or take fire damage of 4

Damian & Remi - You can't quite hear much as the others mill about around you in the small space. You find nothing to indicate the door is trapped.
Ankita -
You hear someone speaking in a low voice, followed by a wet SMACK, then a wail of pain. You also find nothing to indicate that the door is trapped.
Samuel -
Amid the dust, eyeballs, broken glass, and humanoid bones inside the sarcophagus you find what appears to be three spell books.
Spellbook 1 is bound in red leather and contains the following spells: burning hands, detect magic, disguise self, fog cloud, ray of sickness, silent image.
Spellbook 2 has the personal rune of its previous owner burned into its umber cover. This book contains the following spells: charm person, find familiar, identify, magic missile, sleep.
Spellbook 3 is bound in scaly black reptile hide and contains the following spells: cloud of daggers, darkvision, detect magic, feather fall, mage armor, magic missile, Tasha’s hideous laughter.

Samuel takes a brief moment to discern if it is safe to place these books within his pack.
Arcana: 8
Assuming it is safe to touch these books, he places them within his bag, then catches up with the group.
Rhogarr volunteers to go first as usual, offering guidance if anyone wants to try to be sneaky instead.
