Xai'Bowhispers a prayer to the Tree of Life and then moves his staff to the bundle, trying to uncover what is inside without getting too close.
As he does so he quietly calls back to the others who are with him. "There is something bundled up in a blood stained sheet. I am going to try and see what it is", he says a little nervously.
Mavis moves around the room a little, eyes returning to the wine cask and the pair of wine glasses on the table once in a while. There is something there -- perhaps a clue that he is still unsure of. He lets the thought go and wanders further into the room to seek the trapdoor and any other signs that may explain the situation in the house better.
Oron moves Melantha behind him and tries to block their view. He turns around and looks at them. "Let's not look until we know what it is." He then calls out to Xai'Bo. "What is it!?"

Sirron cautiously began to look around the room in search of the jammed trapdoor. He paused his search when he spotted the cabinet with the crossbows in it, but after a couple seconds he shook his head slightly and continues with his search.
Xai'Bo, cautiously prodding at the bundle, you manage to dislodge the sheet, revealing a skeleton dressed in the same outfit as the ghostly nursemaid. A least a dozen stab wounds have soaked her clothes with blood, and it is clear that she was murdered and then hidden here.
'They never make it easy, do they?' Mavis asks out to no one in particular. He turns to see his compatriot and says, 'Let's toss the place a little. Check behind the wardrobes. Perhaps some of this decorations can be moved to open some sort of secret door, just like the one from before.'
Mavis begins knocking on the wall around the room in an orderly pattern. He begins from near the hearth then outward, hoping to hear some slight difference in tone between solid panelling and the hollow of a hidden room. Twice now he saw hidden room and passageway in this house behind a wall. Perhaps this one will not be different.

Xai'Bo flicks the chest closed with his staff and turns back to Oron and Melantha.
"I guess we know what happened to the nursemaid now, it was not a pleasant end. This whole house is very creepy and sinister", he says with the shake of his head.
"I am not sure there is much else here, it doesn't seem to lead the same way as the route the ghost showed us", he says looking around again for a passage.

"If it was easy then it'd probably also be heavily trapped." Sirron replied with a slight shrug of his shoulders. "If we can't find it behind the furniture then maybe it could involve the positioning of an object or objects in the room. An old friend of mine had this secret room attached to his study and the only way to locate the door to said room was by flipping all the portraits in the study so they were upsidedown."A soft chuckle escaped him before he glanced around the room for a moment trying to determine what to search behind or move first.
"Maybe..." He trailed off slightly as he walked over towards the other wardrobe in the room and hummed softly to himself. After a moment of hesitation he takes a breath and attempts to move it a little.
Ruel not used the duplicity of hidden rooms and trapdoor let the talk of his comrades pass over him and tried to assist Mavis and Sirron where he could in lifting furniture and tapping panels.
Sirron had thought that the wardrobe would be heavier than it had been but as it started to move an excited hum escaped him although his excitement faded a little when it seemed to get stuck. He took a step back from the wardrobe and scratched the back of his neck slightly before kneeling down beside it with a curious expression.
"On a scale of one to ten, one being a horrible decision and ten being a wonderful decision... Where would you say 'sticking your hand underneath a piece of furniture to test a theory even though the piece of furniture could possibly fall on you and crush you if you're not careful' would land?" He questioned the others in the room, glancing at the floor as he did so.

The Verdan peeks from behind Oron, staring at the bundle uneasily.
Is that a bundle with---??
"Oh no....ohnoohnoohno..." they whisper to themselves.

Sirron, Mavis, Ruel, look as you might, you cannot see any sign of a trapdoor, though you wonder if moving the furniture could reveal it.

Sirron, the wardrobe is lighter than you expected, but as you move it gets stuck on something underneath it.
Xai'Bo, Oron, moving some of the miscellaneous bits and pieces stashed in the room allows you to uncover a door to the south.
