As they rested Roxie played a soothing tune on her lute. "Alrighty then, Let's head off."

Heading out along the trail after gathering your stuff you continue along following the map, soon you arrive at the next place, as a name for it appears on the map, stone canyon, it's a giant ravine in the earth, based on the map it doesn't seem to end any time soon. 

Odysseus

Odysseus, when the canyon approaches and starts to develop into two stone walls, sees if it is possible, instead of going straight inside the gorge, to walk up to one the two fronts of the canyon

Daladin looks around in wonder at the canyon. "Well this I was not expecting." 

the canyon sees like either route would be a difficult one but it should be possible 

Odysseus

Odysseus looks at the others and says:

What do you think?! Should we go inside the canyon or climb to the top of one side or another: it looks like a difficult one, although I have a bad feeling: you already told me you had a fight before meeting me...what if we will have an ambush from somebody on top?!

Roxie shrugged. "The shortest path between two points is a straight line. I say we climb in and then out as necessary to get across."

That straight line gets a helluva lot longer if you keep climbing up and down...

 Upon arriving at the mouth of the canyon loreth looks out “well that’s going to take forever, I say we take to more dangerous path if it’s any shorter than that”

Odysseus 

fine, let’s go into the gorge then, let’s pay attention, also to what happens from both sides

ooc: @dm: I say we can go ahead

alright as you reach the canyon edge you find a big down slope with several protruding rocks, looking down you can barely see the bottom, around the edge are a few trees from the forest, what's everyone doing 

Ooc: sentence broken or what?!

Roxie looks down. "Yikes! Hey, does anyone have rope? My magic thingy can let me levitate down so if you guys tie a bunch of ropes together and around a rock or a tree or something, I can wait till you're all down, untie the rope and float down."

(How steep is the slope?)

it's just steep enough that it would defiantly cause walking problems but not be impossible to move down just really hard, until then you see the slope is cut off, what's past there you're unsure 

Merlinchecks his pack. Looks like I’ve got a rope. 

Loreth looks through his pack pulling out 50 feet of rope “we could tie them together and reach the bottom”
