"Huh."

Dornikal says as he looks at the extra eye on Randy's forehead

"That's probably something we should get Kreldoran to look at too."

He gives Ulmwin a glance of concern.

Ulmwin's mouth drops. He just nods softly.

"Err... Yeah. This is something I'd expect from Holger, not..."

With the time dilation and portals and weird stuff, Ulmwin is certainly struck by the similarities to what he's seen with Holger nearby before... But he's struck by a worrying thought... what if Holger was never the cause, but is just more sensitive to the chaos, so was merely exhibiting symptoms more strongly? He's not sure that's entirely right, but with the sorcerer falling sick to his magic, if this is something affecting the entire plane... or planes...

Randy looks confused. "What are you.....?"  He gently feels around his forehead, flinching a bit when he notices that  he can still see his fingers when they're well above his eye brows.  
"Anyone got a mirror?" he weakly asks.

"Yeah, there is, erm... A little something on your head," he says, still not sure how to even bring this up. Eventually he just flat out says "You got a third eye there."

"I have... A crazy theory, but no real proof. Strange things are happening, that's for certain."

Dornikal holds up the polished back of his shield to work as mirror. He offers,

"It, uh, looks okay though. Like yer other ones. Ye like hats? Aye think ye'd look good in a hat. Or maybe a bandana, get one that matches yer clothes..."

Randy briefly experiments with trying to close his eyes independently, sighs, and pulls his elven cloak up and forward so that most of his face is shaded. "I don't think I want to particularly be noticed for now."

"Maybe the weird stuff was never Holger. Holger just had an affinity for the strange. And if the strange is getting so bad that he gets sick..."

"Like a canary in a coal mine? Maybe.  But...it IS Holger we're talking about."

"That's what I would say until someone spontaneously grew a third eye in front of me!" 

"Anyway, we should, erm, finish closing the portal yeah?" 

Randy sighs. "What the heck, I might as well get a third ear to match."

Randy hears some metallic clattering coming from his backpack.

With some alarm, Randy quickly dumps his pack and cautiously uses an arrow to flip open the flap to peer inside.

A little metal arm reaches out to hold up the flap further as Randy's mess kit scampers out, a pair of spindly legs holding it up and two little metal arms sticking out to the side. The lid opens and closes as it clatters and turns towards Randy, seemingly waiting for something. 

Dornikal looks exceedingly skeptical about the third ear,

"Aye didn't think ye could get a third ear anywhere that'd look aesthetically pleasing. The eye at least preserves yer symmetry. Mostly."

(has this been happening with each time randy hits? Is the portal actually showing any sign of weakening?)
