Kirin - Level 15 High Elf Wizard (Evocation) - Zorg's Lost Souls - Overchannel Steel Wind Strike for the Win against Demogorgon Silas - Level 11 Human Cleric (War Domain) - Tomb of Annihilation Done
Gaetana stares at Anvil for a moment after his retort on resting places, then burst out laughing. Sounds strange in the quiet almost tomblike room they are in. "Man, Anvil, you sure had me going. I wondered why you would ask about burying these, these things!" she continues to softly chuckle to herself while awaiting what they find in the sarcophagus.
Working together you both put your considerable strength into moving the lid but it just dent seem to budge, almost like there is some force holding it in place. Perhaps it could be removed by some other means.
"This is some magic garage. It ain't moving otherwise," Sulfas states as he let go abruptly and massages his fingers.

"It is either too heavy for us or magically sealed," Anvil says. "Either way we do not have the means to open it."
He looks back out of the room.
"We should continue on and find a more secure place to recharge," he says with a glance at the sarcophagus. "This could open on its own if something sleeps inside."
As soon as he says the last he pauses, looking carefully at the stone structure.
He reaches out and raps hard on it as if knocking on a door.
"Hello," he calls into the coffin. "Is anyone inside?"
Anvil shrugs at the lack of an answer from the sarcophagus. He turns his attention to the 4 tapestries that show the images of different dwarves. Anvil looks behind each one for signs of any hidden panels or alcoves, failing that he turns his attention to the tapestries themselves, looking for anything that might be hidden in the weave.

Gaetana holds back a chuckle as the warforged actually knocks on the sarcophagus. Well, that's a new way of working the problem she thinks. But when she sees what he tries next she decides to help him (not sure how you want to do that? Anvil can either roll again or use my roll of perception below?)
The 4 tapestries hang from ceiling to floor. The weaving on each is detailed and intricate. The first you look at depicts a dwarf wearing a forge smock and leather gloves. In his left hand is a pair of forge tongs and his right holds a beautiful, flawlessly crafted hammer covered in runes. The name "Kirn" appears at the bottom. The second tapestry, at first glance, doesn't appear to have a name. Only when looking straight at it does the name "Rammorlun" appear. Itbears a dwarf similar in appearance to the first but wearing heavy armor that is dark and shadowy as if it doesn't have any weight or substance to it. In his one had is a wand while the other grips a curved staff. The third holds the image of a wild, untamed dwarf, the name "Dorboth" weaved in letters below. His beard and hair are ragged and caked with mud and dirt. His armor is made of leather and studded and he holds in one hand a primitive looking flute or whistle, while the other holds a notched battleaxe. Behind him you can see images of a lion, a hawk and a remorhaz. The final tapestry shows a dwarf is blazingly polished plate mail armor emblazoned with a very simple hammer in front of an Anvil. The name "Hendrik" adorns the bottom. The rest of the room bears nothing further other than some beautifully crafted wall sconces holding candles.
Anvil's hand lingers over the image of the forge tongs and crafted hammer.
He speaks the names as he reads them, "Kirn, Rammorlun, Dorboth, Hendrik."
Anvil then turns to the others.
"Four founders of some sort, but only one sarcophagus," Anvil says. "A puzzle. I suggest we continue. Establishing the life force status of our employers is still our primary objective."
"Agreed. I was hoping you'd come to that conclusion, eventually!" Gaetana, obviously annoyed that they were taking so long in this room and needed to get moving. With that said, she heads out.
There are no other exits from this room so you all return the way you came going thru the burned library back into the room where you encountered the last group of cultists. Taking the opposite exit from that room you move down a long hallway coming into a small room roughly 15 x 20. Most of the room is taken up by an open pit in the middle.

Kirin - Level 15 High Elf Wizard (Evocation) - Zorg's Lost Souls- Overchannel Steel Wind Strike for the Win against DemogorgonSilas - Level 11 Human Cleric (War Domain) - Tomb of AnnihilationDoneAnvil turns his head, and then proceeds to walk around the entire sarcophagus, looking for anything as simple as a lock they've missed.
Perception: 31
The sarcophagus is plainly made without a lot of detail, looking very closely you can't find any indication of switch or hidden lock.
The metallic, war-forged cleric stares at the sarcophagus for a few moments in silence. He then turns away and looks at the others.
"I do not know how to open it," Anvil begins. "There is a high probability that Sulfas is correct. A magical seal may be in place."
“Don’t look at me, I have no way of opening it magically. Sorry” Gaetana shrugs, “Shall we continue on? See if we can find Flax?”
Gruno will check closer, checking for any kind of mechanism holding it closed.
Investigation: 20
You feel pretty confident that you give it a good look but wont find any mechanisms.
Anvil looks about the room one more time.

You listen for a moment..... and silence.
