Fenly turns to the others and whispers, "I hear something coming from a passage to the west a short distance up this one. Be ready I will go further, you coming Osmorn?" . He will then slink around the corner and wait before the westward passage, listening intently to see if it is more voices and if so if he understands what is being said and how many there are.
Stealth: 22 Perception: 7
(OOC: If the voices sound like they are getting closer, he will turn back to warn the group. If it is a language he doesn't understand does it sound like the previous conversation)
Fenly - The noises do indeed happen to be voices. They don't sound like they're coming from the passage itself, but from behind a door. It is hard to tell from this distance, but it doesn't sound like common nor the orcish you heard earlier.
Fenly will return to the group. "There are voices coming from the western passage. A bit muffled though, possibly those speaking are in another room. I don't recognise what they are saying but I think we should all head that way.I don't really want to go too far alone", he says hoping to get some backup.

Osmorn thanks Fenly for scouting, "Well only one way to find out what those voices are. Glad you made it back, last thing we want is anything unexpected while not together. I can take point, see if I recognize those voices myself."
He then tightens the grip on his rapier again and leads the group toward the west hallway with the voices.
All - The western hall connects with the passage you saw earlier. There are two doors in the north wall, the voices are coming from the eastern door.
Osmorn recognizes the language as Goblin. He hears two voices speaking and understands the following:
"... the human town consists of a number of small homes, a temple, a town hall, and a few various tradesmen that specialize in various trades. What would you like to do?"
"Hmm... Would the temple happen to be in service of Tymora?"
"Yes actually, it would."
"How well guarded is it?
"It is unguarded during the day and guarded by one volunteer with a simple club during the night."
"I'd like to wait until nightfall, then try to sneak inside."
"Sure. Go ahead and make a Stealth check for me please."
*Sounds of dice being rolled*
"Hmm... Seven?"
"The usually sleepy volunteer is surprisingly alert tonight. Let's roll for initiative!"
Osmorn internally chuckles then whispers to his comrades' behind him, "Aw guys they're just goblins playing some silly game it seems. Perhaps we leave these folk alone for now, eh?"
"As long as they don't come to attack us while dealing with other things, let them play for now"Korba says, adding, "Let's see what all we can find before deciding who to deal with."
Osmorn waves for the others to follow him toward the western door and says, "We can always circle back, especially if the next room joins with this one. I could always try to persuade them to work for us if you guys are alright with that. Underlings are always handy."
When he gets to the second door in the hall he turns the handle and peaks in to see what's inside.

Fenly keeps moving forward with Osmorn, going beyond him to cover anything that might come towards them from the West, knowing the others are covering the East.
Osmorn - You're able to approach and open the door without being noticed. Inside, you see a Goblin standing on his tip-toes as he reads aloud in common from a tome set atop an altar. A bored-looking Orc sits against the east wall behind him.
"See? It says right here, All Orcs must obey Goblins. Can't argue with books Urmaz!"
"You know I can't read Gribz..."
"That's why I'm reading it to you! Orcs are born strong and big and Goblins are born clever and wise. You're natural followers and we're natural leaders."
*Snores*
"Hey! Wake up! This is important stuff!"
Beyond the Goblin, there is another door set into the north wall.
Osmorn turns to the group and whispers, "No gargoyles here. Another goblin and an orc about to fall asleep. We could get drop on 'em and check the door on the other side of the room. I don't remember any other entrance toward there."
He mulls over some ideas in his head before piping up once more, "Tarwun. I know you're still hurt, so maybe if you can keep the door with the two goblins closed, we should be safe to get the drop on this orc and goblin without nasties coming from behind. Sound like an idea?"
Osmorn nevertheless gets ready to open the western door and surprise those inside.

Seeing Tarwun brace the other door, Fenly quietly rushes into the room as far as his short legs can carry him, ducking past the goblin and in between it and the orc. Holding his pick at the ready, he waits for Osmorn to follow, hoping his distraction is enough for him to gain an advantage against the goblin. After Osmorn attacks, he is ready to take a swing at the goblin as well, or the orc if Osmorn fells the goblin.

((Does the door swing in, or out? What sort of hand/knob does it have?))

All - Fenly & Osmorn have both gained Surprise upon the Orc and Goblin. What is the party's next move?
Tarwun - The door swings in and has a standard knob. All of the doors have knobs.
Tarwun nods at Osmorn's plan and leans his spear against the wall, placing his shoulder against the wall by the door and grasping the knob.
