Fargen acknowledes to meet at the Cosmic Doe coffee shop and heads to Armor's Shirt near the North Gate.
The weary, though persistant dwarf demonstrates his Metalmaster's badge at the Armor's Shirt. He places 2000 gp before the proprietor.
"40 adamantinearrowheads or their equivalent. I will reshape them for my purpose."
Essentially going to homebrew adamantine spiked armor. Will there enough metal to consider it adamantine armor? It's medium armor, so I'd think yes but unclear if it's more about the spike being an adamantine weapon.
Fargen will reshape 2 arrows -> spikes/day using Artisan's Blessing. He won't be able to wear for 2 more levels, but starting the process...
Fargen arrives at the Cosmic Doe coffee shop, no longer wearing the dragon splint mail. He now wears half-plate marked by Moradin's hammer above the sternum. The dwarf looks about for his companion and is happy to find them and update them of his day.
"Well, how has your time been here in Waterdeep? I'm a member of the Metalmaster's Hall now. I acquired some valuable metal for an armor the smiths call 'Wallbreaker'. It will take some time to craft it and learn how to move like a batterager. There were once many battle ragers, but to embrace and temper fury...this is something Moradin does not often ask. What news of the group we are pursuing?"
Kissa uncurled from the chair she had been dozing on, " There was a dragon person....and um, some people in an alley......I don't think we have much news. I like this drink."
"I-Indeed, it's uh... wasn't much to go on. A-and admittedly, I'm not entirely convinced the two events are n-necessarily connected. Though, i-it was rather stranger where that one ward was placed that poor Yanda fell victim to." Nobody cups his chin betwixt thumb and index finger as languid tail curled about a leg of his seat.
"Most O-odd indeed. Oh! But, uh, congratulations for becoming a member, F-fargen. I, uh... I..." He trails off for a second or two pondering what even 'is' a 'Battle Rager'(History: 16). But even if something should come to mind, the tiefling ultimately shook his head before focusing again on the present. "In a-any event, if we're to learn more of this draconic fellow, n-now may curiously be the best time for it. The m-most dangerous time as well too! But, uh, i-if you really want to find someone in a city as large as W-waterdeep, you only r-really have three good options. Hire an investigator, though that m-might take up too much time. Speak with th-the right member of the Zhentarim, though that tends t-to be a... a smidge costly, from what I've heard. Or j-just a-ask around and, uh... hope you don't get led into some dark alley and t-taken of all your possessions." At that last point, he smiles sheepishly and taps the tip of his spidery fingers against one another. "O-or we can just find a place to stay for the night first and figure things out come the morrow. P-personally that's my choice, b-but, uhh... i-it's been a while since I've been in the city, and I wouldn't mind st-staying up a bit late."

Nobody mainly feigned drinking to keep up appearance, as he didn't want to be to amped up as he was already nervous enough. Though, at some point, he would've summoned Yanda and let him drink in his stead. Would coffee be bad for flying monkeys? No idea! But in Nobody's state at the time, he wouldn't have thought too much about it. Same deal for any paid for pastries.
"Uhh, th-that sounded pretty ominous, but fair enough." Nobody finally turns to the waitress with a half-smile and holds up two fingers. "Two, uh, of those cream filled pastries to go, please. A-and, uh, you wouldn't happen to know of a decent place nearby to spend the night?"

Fargen ushers his companions out of the Cosmic Doe. "Dragon person, eh? What type of dragon, not blue like our old companion?"
When the group arrives at the Golden Harp Inn, Fargen first seeks out the Innkeeper. "We'll take 3 comfortable rooms for the evening. Or a private shared room that could accommodate the three of us. I have a horse outside as well..."
Fargen pays for the gold for the meal and lodging for his companions, happy to spend some of the excess gold from his armor exchanges. (Wealthy meal & lodging x3 : 8.4 gp)
"Dinner and lodging on me, friends. It may be the best meal and sleep you get for a while once we hit the road again."
Even if a few silver pieces might've been enough for the take off, Nobody offers up a dragon(gold piece) with a soft smile and says to the waitress, "K-keep the change", before turning on Fargen again. "U-uhm... u-uncertain, but likely! O-or perhaps even a half-dragon? H-hard to say, but we'll find out before long I-I'm certain!" He assured the dwarf.
Yanda happily snatches up the pastries once they reach the table, and might've immediately began devouring one were it not for a bit of a stern look from the tiefling. In spite of such chastising, the flying monkey nevertheless made his way to Nobody's shoulder well before the group's eventual arrival at the Inn. The matter of meal and lodging is one Nobody happily leaves to Fargen, as the tiefling was no social butterfly. "T-t-true enough, Fargen. Mystra only knows how much I've awaited such comforts." He rubs at his back, remembering a particular not-so-fond memory of the few nights of rock strewn dirt. "Speaking of dirt, I-I don't suppose you happen to come across any on the you know what while you w-were out shopping, were you?" Nobody whispered the moment the clerk seemed distracted.
The elven Inn keeper accepts your coin, at the Golden Harp Inn, and directs you to your rooms "Dinner will be served, in an hour, try to dress, proper, we will send someone to lead you to your seats." he pauses, then says "Course, you could attend the High Flagon Gambling House down the street, instead." Meanwhile, a Harp is heard playing from somewhere above, unseen.
Fargen scoffs at the idea of being 'proper'. "I'll wait for dinner. I've had my fill of shifty folk on the road. Don't need to go looking for more thieves at the gambling house."
"B-but it m-may be a good place to start. A-and I doubt they'll be much a mind to take on, ehh, vi-v-visitors in the morn." Nobody quietly claims. "Th-th-that said! I-It's not as if we, or a-at least I don't have much in the way of coin for such a place." He said with a bit of a nervous chuckle to his voice towards the end. He then curtly turns to to Kissa and assures, "I-I wouldn't worry too much. A-a bit of sprucing up and, uhm, m-maybe changing into something cleaner would suffice. I-I could, uhh, make available a bit of hedge magic to make the cleaning process a touch easier. B-but it is my understanding that most prefer a, mmm..... a less brisk process."
"U-up to you, a-and of course you are welcome to such as w-well, Fargen, if you so wish." Nobody is quick to assert. At that, unless the others wanted a bit of magically clean up, the tiefling and his familiar more than happily hurry to their room, eager to take advantage of the accommodations! But not without taking a few minutes more to further secure as much of their sleeping area to be with a silent alarm set to trigger against anything as large as a halfling and larger still.
