Grudnik listens to the newcomer introduce himself and explain his purpose here. "It seems this whole area is beset by were-creatures, if there is indeed one here as well. Unless your store is selling some repellant, I would move on", he says with a little chuckle. "I am Grudnik, also looking to make coin"
He notices Eldin take a look after the girl, and matches stride with him heading toward the library. "Did you see where she went?", he asks as they walk.
Sanctity repeats what they said to the libarian, hoping that she does not ignore them this time. I do not want to be by myself with such beasts. “I heard that you may have some quests, or need aid with something for coin.”
”Also do you know of the spirit of the fountian? And if there is any reeard for getting rid of it?”
Ms. Wails moves in closer to you, very secretive like, "Who sent you?" She questions, her small smile disappearing.

"Imagine nerfing wizards so they can't cast ritual spells even if they don't have the prepared AND making it so they can't change their spells after every long rest. Oh yeah, that's my DM..."
- Elanorela, the Gnome Monk (Mercy) Wizard (Bladesinger) with a base AC of 17
"I wanted to say I told you so, but my god wouldn't allow it..."
- Sebastian, the Half-Elf Sorcerer (Draconic Bloodline) that is the victim of many 7 damage attacks. (His max HP is, you guessed it, 7)
The librarian props her glasses upward and retreats to her seat. She searches through her drawers until she comes across a stack of paper.
"Of course she did, always looking for trouble! That girl always is looking for new recruits for the Adventuring Sage's Guild, I tell you! Half of you folk don't even look interested at all about this place" Ms. Wails takes a long sigh, until she looks back up from her paper, handing you a stack of ID cards (About 6? 7-ish?), "If you wanna follow through, you need to fill out these cards; Name, race, age, and any basic allies or organizations you are associated with. You can pass 'em around to your friends. Once you do that, you may browse the library and, if you are up for it, you can get your first assignment." The librarian looks up to the group, "Happy adventuring, kids, hope ya see it through."

Ms. Wails rolls her eyes, "We are not here to take any gold from anybody; We just want information about your previous adventures to see if you know anything about ..."
The librarian leans in again to whisper something, looking left and right to see any eavesdroppers,
" ... the Regali Clan"
None of you seem to recognize the name, but a simple Intelligence Check maybe provide some insight into the clan.
"And if you come by any of our Elder Members, they could probably get you something like shelter or a new job."

Grudnik considers this information, wracking his brain for anything about any Regali Clan.
Intelligence: 10
Filling in a form for the opportunity to work seems ok to him, he has no affiliations these days anyway. "I'll take one of those", he says taking a card. "Although I will need something to write with".
It seems Grudnik couldn't recall anything about a Regali Clan, but as he asked for a writing device, he was promptly handed a makeshift-ish pencil by the librarian.
"I will most certainly need that back, but for now, you newbies may use it." She turns back to a large stack of paper and books to her right, muttering something else underneath her breath (Dwarfish), "Damned artificers, always wanting something new done for this place..."

Stann retrieves from his mind a story that someone told him a sizable time ago.
The Regali Clan is what is birthed from the previous war; An ... alliance between the two main kingdoms per se. But lately, the two who rule over the clan had become corrupt. The couple, the princess and prince, had turned evil and improper, overthrowing their post cursors and causing havoc with bandits and anybody who was willing to listen to their twisted intent. With their crazy and mad delusions, they are feared by everyone in thier effective range. Not to worry too much, however, these people haven't gotten powerful enough to reign over the area you are in.
...
Amihan can simply tell that these people seem bad ... really bad.

Sanctity looks over thier shoulders and writes down on a blank parchement. “I cannot provide most of this information. I escaped a terrible place and fear I will be tracked if this information is given.”
Stann waits for a writing implement to become available and slowly starts writing, the quill looked too small for his large hands.
Stann Bugbear 20
Probably 'ought to leave out the criminal bits.... Stann gave the paper back to the Librarian and immediately feigned interest in a nearby shelf of books. "Identify: Avoiding curses for dummies, Stick with the Group! A cautionary tale, Friend or Foe? How to avoid Friendly Fire a book for barbarians..." he was slowly sounding out each word as read the titles.
Collectively, Sanctity knows that the Regali clan is an alliance clan that was based on the marriage of the two main power countries in the post-war. They got corrupted by some evil force and turned to use bandits to raid locals. Let's hope they don't pillage this town next...

As Stann reads outward, he hears footsteps approaching him to his side. A scrawny, grey-skinned man comes forth to you, with a multitude of books propped in his hands.
"Survival Techniques with Ed Quinn is a great read ... it taught me a lot of things. Mr. Quinn is an expert on anything in forests, he retired a few months ago, after his service in the war. Umm ... you don't have to read it though; This library has a lot more to explore than just a survival book." He pulls his books against his chest and moves back to another aisle of books like everyone does this every day here.

Brenward fills out a card for Eldin Phillander. On the card, it is noted that Eldin served in the war, until his service ended after he took an arrow to the knee. Mr. Phillander has spent time since then in various financial ventures throughout the area, with his first job after his time in the war being as a guard. He then opened a couple stores in other small towns.
Intelligence check: 11
After filling out the card, Brenward will move into the library looking for books about ghosts. perception16
Stann gives up reading the nonsense titles and walks over behind his smaller goblin kin, 'e's not gettin' work without me!! "An who pays us when we get done?"
