"Ooof!!" Noey lands on her back, clutching her healing potion. She blows her hair out of her face, glaring at the blue light. "Yeah. I'm done." She climbs to her feet and goes back to the table where the group was originally sitting, and plops into her chair. Taking the list of scavenger hunt items, she reads it again, then carefully folds it into a paper airplane and sends it towards the blue light.
Sleight of Hand: 17
...she smiles with satisfaction as it glides smoothly a long way... then gets her cards out and starts playing solitaire, at which she blatantly cheats, winning every game.
"You're much more polite than most first years." The gnome digs through her pockets and hands a trinket out to each of them. Rhydian receives a stylish silver pin with Strixhaven's logo on it, Amber receives a small leather notepad, and Noey receives an iridescent quill with a magic vial of ink. "Here you go. I dug those out of some of the old student's supplies."
"I imagine most are too much in a rush to recall their manners. Although it seems as if those in charge of the hunt didn't co-ordinate with you well. I'm sure we'll see you often enough."
With a final wave, he'll head over to the garden area and start patting around them with his hands, tail, and mage hand.
After picking up the stuffed animal and putting it in her pack, Bryella heads to the stage and sees if anything is a miss. If nothing pops out at her, she heads to the microphone/podium area and looks closer.
She notices another first year standing on the stage. He has bright red hair and blue eyes, and holds a bundle of flyers in one hand.
"Hi!" Bryella walks up to the first year excited to have the audience of another person, "My name is Bryella, what's yours?"
He nods curtly. "I'm Quentillius. Quentillius Antiphiun Melentor III. Would you be interested in joining the Playactor's Drama Guild?"
“Would I ever!! That sounds like fun!” Then remembering why she was here, she asks him about the last clue, “This mean anything to you? Oh and my full name is Bryella Fireforge. Very pleased to meet you!”
He hands her a flyer. "Here you go. For the last clue, you have to say or sing a line from a book, poem, or song."
Bryella walks up to the microphone and with complete confidence belts out in terrible off-key tonation "And Bryella loved with all her might, though is was rarely enough it was time to send her away-ay-ay, time to send her away-ay-ay" She looks at Quentilius with a bright smile and asks, "Like that? That was the ending to the song our bard at home had made about me." she appears oblivious to the actual meaning of the song.
After entering the auditorium, Tulli spots Bryella and heads over to her in time to catch the end of Quentillius' comment.
"Hi, Bryella! Hi, guy I've never seen before! So, Bryella, do you want to do the performing thing? Wait! Can we both do it? I've heard a bunch of bard songs! I'm, uh, not actually good at singing, but...passion is important, right?"
"Don't worry," Quentillius says. "You don't have to sing to act. I'm Quentillius Antiphiun Melentor III. You are?"
“Hi, I’m Tulli! Tulli Murk. I’m the Destroying Angel! Nice to meet you! Your name is cooolll! What do we have to do?”

Quentillius winces. "It was interesting." A ring of lanterns appear around the stage, a candle flickering in each of them. However, one of the candle is not inside a lantern.

Bryella says thanks!! And then when looking at the lanterns, she turns to her new friends and asks what it means that one doesn’t have a candle
Does she see Quentillius passing out flyers for the Playactors Guild?
Only if she heads up to the stage.

Quentillius nods. "It is. But there's nothing wrong with that. Besides, having a title or stage name is always fun."

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Bryella asks Quentilian, "Why does one of the lanterns not have a candle?"
*It's the other way around, sorry. One of the candles isn't in a lantern.*
