Pepper smiles as the javelin flies well wide of her, then growls as others find their targets among her companions. She crouches and sizes up the fight before making her move.
OOC > Pepper in clean up position works fine for her. I'm just posting cause I'm bored!

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
(@Mingofaust - Yes - I did reduce Pepper's HP on your sheet - please adjust based on the Parry - although I don't see the dice roll result =) Likewise, Caelyn, please adjust your damage on your sheet, since I forgot you have resistance to piercing and slashing damage =)
OOC > The result was 8... I'm going to just leave it unparsed (rather then edit and repost, because who knows what will happen then, the universe might implode)

"Get up, Caelyn! We need you!" Ashe calls, his words augmented with healing power. He then looks at the yellow bugbear and says, "Stay away from my squad, you big furry oaf!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
With a wordless growl, Cyril darts forward to intercept the bugbear moving towards Pernach and Kira. As he closes the gap, he whips his staff in a rapid circle, using the built up momentum to send a heavy strike at the enemy's head, followed in rapid succession by a spinning heal quick, before dropping into a crouch to send another whirling strike at the bugbear's knee.
Moving forward to the Green bugbear.
Two-Hand Quarterstaff, 7 to hit, 10 bludgeoning damage.
Spend one Ki for Flurry of Blows.
Unarmed Strike, 9 to hit, 8 bludgeoning damage.
Second Unarmed Strike, 21 to hit, 8 bludgeoning damage.
As the javelin soars to Caelyn it causes a deep cut in her leg as it grazes her. While she looks down she barely noticed the bugbear rushing at her taking her down with a heavy blow.
She falls back down shaking her head to recover from the dazed feeling, she notices the gash on her leg not bleed but ooze a bit of slimey blood. When she bends to take a closer look Ashe's healing wave washes over her and the magic closes the wound nicely. WIth the warmth of the heal still on her she looks to Ashe Thank you!
Still sitting on her ass she turns back to face the bugbear and she pushes off with her feet to roll backwards out of the bugbears range moving back a few steps to get to her feet.
Getting some room to pull back her bow aiming for the yellow bugbear but sees on the side that Pepper also got ambushed, she struggles a moment deciding then moves her aim a few degrees to the left. Aiming for the red bugbear and releasing her arrow.
As the arrow flies away she drops her bow and takes out her rapier, moving her gaze back to the yellow bugbear and pointing the blade at the bugbear to taunt him.
Bonus action: Disengage Movement: 15 ft or so back just out of range of the yellow bugbears melee Action: Longbow vs red bugbear Attack: 21 Damage: 16
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kira stands there stunned by the sudden onslaught...
The red bugbear roars and moves into melee range with Pepper, swinging its massive morningstar. Attack: 24 Damage: 22
The green one moves closer and throws its second javelin at (2; 1=Kira, 2=Pernach; 3=Ashe; 4=Cyril) Attack: 5 Damage: 4
The yellow bugbear follows red, but attacks Caelyn! Attack: 24 Damage: 18
Ashe voices his concern and support for Caelyn, sending healing energy through his voice and words! He then turns those words, viciously mocking the yellow monster. (DC14 Wis: 1)
Caelyn, who should have been knocked unconscious by the massive blow from the bugbear, instead discovers that she takes much less damage than expected! The oozing blood is a bit weird, but...she spares no more time to figure it out and executes a swift disengaging roll, coming to her feet and smoothly releasing an arrow at the red bugbear.
Cyril is a blur of movement, using his staff, hands, and feet in a crazy fast display or martial prowess! Unfortunately, he only lands one blow, but it's a solid strike.
The blue bugbear moves next to his green buddy and attacks Cyril with its morningstar. Attack: 23 Damage: 12
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Pepper spits blood as she drops her bow and draws both longswords, spinning around the bugbear as it staggers from Caelyn's arrow until she is behind it, laying into it as she goes.
Move: SE, NE to the opposite side of the bugbear Action: attack red bugbear with longsword. 17 to hit, for 8 slashing damage Bonus Action: attack red bugbear with other longsword. 17 to hit, for 9 slashing damage
(Oof. The popups on the rolls I just made above are screwy. I see 17 to hit for 7 dmg, popups say (16+8=24 and 7+4=11), and then 26 (critical) to hit for 8 dmg, popups say (nothing, it spins forever and 3+1+4=8, terrible crit dmg, but whatever) and after I post this I'm going to reload the page and see what it says...)
(No changes on reload or after editing and saving (making no changes) incl. no tampered dice banner... editing showed that the first roll was 1d20+6, not 1d20+8, like the popup implies. Getting very tired of the screwy js routines.)
Kira shakes herself out of the shock and calls upon some of her magic, casting an illuminating Faerie Fire onto as many of the bugbears as she can. (DEX save, DC 15)
Kira's trance is broken and she attempts to cast a glowing outline on as many bugbears as she can, targeting the blue and green ones but potentially catching Cyril in the spell's area of effect too (either Cyril or Pepper will be in the spell AoE if you want to get more than 1 bugbear...) (DC15 Dex -- Blue save:3 Green save:19Cyril save:??)
Ugghhh...wonky banner again. So the original rolls had Pepper taking 13 damage from the first attack (figure you'll use your Parry reaction to reduce that and not be knocked unconcious!), Cyril took 10 damage, and the 2nd attack on Pepper missed.

Pepper yelps as the bugbear connects with its morningstar, but manages to bring her longbow up to parry, deflecting it a little.

I'm hoping that my 22 hit the green bugbear? If so, he should be down another 15hp
Pepper uses her swords to parry the attack!
