CON save vs Stunning Strike:  18

Nalomanterys' icy blast catches the yuan-ti as he is squaring up with Meili, a frosty sheen spreading across its scales.  This yuan-ti now looks injured.

The three mercenaries who spoke to Danica and Mica dash off to the northwest, passing Ran and disengaging from the battle momentarily.  

Of the two crossbowmen near the elephant, the one who had been enchanted drops back into cover and hastily puts back on his sword belt and recovers his crossbow and bolts.  The other, shaking his head in disgust at his weak-willed comrade, leans over the elephant and fires a bolt at the Yuan-ti under attack by Mica's dinosaur.

Crossbow Attack:  10  (Miss)

He curses and rolls back into half cover.

The animal handler grips her sword, and looks prepared to charge across the trail, until Mica's words reach her.  Instead, she scuttles into cover behind the elephant and fires a crossbow bolt of her own at the nearest  yuan-ti malison (type 1).

Crossbow Attack:  17  Piercing Damage:  2

The blue-headed  yuan-ti malison (type 3)s then spring into action.  The one Danica attacked last round calmly aims a poisoned arrow at her and lets it fly.

Then it moves southeast until it is south of Meili's location.

Across the trail, the yuan-ti attacked by the dinosaur lowers its bow and draws a scimitar, slashing at the beast spirit.

Scimitar Attack:  15  Slashing Damage:  8

The last  yuan-ti malison (type 3) looks back and forth between the dinosaur, and the mercenaries hiding in half cover and hisses in disgust.  It steps out onto the trail until it has a clear line of sight behind the obstacle of the dead elephant and targets the already wounded crossbowman.

Attack:  14  (Miss)

... but cannot connect.

Ran manages just to get into the thick of what’s going on before everyone charges off in different directions again. He’s seriously contemplating just sitting down until an opponent comes his way.

But he spots the snake heads converging on Danica and Meili and decides to trot that way.

(Looks too far to get to and engage with anyone so will move 30’ and then dodge.  

Round 3

The  yuan-ti malison (type 3)s [post 2502 should reference type 1s instead of type 3s] on the far side of the trail turn their arrows on the mystical dinosaur spirit attack one of their number.

Those three  yuan-ti malison (type 3)s then spread out, with two on either flank looking to get a line of sight around the elephant cover for next turn.

The  yuan-ti malison (type 3) that had been lurking on the trail to the NE takes two shots at one of the mercenaries hiding behind the elephant.  Both miss (7 , 9).  Then is cuts SW through the jungle, between Mica and the three mercenaries who departed last round.

The final  yuan-ti malison (type 3), which Meili had been pummeling, looks her in the eyes.  "Thisss isss dangerousss busssinessss.  You ssshould find sssomplacsse sssafe to hide."

For a split second Meili's calm facade dropped replaced with an expression of uncertainty. But she immediately collected herself.

"In your dream, snake!" The sword and the boot struck again.

Attack: 9 Damage: 4

Relieved that they wouldn't be fighting against everyone, Danica focuses on the snake she had been aiming for and then curses as she misses abysmally with her vine. 
But then hearing another Yuan-Ti attempting to suggest Meili, the elf's head snaps to the side and she rushes at it, drawing her scimitar. "Not even in dreams." Danica adds with deadly promise, flanking the creature with her crewmate as she slashes. 

Movement: South to flank the Yuan-ti with Meili

Mica winces as the fey raptor falls under a hail of arrows and slowly fades from sight.  He pulls his bow from across his back and nocks an arrow, encouraging the mercenaries huddled with him behind the elephant. “Gang up on that blue headed bastard in the middle of the trail.  Focus our shots and we can take one out.”  He fires two arrows toward the Type 1 standing in the trail.

Attack: 6 Damage: 7.

Attack: 13 Damage: 7 plus 2 colossus slayer damage if both hit.

Nalomanterys enchants some sort of jungle acorn to fly like a bullet at the snakeman directly to his north. catapult level 1

Dex save 15 or take 7 bludgeoning damage

Nalomanterys' spell strikes the Yuan-ti bowman.  It connects with the scaly shoulder of the humanoid with a meaty thunk.  Serpent eyes turn in the wizard's direction.

Meili and Danica rain blows down upon the devious Yuan-ti who'd tried to enchant the monk.  Though not dead, the enemy looks critically injured.  

[Danica, your sheet still showed full 35hp.  By my count, from arrows in this fight you are down to 6hp at the moment.  If I've got that wrong, let me know.  Otherwise, the DM wanted to make sure you realized you'd taken some hits in this battle.]

Mica's first shot doesn't instill much confidence in the crossbowmen, but his second arrow flies true and wounds the blue-headed snakeman.

The three mercenary swordsmen continue to disengage, pursuing their goal of circling around and flanking the Yuan-ti.  The Crossbowman follow Mica's suggestion and concentrate fire on the exposed Yuan-ti.

The yuan-ti malison (type 1) returns fire, again targeting the wounded crossbowman.

Though not yet slain, the man seems mortally wounded, drawing in ragged breaths as the poison courses through his veins.  [These attacks reduce him to 1 hp.]  This Yuan-ti then moves back into the treeline on the north side.

Across the trail, the other blue headed snake man slithers closer.  He calls out to the elephant handler.  "We have antidotesss for the venom in your beassst and alliesss and will ssshare it if you sssurender now.  There may ssstill be time to sssave them."

WIS Save vs suggestion:  7  She shakes her head as if in confusion, then lays a hand on the elephant's lifeless side.  WIS Save vs suggestion (granting advantage since the elephant is clearly dead and she saw the last person who surrendered get peppered with arrows...): 18

"No..." she says quietly, remaining in cover.

The last yuan-ti malison (type 1) south of Meili and Danica, fires another arrow at Danica, but misses (6).  It lets out a frustrated hiss, then moves 30' west.  Looking to eliminate the softer, magical target instead, it fires its 2nd arrow at Nalomanterys.

Ran sees the snake-head heading towards Nalomanterys and moves down to intercept before he can get there.

"Why did we choose this side?" Ran says to everyone and no one at the same side.

His longswords spin into motion now that he actually has an enemy in range. Striking again and again at the snake-head, taking a breath and slashing out once more.

Bonus Action - Dual Wield - Two Weapon - Attack: 23 Damage: 5  

Using one Superiority Die for the Bonus Action - Precision Attack - add to the attack roll: 8  

Ran heads off the south-most Yuan-ti before it can get any closer to Nalomanterys.  It easily avoids his first sword strike, but Ran's practiced two-handed swordplay overcomes the serpent's defenses and he lands a couple of hits.

Most of the  yuan-ti malison (type 3)s continue to spread out and target the crouching mercenaries.

One remains on the other side of the trail and its attacks are still subject to half cover, missing (17, 14).

Another targets the severely wounded crossbowman.

The mercenary collapses, nearly 10 arrows piercing his body.  

The two  yuan-ti malison (type 3)s to the west target the other crossbowman to Mica's left.

The last  yuan-ti malison (type 3), beaten and surrounded by Meili and Danica, disengages and moves 30' back into the jungle.

"Not so fast!" If Meili learned anything in these jungles by now, it's that letting even one enemy escape will bring more trouble. She ran after the snake and attacked again.

The fleeing Yuan-ti is overwhelmed by Meili's assault, collapsing to the ground with a final, exaggerated twitch from its long tail.

Mica, seeing his arrows are not very effective and not wanting to get into an archery duel in the jungle, pulls his hand axes and charges west toward the Type 3 standing along the trail.  Before he leaves, he encourages the mercenaries with him “You, bandage his wounds and stabilize him” he points to the fallen crossbowmen “We will see to him after the battle, and you,"  he points to the animal handler "cover me with your crossbow and let’s push these snakes back to get them some room. I will be right back.”  Mica closes the distance to the Type 3 and slashes the creature across the midsection.

Bonus action TWF Attack: 20 Damage: 9. plus 3 colossus slayer damage. 

(It looks like he is within his 30 foot movement range, but let me know if I am off.)

[Me as a player wanted so bad for you to be wrong DM, but looked through the posts and damn if I'm blind, I'm blind... Genuine thanks for pointing that out. Yep Danica is at 6 HP, sorry guys.]

The adrenaline of the fight was starting to wane the longer the fight drug on and Danica was becoming painfully aware now that there were arrows sticking into her. It hurt more than she thought they had any right to...poison?? Seeing Meili cut down the one that attempted to run away from them filled her with satisfaction, but there were still so many... Gritting her teeth angrily as she's hit once more, the elf cries out in frustration and bursts into starlight as she takes her Starry Form. The light immediately shooting from the center of her sternum out to fling towards the Yuan-ti north of her.

Panting, the celestial painted druid rubs close to where one of the arrows had pierced her side and murmurs a prayer to Selune to heal her enough to help keep up in the fight. It was obvious that other than the mercenaries that she had chosen for them to help, that she was the only one struggling. She couldn't be the one to drag the Seekers down any further. She had to keep up.

Hearing Ran's question, Danica chuckles darkly and replies, "What can I say? I'm a sucker for underdogs." Chin down in determination, Danica jogs over in the direction of where the mercenaries were huddled, but not paying them any mind. Only keeping eyes out for the further threats to the north east. Trusting Ran to handle himself until he says otherwise and with her back to the mercenaries, she stares down the Yuan-ti between them and Nalomanterys.

Nalomanterys barely notices the arrow nick his side, but then cries out shrilly in pain as the poison immediately goes to work. "Aaaagh! You - you - you cullion-faced bastard! I'll kill you!" he gasps out, half in tears. With an especially angry gesture, he magically flings the offending arrow right back at the snakeman who shot him. (the one that Ran is currently attacking).

Nalomanterys is above half health, but by his pained whines, you'd think he was on death's door.

Nalomanterys' spell strikes the blue-headed Yuan-ti, which now finds itself under fire from him and under assault from Ran.  Nalomanterys' notices it seemed... harder than he expected to hit, but managed to push his spell through.  [Nalomanterys would likely recognize the Yaun-ti are resistant to magic... in this case it still failed its save even with advantage.]

Mica and Danica both injure the Yaun-ti on the game trail, leaving it badly wounded and looking to retreat.

The crossbowman hears Mica's instructions, but after taking a look at the fallen mercenary, he instead lowers his crossbow and draws a longsword and a shortsword, charging the other Yuan-ti on the far side of the elephant.  "The eagle soars ever higher!" he cries.

The animal handler, seeing the other mercenary ignore the fallen man, also examines him, but she too quickly abandons that idea, loading her crossbow again in support of Mica, attacking the Yuan-ti he is engaged with.

Unfortunately her bolt goes wide, disappearing into the palm leaves with a 'flit'.

Across the trail, you can almost feel the blue-headed Yaun-ti's smiles as Mica emerges from cover and into the trail. They both draw down on him with their bows.

They then retreat slightly, 15' deeper into the jungles on the north side of the trail.

The last blue-headed Yuan-ti, engaged with Ran, keeps its bow in its hands as it looks at him with hypnotic eyes.  "Your wizssard is sssoft and hurt.  You ssshould go ssstand by it'sss ssside and protect it."

Suggestion:  Ran must succeed on a DC 13 WIS save, or be influenced to go and protect Nalomanterys.

Ran suddenly feels the compulsion to go stand closer to Nalomanterys and he runs back that way.

However, once there when he thinks about what it means to protect the wizard, he decides that means protecting him from the current enemy, the blue-headed Yuan-ti.

He quickly puts down his swords, swings up his heavy crossbow from where it hangs at his waist, loads a bolt and fires it back at the yuan-ti he had just been standing beside.

Movement - 30' to stand by Nalomanterys.
