The northern mass of zombies trudge through the difficult terrain of Danica'svines. Their number who was restrained manages to rip the plants free from its feet.
The zombies to the south all shamble slowly but inevitably forward, all but the zombie remains struck in Mica'shunting trap. Two of the zombies head north toward the center of camp, while two head east in pursuit of Velan.

That was a hard blow! Meili was surprised she could still stand straight, realizing at the same time, that it was definitely not for long. The magical darts left three glaring wounds, and if she planned to fight, that wounds had to be dressed first.
First aid did not take long (she could do at least that with acceptable speed), but it did take time. After the fast and tight bandaging, she joined Mica at the front.
Spending one charge of the Healer's kit (using Healer feat): 7 + 2
Mica staggers under the force of the magical blows. He is not sure how much more of that he can take.
Concentration Saves: 19, 5, 18.

Feeling the speed from his spell slip away from him, he eyes the zombie holding the wand. Too far away, too many others in between to get a good shot He pulls out his second handaxe and strides forward, attacking the wounded zombie.

Velan - disturbed by the power of the magical onslaught he saw Mica, Danicaand Meilisubjected to - attempts to return the favor. He conjures a bolt of flame and directs it at the nearest zombie. With luck he may keep a few of them chasing him and give his allies time to deal with the greater threat.

He then retreats further east into the trees near the waterfall... gaining partial cover and hoping to keep the zombies from getting too close.

Almost stumbling from the force of the magic that hammered into her torso, Danica saw others hit by the same spell, all originating from the one undead furthest north in the back, holding a stick, no....a wand. It needed to go down, now. Meeting Hew's gaze for a heartbeat after he spoke, the elf nodded before her eyes shifted, the blue turning yellow and enlarging before she fell forward, not lithe elven hands catching her in her fall but massive paws as she Wildshaped into a spotted panther. As soon as she hit the ground she began running straight north towards the wand wielding zombie as fast as possible, getting about fifty feet closer to it but avoiding her own vines.
Ineteclutches her holy symbol and casts bless, targeting Ran, Meiliand Mica. She then retreats southeast in the direction of Velan.
The undead spellcaster raises his wand again, but this time intones a much longer, guttural spell. [spell[hunger of hadar;A deep and outer darkness[/spell] appears at a point near Mica's tent and then rapidly expands to a radius of 20 ft, covering Meili, Micaand Hew. This void is filled with a cacophony of soft whispers and slurping noises that can be heard up to 30 feet away. No light, magical or otherwise, can illuminate the area, and creatures fully within the area are blinded. The void creates a warp in the fabric of space, and the area is difficult terrain. Any creature that starts its turn in the area takes 10 cold damage. Any creature that ends its turn in the area must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 8 acid damage as milky, otherworldly tentacles rub against it.
Hew, Micaand Meiliare disoriented and cannot see at all within the inky black void. Ran, you see a sphere of darkness appear between you and the northern enemies, and would need to go through the pool, the long way around, or right through the void.

He yells loudly in case the trio trapped inside can't see.
"Mica, Meili, Hew. This way. Follow my voice," Ran shouts.
Then he looks quickly at his options. Charging headlong into magical darkness sounds like a recipe for disaster. That wand wielding zombie needs to be dealt with so he chooses the fast route and races around the blackness.

(OOC - not sure the size or depth of the pool from the map - if there are visible shallows Ran can run through without losing speed he'll head that way as it looks to be the shorter route, but if the water looks deep, likely costing him half his speed, he'll race around the other side)

Micaand Meiliare back out of the darkness, but their respite is short lived. The zombies continue to advance.

The darkness disappeared as suddenly as it appeared, as if bringing the zombies, that Meili now saw right in front of her. There was no time, however, to think about philosophical matters. Meili dodged the attack from a rotting corpse and attacked herself:
Momentarily blinded, Mica blinks as the darkness suddenly drops, restoring his sight just in time to dodge a strike from one of the zombies. He is not as fortunate as the second zombie’s claws scratch across his midsection. Fearful of becoming surrounded, he repeats his call to the primal spirits for speed.
He swings his handaxe at a wounded zombie in front of him, then pushes through the crowd, moving thirty feet to close the distance toward the zombie with the wand.
