Chonk your charge forward and stand ready just behind Sindri, while Guroz you make it to her side as the sheep charge in.
Chonk as the creatures close in you surge into action delivering two powerful kicks to the first one to get close to you. The first kick knocks the beast senseless and the second send it rolling through the air in a woolly white blur. It lands with a thud several feet away and does not move. Six sheep remain.
The rest of the flock charges in ramming with bewildering speed. The first two ram you Guroz as you step in to protect Sindri; Attack: 6 Damage: 7 and Attack: 9 Damage: 7
Two slip by and attack you Sindri their heads low as they attempt to bowl you over; Attack: 8 Damage: 4 and Attack: 7 Damage: 7
The last two charge past to attack you Chonk; Attack: 21 Damage: 6 and Attack: 8 Damage: 7

(Not sure without a map, but I hope I can describe this alright)
Sindri easily dodges the crazed mutant sheep as they try to bowl me over, good thing I’m little she thinks. She then positions herself to get as many sheep within 10 feet of her, but to keep Guroz and Chonk out of the 10’ radius and casts Arms of Hadar creepy dark tendrils emerge from Sindri, battering everything within a 10’ radius of her, she closes her eyes as it happens as they frighten her as well.
Strength save of 12 or 12 of necrotic damage and no reaction or half damage.
She then runs away from the sheep keeping Guroz and Chonk between her and the herd.

Sindri as you invoke the power of Hadar, the Dark Hunger you are able to catch the four creatures attacking you and Guroz. The tendrils batter into them (8, 11, 15, 3)
The beasts are more resilient than you would expect, but still they all take a battering from the dark tendrils. Still as you move away two of them manage to take an attack of opportunity.
Attack: 15 Damage: 3 and Attack: 13 Damage: 5
(I'll try and get some maps sorted for later game but I was more concerned with keeping up the momentum for now. Always happy to answer questions ref postioning prior to an attack.. and sorry about those rolls lol. Sheep... who knew!?)
Lefaris you cast your sleep spell and thanks to the damage already done by Sindri's dark tendrils four of the creatures stagger and collapse into slumber. (A fantastic combo, take inspiration for that).
Chonk you step over one of the sleeping monstrosities and jam your palm into one of the two remaining sheep. It gives a muffled grunt and you slam your elbow home to send it crashing to the ground several feet away dead.
The last sheep topples to the ground with a dull thud. The sound of snoring comes from the sleeping beasts around you and something else... somewhere nearby you hear someone crying!
Guroz your keen senses tell you that the sound is coming from the nearby clump of bushes.
While Guroz seems to be distracted by the bushes, Chonk will quickly euthanize the sleeping sheep by gently cradling their necks and then forcefully twisting their heads, breaking their necks, ensuring it is as painless for them as possible.
He will then retrieve his walking stick and rejoin the others.
Lefaris aids in putting down the mutated sheep. She would not wish them to wake up after looking into those demonic eyes. Only once that is done does she move after the others towards the bushes.
It is grizzly work but the sheep are soon dead and you all move toward the sound of the crying. As you grow closer to the source of the sound the bushes shake and a small villager child dashes out and scampers behind the large woolly mound that the sheep had been feeding on. You see now that the mound was in fact one of the merchants pack animals.
The child peeps out from behind the carcass with tear filled green eyes.
“You’re that certain you’ll survive the night? Where are your parents, child?”
Chonk is curious about the child’s behavior. Why show attachment to a llama? Was their skin tone more similar to the merchant’s than a villager’s?
Chonk will approach the bushes with the berries with the intent to harvest them, however, he will try to study if the berries could have been the cause of the mutation of the sheep. He will look for tufts of wool in the branches or broken or square bitten twigs that would indicate the sheep had foraged here previously.
As Chonk is asking the child questions, Sindri slowly approaches. "Hi there little one! Weren't those sheep scary? They sure scared me! Do you like llamas? I can make a little one, but its just a picture, you can slide your hand through it."While saying this last part she casts minor illusion and holds the image of a llama in her hands to show the child.
Chonk, the child does not give immediate answer to your questions, though you do get the sense that there is no attachment to the lama as such. Seeing you approach their original hiding spot the lama was simply the next best thing. From what you can see the child does not resemble the merchant and is dressed like one of the locals, in earthy browns and beige.
You see no tufts of wool on the bush and successfully pluck enough red berries for one ration.
The child's eyes grow wide Sindri as you cast you spell but they make no move toward it. Lefaris as you chime in there is something in your voice that seems to calm the child a little and for the first time the fear in their eyes softens.
"Y...you are here to help?" the child says in a whisper as they slowly emerge from behind the dead pack animal, "Papa is back at the farm and... I didn't know what to do."
As they speak you hear an all too familiar sound and answering calls across the valley... GRWAAAAAAAAAAA!
Looking up and around you see that the sheep dotting the slopes all around the valley are now looking down on you all. Hundreds of fierce red eyes pinpoint the valley like tiny burning emeralds. Perhaps it is the stench of death that draws them, or the sound of voices; you do not know, but what you do know is that a few hundred of these horrific creatures are now looking at you and with each passing second more and more are starting to move in your direction.
"Let us get back to your farm." Lefaris says as she eyes the numbers of demonic sheep all around them. She looks to her companions. "We cannot fight that many." She tells them. "Let us get to the farm and see if we can learn what is causing this to happen to sheep."
