As Llywd sits, crouched in the rain, his fur legs matted, he listens to the sounds of rain pattering down. The drip drip drip from grass stalks bent with water. But then his ears twerk as he hears something out of place. The sound of grass cracking as a stalk is crushed...the sound of a clank as something metal quietly brushes against another bit of metal. Several figures are approaching from the direction of the road. The fire is nothing more than a stream of smoke and a few embers at this point and has been for a while. Llwyd figures the figures are probably still 30 feet away, and not visible yet through the thick tall grass.

Llwyd watched Kris’s interest with curiosity. For him to sleep outside was something as common as resting under a roof. Sometimes more common even. It was strange to him to see someone finding it exciting, different. Maybe he looked that way when he first arrived to Suzail. He liked that his stay in Candlekeep had him used to the stone houses of the city folk.
“I am fine with the order and sharing the tent.”The druid said holding the urge to say that he would like to sleep on the grass. If what Coch said was true, people with little fur found that strange.
His turn to watch came soon enough and he focused on the surroundings as if he was about to hunt. He was about to consider that maybe he should have turned into a more perceptive beast when he heard the song of metal touching. Thirty feet way he spots a couple of individuals, half hidden on the grass.
“Wake up! We got company!” He warned the others, readying his shield and focusing himself into avoiding any incoming attack.
Notes: Llwyd warn the others and takes the dodge action.
To get used to camping in the woods after countless hours of hiking was tough enough. An attack in the middle of the night was truly excessive! It took some time for Irmiel to hear and then properly react to Llwyd's voice.
Irmiel and Kris have been having troubles getting a good night rest. The damp, the first time in a while sleeping on the earth, a few bugs, the sound of the rain...everything has kept their sleep shallow. Some part of their brain has already become aware when Llwyd's breathing changes and the sound of something approaches tickles their awareness. Irmiel's eyes are open and her body is moving to react even as Llwyd's voice is still in mid-shout yelling "company!!!"....as here eyes look at the tent around her.
Irmiel's action first.
(I'll work Llywd in when you get your roll up, but Irmiel can go before any bad guys.)
Note, you can NOT see the enemy from your camp. They are still back, hidden behind tall grass.
Whatever was crawling in the grass did not want to be detected - not a good sign. Still, it could be something completely innocent. Doubtfully, of course, but Irmiel was not used to the "shoot first - ask question later" tactic. Yet.
Invisible foe (she could make out the grass movement, though) had to be warned first.
Sleep for 29 HP at the middle of the moving formation.

He was surprised to see how fast things seemed to move to him. Not only he had the time to shout for the others and assume a defensive position, but he also felt like there was enough time for another spell. That brought the question: which one? Barksking seemed like an easy enough option. It would go well with wildshape, make up for how the massive body of certain beasts was easy to hit. But at the same time Heat Metal was likely to have a greater impact on battle. Hold Person could also come in handy, after all whoever was approaching came from the roads and so was likely a person. And maybe they would need healing later. Maybe I should keep the defensive posture? It was a possibility, but it would make little to help his friends.
In the end the satyr decided to move from Irmiel and took out his druidic token. It was a willow hoop carrying three white feathers and held by a leather cord. Inside the loop rested a woven net inside and in the center of the net lied the fang of a wolf. Things from his home, put together by him and masters. With it in hand Llwyd readied himself to strike with Thorn Whip, should any melee attacker advance against the wizard. Spellcasters usually fought from distance from a reason so it would be a good thing if he could avoid anyone from getting too close to her.
Notes: Llwyd moves as laterally far from Irmiel as possible and readies the Thorn Whip Cantrip, the trigger being some melee fighter approaching Irmiel. If the attacker is hit, Llwyd would pull it towards himself.
Irmiel casts her sleep spell out into the deep grass, hoping to send some enemies into a slumber.
In the darkness a man, with a torch in one hand and a short sword in the other comes leaping into the small clearing you've made from the grass. He looks at Llwyd and Irmiel and growls, "Give us yer money and no one will diiiieee...aaahh!!" His sentence is cut short as Llwyd lashes out with a long vine like whip, and drags him closer to him. Two more people leap out of the long grass into the clearing. One looks to be a half-elf woman with a heavy set body and a mean scar across one cheek, she has a rapier out. The other, a dwarf that looks to have a permanent furrow etched into his face, and a battered well used axe in his hands.
Stallock clambers out of his tarp. His armor isn't on, and his belt and back sheath are held in his hands. He grabs the handles of his weapons and whips both rapiers to the sides, sending their sheaths flying off of them....then advances across the camp warily, his tired eyes blinking the sleep from his vision.
(reminder, half-movement to "stand-up" and you're not wearing your armor if you were sleeping)
Kris is rolling out of bed immediately, reaching for weapon and shield. She is still dressed in her leather armor, opting to sleep in it in case ne'er-do-wells should... well, exactly this!
Springing from her tent, she casts light on her rapier and produces it before her to illuminate the surroundings. She places herself in front of Irmiel and the bandit (T3). She swishes her blade, conjuring a miasma of thundering energy that threatens to consume the bandit!
Attack: 25 Damage: 10
(Move to get outside and Action to cast light. Action surge to cast booming blade.)
Kris, her subconscious already aware and ready, rolls out of her tent. Her blade flashes with gleaming light as she lunges forward slashing at the bandit, leaving a nice streak of blood across the dwarves side. He grunts in pain...as thunderous energy seems to suddenly surround him.
From within the deep grass a couple other figures move. Though they don't enter the clearing, the *twang* of their crossbows firing is clear enough to signal their intent, as crossbow bolts rip through the grass and into the clearing.
Crossbow Attack on Llwyd: 6 Damage: 8
Crossbow Attack on Kris: 15 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Crossbow Attack on Irmiel: 5 Damage: 2

Quickly getting up on her feet (5 ft movement due to Athlete feat), Sistri reaches up touch the amulet that always hangs at her neck. Muttering a prayer to Mielikki, she asks for the goddesses' protection. (Bonus Action: Shield of Faith; AC 17 w/o chain and with spell) She then pulls her longsword from its sheath and grabs her shield in the other hand.
Rushing out of the tent wearing just her light traveling clothing, she has but a moment to assess the situation. Seeing Llwyd near and an apparent attacker near him, she presses forward to attack. (Moving to the right of Llwyd and towards T1). Keeping her shield up for protection, she makes a broad swing at the bandit (T1).

When Irmiel planned to join Battle Mages of Cormyr it was not just for the looks - she trained (well, self-trained). If she was (let's be fair here) somewhat lacking in tactics or the battlefield assessment she at least tried to compensate for it with reflexes (which she proved by her readiness to the battle on the first scream notice). The crossbow bolt never reached her, repelled by the shield of force protecting her from the assault.
Reaction: Shield (that would be the previous round, right?)
Osrik was of no help here (note to herself - wings!) but humans (and other bipedal) were perfectly capable of breathing fire too. She even tried before and was going to repeat the experience.
Action: breathing towards T2 (and A1) for 9 (save for half Dex 15)
rest of the movement: two squares lower.
Reaction for that round: Silvery Barbs if T2 makes his save, he has to re-roll and Llwyd gets an advantage for the next attack roll, ability check, or saving throw he makes within 1 minute.

The whip of vines cackled against the bandit after but few words, pulling the man towards the satyr. Six enemies, he counted as a crossbow bolt fond his raised shield. They didn’t look particularly strong, at least not in comparison with what they faced on Candlekeep. Although, he imagined, hoped even, things on the world could look strong in face of that kind of creature. The heavier armors he could see where studded leather and the druid was not particularly confident that Heat Metal would be that useful against it.
“I have a better idea.” He said both to himself and to the assailant. “You go away and we don’t kill you.”
Llwyd barely finished speaking when he noticed Kris behind him. A smile took hold of his lips. He was about to shout for someone, any one of his allies, to get five feet of him. The wizard had just spared him the effort of going into words.
“You really did choose the wrong group to rob.”He said with his eyes glowing emerald and fangs growing visible on his grin. His form blurred, expanded and a cold howl cut deep through the air. Where before was a fey stood a large beast. A direwolf, gray as silver, fast to move and bite towards a second outlaw.
Notes: Llwyd uses his bonus action to Wild Shape into a [Tooltip Not Found], moves 5ft to the left (remaining 5ft diagonally away from Irmiel) and attacks T2. The attack is made with advantage because of pack tactics and if it thits, T2 must do a DC13 Strenght saving throw or be knocked prone.
The group is out of their tents and attacking with ferocity within moments. Flame jets from Irmiel's mouth, while Llwyd shimmers into the shape of a massive wolf and lunges at one of them. All three are wounded before anyone of the members of the party, and they all stagger back in confusion. The woman grits his teeth and says, "Focus on the caster!"
Then she steps forward and takes a swing at the direwolf in front of her...slashing with her rapier twice...

The thugs seem shaken by the ferocity of the camp's counter-attack....swinging their weapons mostly wildly. The one fighting the dire wolf looks badly burned and is smoking, the woman screeching in rage and anger. Stallock meanwhile lunges forward, his blade cutting and slashing into the thug fighting Irmiel, staggering the man who grunts and gasps...and suddenly looks desperate to flee.....
