"Very helpful", Rum replies, "You have means to travel to the base by the ocean without getting close to the outposts? And what do you mean the big base is on fire? Is it like a forge?".
He looks to the others to see if they have any more questions as well. Leaving the outposts behind them fully manned doesn't feel right, but neither does giving away their position. It would all depend on how big the Blast Bellows is and if they can sneak back with it.
"Does 'run like the devil is chasing you' count as a means for travel to the base by the ocean?" Violet asks with a giggle. "Huh... a forge... I guess that would explain why that big base is on fire... I've never really gone close enough to see what's actually inside, though."

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
"I just worry" Kaede adds, "if this forge is small enough for us to carry back to our friends who it was stolen from! I mean, what if it's the size of a building?"
"Sometime a hasty retreat is the best course of action, Violet", Rum replies, having had to do the same a number of times since this journey started.
"I would like to investigate the guard tower fellow Remnants, see how many occupants it has. If we can neutralise it before proceeding, all the better. I can sneak in and try and ensure they don't get the chance to alert the next guard tower of any issues", he states, a look of concern on his feline face when he speaks of leaving enemies behind them.
"Friend Greko, can you shrink the Blast Bellows for days at a time? The journey will be long".
After Greko replies, Rum calls Porkins over and takes to the sky, turning invisible as he goes.
When he returns, he details what he saw, "There are only thirteen Stormtroopers I can see fellow Remnants, and most of them look like they're relaxing. There is one sentry armed with a crossbow in each of six towers. Seven more are simply milling around the camp aimlessly. Most of them are only wearing half their armor. They're cooking, playing dice and cards, some even napping. They are not prepared for conflict. There is also a dead newt in the spikes near the gate", he reports, at the last looking at Jek. "They must have received word about the betrayal".
"Fellow Remnants, I believe we should clear out this camp, rather than leave enemies between us and our eventual retreat".
“Your wonders never cease to amaze, Master Greko!” Lady Kaede says with a gleam in her eye.
Upon Rum’s return, she calls everyone together into a huddle, and quietly whispers “You too, especially, Violet, as you’re a key member of our group now! Okay, everyone, any strategy ideas for attacking this camp? Rum…are all the guards in the towers facing one direction? If we were to attack from multiple directions, would we catch them at a disadvantage? Do we dare a frontal assault, or is subterfuge called for?”
“The guard towers are arranged around the camp, covering all directions Lady Kaede”, Rum replies.
”I can either approach from the sky on Porkins, or sneak into one of the towers and silence the guard, hopefully without raising the alarm”.
“I am aware though that we have powerful magic users here, who can decimate the camp with a gesture. Perhaps a frontal assault with powerful magic followed by those of us who fight at closer quarters attacking from the flank”.
Lady Kaede nods in agreement at Rum's suggestion, marches off to the side and sits down on a rock. She spends a few minutes, doffing her annoying stormtrooper armor and helmet, and replacing it with her traditional samurai armor and helm. After stretching and flexing for a minute, she marches back to the group, and boldly announces "When the student is ready, the Master appears. I am ready."
Violet simply listens and nods along with whatever plans the others are making...
"I'm ready to help wherever you need me," she says. "I'm not much of a strategist, so I'll trust that your plans are sound... but... please promise not to let any of the bad guys get too close to me. I don't think that I would last very long in a fist fight..."

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
"That makes sense, friend Greko. And stay back, Violet. We will try and draw all the attention. Now remember fellow Remnants, there are other outposts on the way, and ideally we want to do this without alerting them to our presence. No conflagrations", Rum says wagging a clawed finger at those he believes might be capable of such.
With that said, he mounts up on Porkins.
"I will circle around to the rear of the outpost and make my move when you do. Perhaps give me a 50 count to get in position. Be careful of traps in the outpost and leading up to it".
And then Porkins takes to the sky, turning invisible as he does so, and starts to circle around the outpost.
Greko bumps his staff on the ground. The ground shakes a bit as an earth elemental appears again staring at Greko "Greko thinks you need a name..." The earth elemental groans at Greko and waits for its orders.
Jek looks toward the gate with the dead the newt. He can't keep his eye's away for a moment. "No... I didn't think it would spread this far....Bright Lady, have I done the right things? Or have I strayed from the path..."
He snaps back in when they start talking about the plan. He nods and says. "I think I can help more with the aerial team. Best not to go on your own, either." Jek slides behind Rum on Porkins, saying to it in celestial. "It's okay. I don't weigh much. Thank you for all of your help!" He starts counting. When it looks like they are about to begin, Jek will say a quick prayer to the Bright Lady. "Please help guide my friend, and keep him on the right path." (Rum has guidance)
As Rum and Porkin's become invisible, Jek mumbles "Oh... Umm, actually, never mind Bright Lady. Looks like we're doing something else. Scleth Epfle." As Jek says the words, shadows wrap around himself that bend the light, masking Jek from sight.
Porkins manoeuvres around the camp keeping a high enough altitude that they do not risk being heard, and trusting that they cannot be seen by those below.
"And now we wait for the signal", Rum says in Celestial, as he looks down upon the rear of the camp and keeps an eye out for any troopers that might look to raise an alarm, so he can target those first.
Greko watches the others fly off...well where he thinks they fly off... He shrugs figuring they are in place and gives his newly named Earth Elemental, Dwayne, the signal to attack a tower
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Lady Kaede sprints into the camp surrounding the tower, immediately behind Dwayne, blades flickering in the dull light of the cavern, almost silently except for a piercing "Yi! Yi! Yi!" battlecry as she lays into stormtrooper after stormtrooper.
The "Yi!" battlecry is Kaede's Samurai Fighting Spirit and Great Weapon Master attack
Fighting Spirit:
Starting at 3rd level, your intensity in battle can shield you and help you strike true. As a bonus action on your turn, you can give yourself advantage on weapon attack rolls until the end of the current turn. When you do so, you also gain 5 temporary hit points. The number of temporary hit points increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 10 at 10th level and 15 at 15th level.
You can use this feature three times, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.
Great Weapon Master:
You've learned to put the weight of a weapon to your advantage, letting its momentum empower your strikes. You gain the following benefits:
On your turn, when you score a critical hit with a melee weapon or reduce a creature to 0 hit points with one, you can make one melee weapon attack as a bonus action.
Before you make a melee attack with a heavy weapon that you are proficient with, you can choose to take a -5 penalty to the attack roll. If the attack hits, you add +10 to the attack's damage.
As Rum sees Greko's earth elemental stride forward and attack one of the western guard towers, he manoeuvres Porkins close to one of the towers on the east. "Friend Jek, let us clear the towers on this side"
"Listen to friend Jek, noble steed, I will back", he says in celestial before making the jump into the tower, suddenly becoming visible as he does so. He is in mid air when everything around him seems to start moving very slowly, as if he had been given some kind of super speed.
As he lands, he goes into a forward roll towards the guard whose reaction seems comically slow, and as he comes back to his feet he attempts an upper cut to their jaw followed by an elbow to the side of their head. He then looks to punch the guard in the gut and knee them in the face whilst they are doubling over.
After all this, he drops to a crouch so he cannot be seen from the other towers, even as the guard is still reacting to the impact of his attacks.
"Cool", he mutters.

Greko chuckles. “No worries about size old friends and new friends. Old Greko will just tap tap the forge and shrink it down”
