The fairy seems to get more and more confused as Travin mentions an oath they say "Oath? I made one? that's serious business.... I... I don't remember one..." they seem to go back into a brooding silence as they try to remember and it seems to upset them more and more as they think on it. "I'm a bit worried... I can't... ummm.... happy?" The question seems to act like a boon to distract the fairy as they switch topics and say "Happy. Yeah. Worried too. Angry as well. The corruption goes for as far as I can see. I didn't see any towns or villages up there either just the tops of this blight. I hope this doesn't go everywhere. I hope it hasn't spread to other forests. I'm glad you guys are with me. make me happy to hang out with you all. We should hurry though. As Shavaris said we have a lot to worry about. Lets go. If we are going to see the villages we can go through them on the way to the labyrinth right Adam? We just need to divert a bit to stop by them on the way." After saying they need to continue the tiny fairy continues to sit on Shavaris' shoulder as they look around. Their blue light just a bit dimmer then normal as a very unfamiliar look of worry is upon Delphinium's face.
As they continue on and find the unnatural birds and Ward threatens them Delph just watches the creature. The fairy clearly hates this place.
Johnathan remains concentrated on top of Travin chair for a while. He occasionally mutters something but nothing too loud. After a few hours pass he returns to his senses and seems a bit panicked, like he has just had a fright or something. He looks around a bit to get his bearings before getting of the chair. Echo is still looking for the village, but it’s quite far. He will continue to fly until he finds it. He pauses a bit and glances around, looking at the tree tops as he does. The forest is definitely not hospitable, there were some weird flying creatures and I swear I heard…, never mind. It’s nothing. What have I missed while I was scouting? He looks at Ward as he holds a flame thrower in his hands, threading the local wildlife. He looks to the others mentioning something is up with Delphinium but decides to listen in to hopefully catch up to speed with the parties shenanigans.
Ward keeps his eyes and gun in the Not-Owls. “What do you think you heard Johnathan. Now is not a time for secrets and surprises. This place is unnatural, and likely it’s effects on us and our minds as well.” Ward says, not looking at Johnathan but very serious nonetheless

Adam tears his vision away from the strange creatures spotted and looks at Delph. “Yeah, you’re right. Let’s get the hell out of here. We can investigate any nearby towns on the way to the labyrinth. I just can’t stand the thought of anyone being left behind. Being left to turn into… them. We will gather who we can and march on to find the source of this. After you, little guy.” Adam nods to the fairy and continues walking.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Travin sneers a little bit at Shavaris, his interest in Delphinium's change left un-sated, he scoffs and then walks to the front of the group talking to himself manically in draconic, and swearing in infernal.
Dageron does his best to write down the details of the land, animals, creatures, even the changed dynamics of light and dark, wind, and ambient noises to this changed place - as best he can while riding.
(( Note to group - he has a warhorse in heavy barding, but it hasn't come up in forever ))
Johnathan looks at Ward with a shocked expression. He didn’t expect them to be cold in their question. Secret? No, no. It’s nothing like that. It just there were horrible creatures that made my stomach turn. I’m not even sure if it is real. But since you must know, near then end of my scouting a bat came up to my Echo and spoke to him. The bat called me Johnathan and then disappeared. That’s all. It’s completely crazy. It’s just this place messing with me. When Johnathan hears Adam say to head to the labyrinth first before the villages he orders his familiar to fly back to him. This will take some time as Echo flew a great distance away.
“Apologies, I did not mean to be accusatory. Simply making sure it wasn’t a sound you recognized. I need all the information possible. This is, wrong. Everything here and unfortunately new beings so I cannot know very well the best approach. When you bring Echo back he is his own being correct? If so I could ask him and see if it was real or not. I just, have some certain suspicions of certain things that could be in play which, worry me quite a bit should they be accurate. Besides the unknowns we face. All of you stay in sight line of one another, if you go out on your own I will personally grow a plant child to throw at you in your sleep.” Ward says, trying to ease the mood but not looking back at all, still keeping his eyes in the owls and any other threats.

You are more than welcome to speak to him if you like but I fear that Echo is not a typical animal so I don’t know if that affects anything. I wouldn’t worry about it Ward, really. I think it is like that plant creature trap we fell for. Maybe the forest reflected a memory of what Echo was before the cure and is trying to make me guide us there. It’s one of the reason I am ignoring it as I don’t want that to happen again.
Delphinium nods as Adam asks him to lead on, "Right, us princes need to lead the way! Okay, let's get going. I'll be on high alert." Delph then makes a whistling noise and the giant hawk delph brought with them flies on back down as the fairy pets their head and says "Good job Havok Dart. Just fly upwards to safety if there is any danger." After petting the hawk Delphinium inspects the hydra eggs and seeing all in tact and fine nods and takes point in the group leading the way through the forest. Their senses on high alert as they make their way towards the village. They try their best to lead the group through this deadly area as best they can. Pulling on their experience of deadly environment in the feywild to help guide them and hopefully avoid any more traps.
"Does Adam knows where the towns people would go, ifs they had to deserts the town hmm? The sky is too familiar and travin thinks we should maybe prepares for the worst yeh?" Travin scowls at the sky as he talks, before looking to Adam for any local insight.
Shavaris looks to Johnathan a bit concerned. "The bat called you by name? Did it at least have its skin in tact on the outside of it's body?" she gestures towards the owls that were just there and the way they were.
"That can't be good, isn't this the area that you, uh, well, made the pact? Do you think that would have anything to do with that bat?" She then sees Travin sneer at her and realizes she is doing what Travin was trying to do with Delph. She drops the line of questioning, but won't stop Johnathan if he wants to answer.
Johnathan turns his attention to Shavaris as she talks more about the bat. He gives a shrug when she mentions this is where he made the pact. The bat looked normal, though it did disappear as soon as it spoke to Echo. He pauses again as he tries to decide what to say next. He is still looking around every so often at their surrounding. I mean it’s no secret that I have history in these woods, but I really think it’s just some illusions and tricks. It couldn’t be real, right? That’s all there is to it. Just a trick. Johnathan gives a chuckle but still seems to nervously glance around him as the continue their journey.
(If anyone wants to learn more about Johnathan you can do an insight check, I have rolled with the appropriate modifier in my player channel. DC 24)
The owls continue on, staying clear of the band. They seem completely uninterested in engaging with any of them for any reason.
As their journey lengthens, the now-singular sun starts to dip below the horizon, as has become customary. The world may be enshrouded in twilight, but once the sun goes down, true night will set in. The creatures of the evening begin to call in the darkness around them.
Still angry at the world and especially at the sky, Travin begins to sing a little song, punctuating the end of each line with a sudden toot from his shawm. He waddles along following Ward's path of fire and destruction, he has Artax's reins tied to his pile and he casts for everybody in a 30ft area of him, Countercharm for the duration.
"Generals gathered in their masseeeeees, TOOT Toot! Just like witches at black masses, toot toot! Evil minds that plot destructiooooooooon, TOOT Toot! Sorcerer of death's construction, toot toot!
In the fields, the bodies burniiiiiiing, TOOT Toot! As the war machine keeps turning, toot toot! Death and hatred to mankiiiiiiind, TOOT Toot! Poisoning their brainwashed minds, OH DAWNGUARD!"
Ward pulls back a little bit do that Delph can hear him. “Delph, what was the name of that fox fellow you knew. His gadgets feel they may be useful in this situation.” Ward asks, still staying at the front and pointed ahead.

“No, I do not know where they would flee to. Eventually they would try to make it to the Castle I assume. This is terrible. I wonder about using the Auryn to see if we can get any other information about this…“. He pulls out his Auryn medallion, he begins to mouth words, closing his eyes, his brow wrinkles up as you see him concentrating. A strange look for Adam.

Do you guys know what the hell he’s talking about? Somehow Ganon corrupted it and now...well now Hyboria has changed. What the hell…. Why does he always speak in riddles?
