Delphinium watches as not a single one of the treants surrender. Perhaps they were just mindless abomination or perhaps something else. Whatever the case, the Fairy holds the empty nest and looks at it. Rage can only take you so far as sadness takes hold. This corrupted place no longer feels like nature. It feels so hostile and cruel. The fairy might be going through strange changed themselves but Delph is still the kind hearted fairy he tries to be. He looks around for a place to set the next but all the corrupted trees look false and horrid. He settles for placing it on the least corrupted looking tree and closes his eyes for what looks like a small prayer. Then he joins the others.
Dageron sets loose tiny deadly creatures that seem full of life. The fairy wondering if he realizes that intelligent or not they might attack out of fear... not that anything that cares lives in this place anymore. The fairy just thinking it's fine for new predators to join the fray. Perhaps they can bring some strange semblance of balance to nature here. Delphinium has no idea what to do about this... he knows someone that can help but he knows not their fate.
"I would very much like to find the source Travin. I think we would need a powerful druid to detect it though... lets go. This place is horrid. I don't want to stay."
As the fairy turns they notice Ward kneeling over Running Bird and similar to their mother casts a powerful revivial spell that helps bring back those recently passed. The fairy glad they didn't have to lose another friend at least.
Johnathan catches his breathe as he watches the small Gremlins run into the woods. He spends a mount to see if the trees have stopped permanently and will causally kick deadfall as he approaches Delph. Are you ok Delph? I’m sorry my spell caught you in the radius. He will look over Delphinium’s wounds, realising that some of the damage hasn’t fully healed yet. He will spend a few moments gathering himself, ritual casting detect magic. He responds to Travin’s question. I can try, though this isn’t the sort of magic I am used to.
Delphinium looks to Johnathan as he asks after the fairy's health. They get a smile in return. "Oh! That was your spell? That was really strong! I still feel a bit of a sting but nothing a bit of rest won't fix. Where did you learn that one Johnathan? It was like a strange light that glowed eerily. I thought the corrupted treants were doing it. I know you wouldn't hit me on purpose. I kind of lost my temper though and charged in. This place is just... making me feel so angry. I hate seeing nature like this... twisted and tormented. I wish I could get in touch with my mother or sister. Make sure the forests near them are okay. I'm both worried for them and mad at what has been done here... I'm hoping I don't say anything I regret. It's not good for fey to lose their cool like that." There seems to be no animosity from Delphinium about getting hit with the spell. The fairy just seems impressed at what was done
Shavaris watches as all the enemies are either blasted into firewood or disappear back into the tree line. She sheathes her blades, making her hair return to its normal shade, then runs over to Running Bird and kneels beside him. When Ward joins her and starts working whatever he can do help, she keeps as still as possible, holding her breath when she can as tears run down her face. She knows it's just a mount, but to her it is also a promise to Ralik that is now broken.
As they wait, she looks over at the rest of her group, seeing them regroup and figure out what is next. She then asks Ward, "How much further to the labyrinth?"
“Why did he want to take you, bud?” Adam says as he walks over to Ward. “He seemed pissed at you. What was his big hairy deal? Do you know?” He looks up at Delph and says, “I agree with you Fire Flight, this weird ass forest creeps me out as well. Nothing is right here. I need to rest for a little bit, but after, we should head on to the Labyrinth and the ball juggler, right?” Adam sits down with his snail, putting away his lightsaber. He sits criss cross apple sauce, looking like he is trying to meditate. But really only acting like he’s meditating. Because he’s not so good at it yet.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Ward takes out the diamond as it begins to glow, pressing it into running Birds chest as it drifts into it, casting revivify. Then Ward turns to Shav ”8-10 days, depending on who we meet here.” Then turning over towards Adam “I was wood then would not break, bark that did not bend to his will. He was corrupted and I am the opposite of him, seems that he did not like that altered reflection.” Ward says looking back down at Running Bird to see how he is.

“Yeah, ok. Guess that makes sense. Huh. I wonder what the opposite of me would do? Would he want to snuff me out? If he came from opposite world, would he want to make me go away so that he could do his own opposite world things to Eternia? That’s a real head scratcher for ya.” Adam sits down, saying “Can we rest here for a bit, maybe an hour or so, before we go on? That tree guy caught me on the chin a couple of times..” Adam starts whistling a tune, “nooo no no, ya know he ain’t gonna dieeee….”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Dageron joins the others, taking time to examine the wellbeing of Mogwai. (( Does it appear to be injured, or was the reproduction more or less natural to it? ))
Shavaris rushes to the goofy bird and flings her arms around him. Looking back to Ward, "Thank you!! This means so much." After wiping her tears on him, she climbs aboard and takes her short rest on top of the dire bird.
She watches as the new little gremlins go off in search of whatever they want apparently, wondering if their addition to this not-forest is a good thing. As Dageron calls them back, she looks at him, "Curious.. why did you change your mind?"
He looks to the group and explains. "Mogwai may be of an immortal race of chaos mongering monsters that can rapidly reproduce to nearly infinite scale. These new ones need to be caged and kept dry until trained... If I can get these to my army, they may make for an incredible fighting force... barring how long training takes. I intend to use cages and shackles once my thrall over them ends."
Shavaris looks over at Travin and Dageron from her perch, discussing the horde, and when Travin mentions baggy... "No!! Dag, do not let him use that baggy... unless you're trying to get rid of those creatures."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
After the battle and when all is safe Delphinium whistles to call down Havok Dart and checks to make sure the cargo is safe still. The well trained death hawk doing a good job of taking to the air when danger appears then returning with the hydra eggs once it safely can. The fairy seems curious about the odd creatures that Dag has and tries to recall if they ever heard of such things before approaching them to talk about the aggressive beings. (Nature Check: 15)
They seem a bit lack luster in motivation after failing to get any answers and just says "Let's just continue going to the Labrynith. Things will be better once we get there and I'm sure Jerath at least knows who did this so we can find out who we need to hunt down."
The fairy just seems generally drained of light. All the abysmal and twisted things seem to just further worry and depress the fairy as their blue light just goes to a stead pulse of faded blue. However, at the revival of running bird they gain some glow and a small smile reaches them. They flutter over to land on Shavaris' shoulder again. "At least we didn't lose anyone. Ward is what the Treants should of been. Kind and protective of those who dwell in nature." Delph whistles to have Havoc Dart travel in step with them as Delph keeps a keen eye out for trouble for when they continue on their journey. Thoughts of treants and guardians. Wondering if someone is hunting down the treants and turning them. Is that something happening now? Are some of them still fighting to protect life? They don't have the answer but they hope they can hold on. At least until they can find a way to help.
Travin giggles as he pulls out a rope and begins assessing how best to secure the gremlins quickly.
he dips a part of the rope into a pot he has and attaches the rope to the base of each gremlins skull, leaving around 30-40cm between each gremlin. Once he reaches the last gremlin he ties the loose bit of the first part of the rope to the off cut loose part of the end, forming a tight nit gremlin circle. The final touch is that he manacles one gremlin to Birt's ankle. "There, now theys not goings anywhere hmmm?" Travin nods to Dageron, proud of his work, Birt groans out his own name in agreement.
Ward nods and pats Shavaris on the shoulder. "It is of no issue friend." Ward says, then shaking his head at the Gremlins and going over to Mogwai and crouching down. "Are you alright small one? That seemed quite painful." Ward says to the creature. Then looking over to Adam, "I am fine resting for a moment, please stay in the circle as you are able for safety." Ward says, as his Hearth appears once again around them.

Dageron looks dubiously at the rope, then back at the long clawed and fanged Gremlins. "Nowhere, you say?"
He leans down to one of them to assess its demeanor - the visor on his helmet down.
