The fly disintegrates when Adam swings his lightsaber through it, and little clouds of ash fall toward the floor for the lightsaber to carve through, atomizing its remains even further. It is super, duper dead. This fly may be the deadest fly in the history of dead flies.
The room falls silent. Harsh fluorescent lighting shines down on rows of chairs and a large receptionist's desk. There is a door to the stairs in the far northern corner, as well as the entrance to the elevator in front of the corpse of the dead vampire-thing.
Shavaris slowly comes back into view as the invisibility spell wears off. She heads over to the reception desk and seeing many blank monitors, she calls over to Travin, "You think you could make any of these work? They must be used for something."
Then looking at their two options.."I don't know about you guys, but our other ride in the big gray box wasn't my favorite, stairs next?"
Travin's eyes continue to glow, "nothing here's is magics, hmmm! Travin expecteds more." He goes over to the computer to see if he can get any information out of it, but otherwise shakes his head at shavaris' idea of the stairs. "Ifs the dawnguard takes the elevator wes should gets there quicker hmmm? Buts either way, Ifs we take one way up, we's should sabotage the other way yeh yeh, don't wants Vigo escaping hmmm?"
As the computer screen lights up Travis begins typing away, feverishly, he appears to be doing something successfully but after a few minutes he stops and looks fed up. "No good, hmmm!... Useless! Yeh yeh. Where is we going? Hm!?"
Shavaris listens to Travin and nods, "Ok, do you have an idea to block up the elevator? Because that is all I'm doing with that machine is to jam it up!"
"Travin has an idea! Yeh yeh!" He shouts and waddles off to the elevator, if he can call it down, he does, standing back from the opening doors. If the coast is clear, he gets into it and closes the door behind him, odd noises come from within for a few moments.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Johnathan spends a few moments examining the surrounding. He takes note of the elevator and gives a nod to Shavaris. We were already ambushed in one of those. Let’s go with the stairs, at least we know we can go back down. Johnathan makes his way to the stairs and starts listening out for any potential movement.
The elevator does come when Travin calls it, and lets him in easy enough. Nothing happens when the doors open or when he goes in, save for the odd sounds...
Dageron moves towards Adam, a grim expression on his illusory Human face. "A spell was placed upon me by Severen, and its effects just ended. The Rod of Rulership - he has it now. Severen may be planning on betraying his master with it, as it could just as easily have been taken from us by Strahd from the beginning. I would like to quickly check if he is still outside, perhaps we can use him against his master... if my guess is correct. Either way, a powerful artifact is in his hands - and no longer available to us."
Adam holds his head in his hands. “Damn… I though he liked my dance moves….” Shakes his head. “That’s terrible news Dag. What the hell could you do with that thing? Order people around, like you like to do? I think you just lost your second most favorite rod…”. Adam shakes his head and nods to him to go look for it, meanwhile he waits to see what their next move will be, or who will pop out at them.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Shavaris watches in disbelief as Travin enters the elevator, "Wait!"she exclaims and runs towards it, bringing forth Eloise to stand next to the junkman before the doors close. As Dag and Adam talk, she turns back to Johnathan who is listening at the stairs, "Hear anything? We should probably get moving as I'm sure they know we're here."
Eloise follows train inside the elevator where he presses no buttons and simply waits for the two sliding doors to close together. Once that happens he nods to the ghostly apparition and she watches as the junkman takes out some magically strong glue and glues a grenade to one sliding door and then glues the pin to the opposite sliding door
He then pokes a pole up at a hatch in the ceiling of the elevator and climbs up, unlocking the hatch and clambering on top of the elevator. He uses mold earth to push a 5ft chunk of the stone wall out and onto the floor where he then scrambles to follow, standing up on the correct side of the elevator with the group, "No one use the elevator yeh yeh! Unless it's completely necessaries!! Heh heeeee!! It's a trap! Hmm!" He states loudly as he runs to catch up with the group now attempting to ascend the stairs.
Johnathan turns to Shavaris. I think it’s all clear, have we done with this floor yet? Johnathan calls Echo to his side as he notices Shavaris listening as well. He waits a moment to see if they detect any dangers that he may have missed.
Travin smiles back at Shavaris, happy to be appreciated for his chaos. He seems dead set on proving himself to the group despite the recent admonishment and subsequent abandonment by his other clone and original mind, which weighs on him heavily.
Adam runs along behind Shavaris, as they ascend to the next flight he says “C’mon, let’s turn this into a workout opportunity! It’ll clear your mind. After each floor, we do 10 pushups. Who’s with me? C’mon now. Drop and give me ten!” Adam gets down on the ground quickly and does ten pushups, then gets ready to move up to the next floor…

Shavaris stops and stares at Adam as he literally does 10 pushups on the landing. "Did you not see how tall this building is? You'll wear yourself out before the tenth floor! Now come on, you're taking more time than necessary, more time for those disgusting vampires to find us. Let's race to the top!" and hoping this gets him moving, she starts bolting up the stairs.
Travin giggles seeing Adam start working out in the stair well and tosses the man a gold coin whilst he's down on his hands. Trav then takes Shavaris' lead and follows up the stairs.
Johnathan has a small smirk as he watches Adam run ahead to do 10 push ups. He then sees Shavaris start racing ahead. Ok, this could be fun. Johnathan begins to float weightless in the centre of the stairs towards the ceiling, passing Adam as he does his workout. We can race if you like, though I’ll just take the direct route if you don’t mind. With Johnathan’s spell he is able to avoid the tiring run on the stairs. He even goes on his side and pretends to fall asleep to further antagonise Adam, Travin and Shavaris as they break a sweat.

Shavaris looks at Travin with surprise, then smiles. She brings Eloise back out of the elevator and heads over to the stairs.
She leans in as well, listening to see if anything is waiting for them on the other side.
