Kerwyn looks down at the outfits in the trunk, saying "Are you friggin kidding me? All of these outfits, so yesteryear and gaudy. Sheesh!" He looks up to see Lazarus as he appears, listening to him. He interjects at certain times, when he mentions the former Goblin King, Kerwyn says "Yeah, I like to call him the Riddler. Or Uniball. Or Nutso. Take your pick. Not such a fan of him. But (as he looks down at the gaudy clothes) I guess he's running this circus and we have to play along with the nutjob to get out of here. I can't stand this place." He looks up at Delph who seems delighted in the clothes, so much so that they are positively glowing. "Whatever. This place is not my forte, not my cup of tea, shall we say. So I'll do whatever is necessary to get us the hell out of here." With that, Kerwyn starts rummaging around through the chest to find something that fits nice and accentuates his biceps and pectoral muscles, with an occasional "Dammit!" coming out of him.
Travin reluctantly drags his ass up from the floor, he wipes the moisture from his eyes and dies his best to get the snot from his mustache, his nose slightly red from the crying and boopings. He stares back at Delph as he regains a modicum of his previous composure "it's a lot to take in fireflight, hmmm, Travin will follow yeh? Travin needs to help guard and find Gavin too." with that said he glumly turns and waddles over to Kerwyn.
"if Kerwyn would, whilst we walk, mmmmmh tell Travin what it's like... Travin needs to remember, what being a human is like yeh yeh?" His tone remains somber and lacking in his usual excitable outbursts as he follows the group's heading.
(Before the arrival of Lazarus)
Kerwyn hears Travin's question and pauses, considering. It is a deep question, one for soul searching, the meaning of life and an assessment of the human condition. "Eh, well it isn't a lot of fun, sometimes. You're born, you don't know where the hell you're truly from (in my case), a pathway is set before you. You do stuff, get buff, go to school or have a tutor, learn stuff, get a job. You settle down, have some rugrats, you have yourself 70 or 80 years and then you croak. Some of these things that we come across have been alive for hundreds of years! Or eons! Yeah, I can't figure it. You do your best, try to help the people around you, make a difference in the world, and then you die. The mortal condition." This last part he puts in finger quotes. He pauses and looks at Travin. "The best part is finding a nice girl and falling in love. And what comes after. Ya know what I mean?" He gives Travin a grin and a nudge with his elbow. He probably doesn't know what he means.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Travin simply looks at Kerwyn agog, it's obvious that he understands the general gist of what kerwyn is trying to say but doesn't quite understand some words and phrases used. "Maybe Travin has been alive too long hmm, too long to still be human yehhh yeh. Maybe Travin can help Kerwyn find his girl and rugratses and croaks? Hmm? "
He pats kerwyn on the side apparently with some amount of pity, before turning to see the newcomer, he listens and is then wholly distracted by Delph and the chest of things, Travin waddles over and searches for anything shiny.
Shavaris sits and listens to the kobold and nods when they ask if they can join. "Penchant for hyphens?" she looks at him curiously. "But yes, we have lost one that was very close to us. I am sorry to hear about your history, but it looks like you've made it alright? So you've been with Jareth for some time? Any way you'd be able to summon him back? A guide through this cursed place would be so helpful, unless of course, you know the way to the castle?"
She starts walking towards the chest as she hears Delph and Kerwyn going on about it as she talks with Lazarus. Once she gets there, she looks at the pile of what, costumes? Why was there a chest of costumes here? It didn't make any sense. She smiles as she sees Delph completely decked out and happy as a clam. She tentatively reaches in a rifles around a bit. Finding a mask that is purple and gold, with glittery designs etched throughout the face of it. Not putting it on, she hangs on to it and notices the music.
And before she has a chance to understand what is going on, Delph disappears towards the sound.
"That bastard didn't even care to deal with the bog scent." Ward mutters as he looks at the clothes and outfits. Finding a red and black mask and then casting a spell, a complimenting black suit with red trim appears, with holes to allow the spiked bits of wood through the outfit. "However, if this is going to be how we do this, might as well do it right. Give me a moment though, let me see if I can get something done to help with the bog stench." Ward says before trying to crush up some nicer smelling herbs into something to try and reduce the effect of the bog smell. Smiling a bit as he crushed the herbs and heard Kerwyn talking about being human to Travin.

The chest is full of shiny, of delightful, of things that turn the hearts over of those who touch them. Everyone finds a costume that somehow perfectly accentuates their personality. Perfect sparkles. Perfect shiny. Perfect tailoring and favorite colors.
Anyone who follows Delphinium down the path only has a quarter mile or so to travel before they encounter the enormous stone structure, the huge ornate castle that stands lofty amidst the sparkling trees but still somehow concealed from any other vantage. There is laughter inside and beautiful music that resonates outside the walls. A jovial Goblin stands at the door laughing and welcoming the various races who have arrived in their masquerade attire before ushering them in, one group at a time.
Shavaris is about to follow Delph, with the mask in hand wondering what the music means when Travin enters her mind. She pauses, looks around and sees the little guy looking up at her, hopeful. So glad to see him thinking about something other than his little brother, she smiles at him and turns back to the trunk.
She looks at the masks first, she finds the shiniest one she can, and to her surprise the holes for the eyes look big enough to allow his glasses/goggles to fit through. She continues to look and finds a very sparkly crown and adds that to the pile she starts beside her. Next she pulls out long flowing gauze like scarves in all different colors and adds those as well. She pauses for a moment, smiling at the beautiful little pile she has next to her and turns around to face Travin.
"Ready? If you want, I'll put these items on you?" If Travin accepts, she places the mask, crown and then drapes the scarves around his chair and cabinet. Satisfied with how he looks, she decides to join him in dressing up. She finds a deep purple dress that sparkles in the light. It's a bit long and flowing... which worries her a bit, what if it gets in the way? She shrugs and slides it on over her head. Then looks down to Travin, puts on her mask and asks, "Shall we?"
It’s nice to meet you Lazarus. You can call me Johnathan. I guess you have your reasons for being here as well then. That is when he notices the party supplies. Is Blix having a party at his castle? This might be a good in. Johnathan looks in the chest and finds a costume that he almost couldn’t believe. A bright red suit with a mask of a bat. It was almost funny to see this set up and he knew this would be a great way in. If this gets us close enough then I guess I’ll put it on. When Ward mentions about everyone’s smell Johnathan starts cast prestidigitation on whoever wants it. Johnathan puts the suits and mask on, and when he speaks he speaks more higher class and proper. Oh, jolly good. Shall we be of to the party then? It would be ever so terribly rude if we were to arrive late. Johnathan follows the path. He was kinda excited he gets to use his disguising powers for a change. In the back of his mind he just keeps thing. Heist time!
The Goblin at the door grins as the Dawn Guard approaches and holds up a scroll that he begins to read down through. The grin doesn't fade, even though his brows begin to slowly knit together and furrow. He looks like he's overwhelmed by the enormous responsibility of reading the scroll and begins to sweat before looking up at the rest of the group and clearing his throat.
"Gorky doesn't know how to read." He says sheepishly. He looks over the group, his smile sort of fading. "Gorky likes the way you guys look but Gorky doesn't know if he should let you in. Hmm. Gorky does like you... Your costumes make Gorky fancy! Yeah! I uh..."
He looks around, then looks through the doors into the huge, ornate ballroom.
"Think big boss has date with girl in there? Hm? Should Gorky let you in? Gorky doesn't know who girl is! Hasn't seen girl! Hmm. Gorky hasn't seen boss either. Maybe Gorky imagined it all? Weird boss with crystal ball made Gorky feel all...dancy! And confused. Hmm."
Travin will greet the Goblin in Goblish as he arrives, and offers to help him read the list! He continues in Goblish if Gorky seems to respond to it,
"If Gorky doesn't know who to never not let in then Gorky wouldn't never not always get in trouble eh? Hmmm? Travin thinks Gorky us sage and good at his job! And fancy! Yeh yeh yeh!"
Gorky and Travin begin talking up a storm in Goblish, the Goblin hands over the list and Travin begins reading some bits out, Gorkys smile grows and grows to the point where the two hug and then Gorky asks something conspiratorially to the junk man, with a pat on his back and some kind of agreement formed, Travin beckons the group in, once inside Trav whispers something to Delphinium and Lazarus
"The price of us getting in is one nectarine, yeh yeh! Gorky wants a nectarine smuggled out for his belly, make him happy hmmm? will Fireflight and Shinyman help? Hey by the way, Travin is me! Pleased to meet you yeh yeh" (he adds the final greeting to Lazarus in draconic)
Oh I do hear that these gatherings are most entertaining. Johnathan says, still in his totally posh accent. He looks over the goblin. There’s no need to be concerned. I, lord Frecklin hobblestock Terlily the seventeenth, have arrived. He poses in a heroic stance with his chin held high and his shoulders straight, almost like he was getting his portrait taken at the entrance. He uses minor illusion to make a faint applause surround him as he waits for the others to talk their way in. That’s right, Lord Frecklin hobblestock Terlily the seventeenth is here to, oh how do the commoners say it, “get his grove on”.
Gorky makes an ushering motion with his hands, directing Dawn Guard into the ballroom as he looks at the next group of people walking up in their classy threads.
The room is enormous. Hundreds of feet across and wide with enormous marble pillars supporting the ceiling above. Crystalline chandeliers light the inside like daylight, making it the brightest part of the Labyrinth they've been in so far. Hundreds of people mill about, have drinks, eat finger foods and treats, dance, and listen to the gentle, beautiful music. Everyone is in ball attire, and everyone is wearing a mask...
Shavaris watches with a little smirk on her face as Travin and the goblin converse. As they finish and Gorky goes to usher them in, she sees him look behind them and she turns to see what he is looking at... thinking they had been alone on their way here.
As she enters the ballroom, her dress swishes around her armor wrapped legs. She looks all around, trying to take it all in. She has never been in such a place before. When she had heard of such places, she figured people were just talking about dreams, not that they actually existed. She almost has to squint at the brightness of the room until her eyes finally adjust.
She hears Johnathan at her side going on about being a Lord? She looks at him confused, "What are you going on about?"
