Escarin's and his crow really make a difference and you move through the bushes and the half seen path at good speed.
Nothing seems to be angry enough to bother with a large group.
As you finish your first leg of the trek you have to the North the ruins of the dwarven fortress and directly before you the beginning of the swamp.
You surmise that you will reach Xak Tsarok later at midday of you continue walking until the sun sets. But you will have to find a place to camp there to.
”The ruins of Digondamar” she says using the dwarven word for them “ The Golden Halls” It was said that the beauty of it’s great columns were only matched by the Mallorns in Solace in autumm, for golden veins ran across the marble that they were made of. It was said that, above its walls one could spot an enemy even in the darkest night. It was a gift from the dwarves to the city of Xak Tsaroth. Unfortunately once the city was lost during the Cataclysm it was no longer needed.
I Came up with the name looking at the darwen lexicon of Krynn. Hope it’s ok. :) If not I will edit it.
After listening to Shan, Geoff says, "Though I will always have preference to the mallorn trees of our home; Digondamar sounds like it was quite a marvel to behold in days of old. Even the ruins are quite impressive."

“Indeed they are. Try to picture one thousand strong guarding it. No wonder why people in the city felt pretty safe, and why it’s commerce and market were so flourising.”
“If these walls could talk...” Xorn marvels at the scale of construction and defense this place once commanded. Xorn will continue until the party expresses interest in a break.
Geoff says, "I know we have some daylight remaining, but I'm not sure about spending the night in a swamp. However, time is of the essence. What do you all think is wiser?"
"We can make it there tomorrow if we have stay here and a good day but if something goes wrong we could be delayed, and the cost will be great according to the Forestmaster, can we afford to risk it? - I say push on into the swamp, if we can find a place to sleep a few hours further in at least we know we don't have to walk those miles tomorrow. But if the rest of you think it is too risky then let's rest now, but be ready to leave as early as possible."
Escarin then starts exploring the ruins a little, without straying too far from the others. He sends Havran out for a quick circuit just to check nothing is nearby.

Kinlin with the help of the crow leads you into the swamp
The path seems to vanish before your eyes plunging into green still water.
All your boots sink ankle deep in water and vegetation you need to keep moving to avoid sinking further. Patches of solid ground are like oasis for your tired frames.
The area is full of noise and life chattering all around you.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Geoff pulls his cloak closer to his body and says, "Seeing the remains of the Golden Hall sounds very appealing right about now. I wonder if there's a firmer path?"
He would like to look around while walking with the group to see if there is a dryer path to walk on in the maze of solid ground patches or if there's anything of note
Maybe it's the Staff guiding him or just plain luck, of his skills there are no doubt but Geoff knows that the feeling coming over him is not just his survival instinct kicking in.
You need to stop soon and get some rest for deeper into the swamp darkness rules.
A little of the trail you are making for yourself he spot the vestige of a house, the walls stand out of the water but the second floor is surely dry and seems hidden from view by the vegetation.

The ruins are just that. Weather and time as sealed most of the passages and broken the many sculptures that once made the place a marvel.
Thieves did the rest leaving the place bare.
Escarin wanders for a few minutes and notices that the place has been used as a stopping area for a civilised group.
Marks of claws and shedded serpent skin leave him wandering.
Lizardmen have made this place their home or at least stop.
