 OOC: The Ogre can't drop the cauldrons. They are attached and move like a pendulum. All he can do is try to slow it down one way or the other. 

Crank stops dancing .. or tries to and some of his movement become a bit jerky, more than when he really did try to dance. 

"Crank glad." he says "Like food." 

"Thank you Alex! Maybe Shan knows but she is really concentrated now doing her magic. She has told me several times not to interrupt her when she is making magic. " he says as repeting it to himself more than telling Alex " Maybe we can ask her later... she has become quite powerful doesn't she? I was quite impressed when she reduced that wyvern that attacked us.It was a pity it died I was thinking on adopting it. I could have ride on its back with htat size! Do you think Shan could had turned it into a frog? She told me that if I interrupted her she will turn me into a frog... how it would be to live in a swamp? I don't think I would like to eat mosquitos all the day... " the kender leans forward to see the results of the spell of the wizard as he speaks.

Only the caster is left standing but he is badly burnt. 

For a brief moment, the huge cave is illuminated but the fireball and those near the hole can see the sprawling ruined city beneath almost 300 feet deeper.

Fearing that it can cast back another fireball or another lighting, Kinlin fires another stone towards the remaining draconian

Escarin looks out oblivious to the mage the illumination from Shan's spell of the ruins below causes him to catch his breath. "Oh the destruction the Cataclysm caused, how different the world would have been." Almost as an afterthought he looks back at the cauldron and launches a pair of magical blasts at the mage to make sure he is finished off. 

Eldritch Blast

The mage moves over the edge and plunges in the darkness below trying to evade the bolts thrown at him. Without success. His glide transforms into a fall when Escarin"s eldritch fire burn him. 

Shan disipates the spell over the cauldron so it regains its original size.

"Well done friends. But I am afraid that some escaped. I guess that we will face more of them once we reach the bottom."

She turns towards Bupu

"Are we going to be able to hide once we are down litlle one? " she says kindly.

Seeing as the others stopped the enemies coming up the pot, Geoff regardless does as he promised and leaves Crank a few rations for him to eat then rejoins the others.

Bupu smiles a toothy, if ugly smile and laughs. 

"Me know secret way." She thinks and you can actually see the cogwheels working behind her eyes. "Meet High Glup." 

“Ok, let’s go to meet this High Glup.” Replies Shan and turns towards Geoff.

”Do you think he will help us going down?  We should hurry now that we have advantage. “ she says pointing to the eating ogre.

"Agreed!"  

With the draconians on the landing disabled, Bryony had had little to do while her new companions thoroughly polished off the pot full of reinforcements intended to support the now-dead fighters up here.  A very capable party as it was turning out.  

"If they're at all smart, and they probably are, they'll be setting up an ambush down there.  If there's another way down, especially one they don't know about, we should definitely take it."  Bryony crouches briefly to eye level with Bupu.  "Do you know how many of the lizard men there are?  In total?"

While everyone is talking only the Kender sees that the female gully dwarf is slipping further down the hall. 

The way is easy for the smaller humanoid but the other will need to be careful not to fall through the unstable floor. 

OOC: Dex save please DC12. The path leads through a few rooms and behind a broken down shelf there is a hole in the wall. The dwarves go through it.

Geoff is about to reply to Shan to say Crank would likely cooperate, but sees Kinlin following the female dwarf and continues with the others.

says Shan. She, Escarin and any other that had fallen sees their fall interrumpted and that they are just floating down, carried by the magic of the wizard. 

Shanryar looks down to the once beautiful and mighty city. She can almost imagine irs citizens walkin the streets, busy with their own bussines and worries. 

She tries to concentrate looking for a place where something as big as the dragon could be hiding. She also looks for the great library. “Could it there where he was during his visit? Could be possible that she was so close to the key of more knowledge and power that she could imagine? “
