This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Can we have a turn order at bottom of DM post in future? Hard to scroll and find it all across multiple posts)
When it is haldir’s turn he will pop his head out, take a light crossbow shot at the hob if it’s alive or one of the awake goblins, then duck back into full or partial cover…
Haldir kills the goblin on his left. The one goblin still awake and alive quickly turns and runs out of the tunnel. Dorgrim quickly ties up the three sleeping goblins before they awaken.
After a short rest, Joe and the rest of the party head outside while Dorgrim takes the three goblins back to Daruinjak through the mine. Once outside, Rhi notices a couple of humanoid figures at the top of the hill across a small valley. Although clearly visible, they do not appear to be within range of a crossbow shot.
Haldir whispers to the others… “depending on how many encounters we face today, perhaps I will need to conserve my arcane abilities… hopefully this crossbow will do the job, but do call out if you think there is an issue big enough to require such actions” Haldir pats his crossbow, while also gesturing like an Italian while he speaks, used to doing somatic compound nuts for spells and sleight of hand
Rhi moves past the line of sleep goblins to strike with his hand axe in one hand followed up by a powerful fist to the head of the hobgoblin.
Hand Axe Attack:
To Hit: 25
Damage: 7
Bonus Action Unarmed Strike:
To Hit: 14
Damage: 6
Somehow, the goblin avoided Dire's rapier attack, but the hobgoblin is pretty much dead..

Dire, Joe, Rhi, Haldir, Dorgrim
"Looks like they found our tunnel," Joe says. "We will have to be extra cautious now. Let's take a short rest then see what's happening outside."
“Sounds like a plan.”
Haldir sits to read his spell book, focusing to regain one of his spell slots during the rest.
Dire nods, crouches and cleans his dagger off.

Not yet. Rhi sees them, but they don't see you.

Dire says "Are we ready to ambush 'em?" as he readies his crossbow.

Rhi? What are you doing?
Rhi whispers to the group and points out the distant figures. (He counts them and tells the group how many he sees)
(By the way sorry for the delays, my thread notifications were going to the wrong email address. I should be more responsive now)
Two figures stand atop the hill. One disappears on the other side of the hill while the other readies a javelin. Roll initiative. Joe 10

You are out of range for a crossbow shot, but the furry humanoid/goblinoid is running toward you with a javelin ready to throw.
Dire crouches and pats his knees and says the goblin “Come on, you can do it, come get some. He stands and pulls his weapon.
