You are currently 50 ft south of the bottom of the map, and I forgot to specify! Outcroppings are both 40 feet high. Double movement or an athletics check to ascend
Koric instantly sends Balthar to safety in his home dimension, then recalls him on his outstretched hand sending soothing thoughts as well as praise for his remarkable eyesight.
Opening his eyes and standing and standing quickly, he looks up the the outcrops in undisguised fear. "Gods! I ... I was not made for such things." He looks around in mild panic, then makes a visible effort to gather his wits. With a sigh he looks around again, still a little wild-eyed, at his companions. "My apologies...I...it's so big."
After taking a deep breath, he continues. "There are runes on the first outcrop, and a cave and ruins of some kind on the other. Balthar outdid himself."
He strokes the bird, who finds it mildly annoying, but focusing his attention on Balthar seems to calm Koric.
Koric's breathing finally returns to normal and he looks up as Soloth's words. "In my youth I spent a lot of time sneaking in parts of the library that I was not allowed." He seems lost in thought for a few moments before smiling, "If I'm to be honest, it continued well past my youth."
"So perhaps sneaking past such a monstrosity might be possible, though the price of failure would be high."
Before she even has a chance to stop him, Soloth bravely slinks off to the cave. She turns to the rest, “If he signals us to come, please let me assist, I can help make you all appear to become more one with the earth.” She watches Soloth, concern across her stoic features.
Seeing the Roc fly over them, Elandra cooed mildly, "Well, that is a beast worth of a tale or two. It is a failing of my profession that so many minstrels sing the words without having experienced the awe or the emotion that such majestic moments evoke." She listens to Soloth and Koric, discussing their options going forwards. About to add her own capabilities into the mix, Soloth makes his way off without waiting for further discussion.
Whispering to the rest of the party as she starts to stride after, "I'll keep Soloth company. Stay close and we'll signal within the hour." As she strides, the hums a small ditty and waves her arms as though throwing a cloak around herself, though as the imaginary hem sweeps across her body, Elandra disappears from site, hat and all. She quick steps after Soloth and lays a hand on his shoulder, "Don't freak, it is far wiser to pair up than for the rest of us to wonder whether you are coming back at all! I'll follow your lead, hunter."
The runes aren't written in a language you can read. Given you can't make out the language, it's hard to tell if they are arcane or not. From context, you guess it's probably Dwarvish
@Soloth and Elandra
You move as stealthily as possible towards the cave, advancing quickly as the rest of the group waits for you to see if you can find anything of importance
Soloth, you sneak by, slinking as softly as your draconic frame will let you, and it doesn't appear the roc is aware of your presence in the slightest. Elandra, turning yourself entirely invisible, your attempts at stealth become even simpler (advantage), and you are able to rush to catch up to Soloth without any concern at all.
As you both enter the cave, the area is nearly prohibitively dark, the light from the outside barely helping to illuminate the cavern within, but you can see the outline of what seems to be the ruins of some sort of statue and some other rubble, although what exactly it all is is very unclear. Both of you, make a perception check with disadvantage
Liri stares in a mixture of amazement and wariness at the huge roc. "What an incredible creature. I've never actually seen one before," she whispers softly. As Soloth and Elandra volunteer to scout, she hangs back with the others. As she waits, she readies herself to act upon their signal, or any other sign of trouble.

@Lux
You start walking up to join the group, but as you walk along, you stumble a bit, kicking up a few pebbles. Looking up slowly, you can see the roc begin to stir from its perch, the noises you have made disturbing its slumber. You halt in your tracks, about halfway between where you started and the mouth of the cave
Do you want to continue, or do you stay where you are to avoid disturbing the roc further? Roll another stealth check if you want to continue
@Elandra
Sorry, missed your darkvision! Going to roll a D4 to see which one of those die rolls I take as your roll. 1-2 is the nine, 3-4 is the 25 2 (Figured that was the best option as w/ darkvision it would have been a flat roll) You look into the darkness, hoping to make out whatever you can of the statue, but you really can't see much of anything, and the exact details of the ruined monument elude you
@DM - First roll would have been a nine, so fair to take that one.
Elandra whispers back, cautious of any echoes that their voices might cause, "Go ahead, I can make out the statue, no details on it though. No idea if there are any other passageways off this room either so for as much harm as it might cause, go for the torch. Not like anyone is going to see me regardless."
You can't see all that much as you peer into the darkness, but you can make out the outline of the cave. It seems to you like this is an incredibly small cavern, so there's probably not much deeper to go into it. You could certainly light the torch if you want to, although if you do, roll a stealth check to see if you can do it without disturbing the roc
Looking at the ruined statue, you do make out some carvings on what you think was the base of the statue. They are written in a language you don't understand, most likely Dwarvish
@Lux
You freeze in place, not risking the roc noticing you any more than it already has

Seeing the signal from Soloth, Jade turns to the rest of the party. She lifts her arms and speaks a few words casting pass without trace, when she does a whispy black veil of shadows starts from her arms as well as the ground and creeps it's way over to the rest of the party, encapsulating all from above and below. "This should assist in all of us being more like the earth, not as noticeable to others, such as the roc."
(Is Lux within 30' of Jade? If not, they can't be included, not sure how far they went - each character within 30' of Jade gets +10 to their stealth rolls)
Once she is finished, she starts heading towards the cave, as you look down, you see she leaves no tracks or traces of where she was.

@DM: How close and how high are the outcroppings?

Elandra gives Soloth Bardic Inspiration

Lux moves as well
Stealth: 11
D&D since 1984
Perception: 9 & 25
Elandra does have 60ft darkvision, so I've split the rolls in case that helps and mitigate the disadvantage, no problems if not.
