Regardless of other things under discussion, Ernos targets the charging Ghast with both beams of Eldritch Blast.

+3 fire damage if at least one hits.

((Ah, I thought you were a little further away, @Cladmir and @Kroshav. It would have attacked you when it came out and then you can start your stabbing back. I guess I should have started with a map!))

The ghast emerges and takes a swing at Kroshav, the dragonborn's snout twitching at the putrid scent coming off the thing. Cladmir a short distance away gets hit as well.

Ghast attack: 13 Damage: 11

The creature's claws skid harmlessly across Kroshav's shield, but the stench seems to become even more heavy.

((Con saves from Cladmir and Kroshav, beat a 9 or you're poisoned!))

Ernos doesn't hesitate and from his vantage point sends two blast into the creature, staggering it and spraying steaming black ooze onto Kroshav and Cladmir's armor.

Kroshav's Con:14

Kroshav grimaces at the stink and swing Sword.

Cladmir held his breath as he followed Kroshav's lead and swing at the enemy.

Attack: 16 Damage: 9  Acid damage: 3

Attack: 8 Damage: 12 Acid damage: 5

Kroshav's first strike with Sword nearly drops the ghast, severing an arm. The backswing cleanly bisects the thing. The parculiar warmth he's felt a few times from Sword washes over him as Sword begins laughing in utter, manic joy.

((Wisdom save from Kroshav please. I think you still get the vampiric hit points from the attack. Will have to check my notes when I get home.))

The dead undead thing leaves Cladmir without a target but he is ready.

((We'll save that attack as a readied attack for the next one.

@Jaq, anything before I take all the undead turns?))

Kroshav chuckles along with Sword.

Wis: 22

Since there are no other undead to shoot at, at the moment, he will hide behind one of the piles of snow that was built.

Stealth: 14

Something about the laugh strikes Kroshav as feeling right, especially together with the flow of magic up his arm and nearly erasing his headache from the banshee. It felt so right he needs to do it again. Now. Over and over.

Kroshav :

Jaq moves and ducks behind the snowbank they made just as five other dead things emerge from the stairs, all dodging around the fire. They look like the first thing that came out be more feral and a bit smaller. These five close on the first things they see, Kroshav and Cladmir. The old human warrior see them coming the first to reach him drops before it can do anything but the other four split, a pair for each.

Behind them, Jaq and Ernos both see four spirits rise from the ground around them before closing in, spectral hands extended. None of them get close enough to attack.

An additional pair of creatures like the first bound up the stairs and tear into the two nearest the stairs with their claws.

Ghoul claw attacks on Cladmir:

The golem leaps forward to strike at the nears ghoul while Mikram spins to fire at the nearest ghost.

Golem attack:

Attack: 20 Damage: 3

Cladmir is unable to block the wave of attacks, all three managing to hit. Kroshav does better and is able to block all but one on his armor.

((@Cladmir please give me three con saves, you need to beat a 9 or you become paralyzed for a minute (you can re-roll at the end of your turn). @Kroshav, one con save please - beat the 9!))

The golem lands a solid strike on the distracted ghoul and Mikram makes an expert shot into the nearest ghost and leaves it glowing a bit more palely.

The golem says,

Kroshav CON: 16

Kroshav bellows a draconic roar that devolves into gasping laughter as he whirls, Sword slicing through snow before sweeping down on the ghast in front of him. The paladin chuckles as he hews away at them.
